I want to know am i coverd under warrenty or not. How to fix this issue. I love this phone so i dont to lose it or buy a new one.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIt started heating up for no reason. Even if I barely use it, only last for 2-3 hours if I'm not using it as much but If I am using it it lasts for an hour or two. I don't get why it happened to my phone. It also takes too long to charge. When I fist had my phone, It takes an hour or to be full. But these past few days, it takes 2-3 hours to be full, sometimes even longer than that. I tried cooling it down for not using it for 2 days but nothing happened. I tried rebooting my phone too.

View 1 Replies View Relatedmy Blackberry started doing something rather strange 2 days ago while it was sitting on the table for about 3 hours in stand by or whatever it does when you aren't using it. When I picked it up it was really hot even in its holster and I noticed that the battery was critical so I plugged it in after 30 mins it wouldn't charge so I took the battery off the BB allowed it to cool and placed it in the Blackberry again this time it charged and works fine then again today it does it again. Today I disabled Bluetooth and wireless prior to it happening so I know its something else. Now I would normally suspect a bad battery but if so it wouldn't charge and work normally would it?As for performance the only quirk that mine has is that once in a while it freezes (goes to hourglass) for 2 - 3 mins once it did it while I was dialing a call. Its on the latest os or so it says the blackberry desktop.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a 950XL and everything was working fine until this morning. I had put it up for charge early in the morning around 4 and when I got up at 8 and held it, it was hot, and I wasn't sure what was going wrong because there was nothing open. So I switched it off for a while and let it cool. When I switched it back on, the battery went down to 51% and now I've put it up for charge again. I had turned on Hey Cortana last night but since the phone started acting up this morning, I decided to switch it off. It's still warm though, not sure why. Also, it keeps giving me an error about the phone having low storage even though I've only used around 7.9 GB out of the 29 GB available.

I have tried to close most of the notifications but this problem still persists. I even most of the times, shut the applications by double clicking the home button but still the heating is there. This happens when I talk on the phone and also when i am using the Apps store. But, mostly when I am using the apps store.

I bought a Torch 9810 last week and the problem is it is overheating. I charged it for the first time and only started using it once the battery was fully charged. At first everything was normal until I started using it, it started getting warm at the back, the bottom part below the battery. The longer I continued using the hotter it got. Once it is hot hot it stops reading the Sd card, it gives the Fatal error message. The following day I took it back and was swopped with another new phone, same model, and I am still experiencing the same problem. I used the Curve for two years and never experienced any issues.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy bb curve 8520 is about a year old. 3 days ago i noticed the battery went from 100% to 0% in a span of some minutes. i recharged the battery and noticed it kept doing the same thing. I then replaced the battery thinking it had run its course but the problem persists. I have no open programs running and no new applications installed that might be using up the battery. the phone gets warm and the battery dies rapidly.
View 1 Replies View Relatedi got the curve 9320 2 months ago, the first phone was over heating and the battery only lasted 4 hours maximum, so vodafone replaced it, then the second one is now doing excatly the same thing, nothing is switched on, on the phone that would cause the battery to do this, fully charged this morning, not one call or text and the phone is red hot and dead 4 hours later, could this be a manufactoring fault?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a 950xl, yesterday I felt it get incredibly hot in my pocket. pulled it out, the phone seemed to have switched off. I just could not turn it back on again, but it remained hot. Pulled battery out and put it back in. Still could not turn it on. Attached it to charger, battery icon showed as empty, then phone went into endless reboot cycle. Left it on charge overnight and in the morning was still in its endless reboot cycle, with battery still showing as dead. Could not hard reset either.

My iPhone 4 has recently started heating up and draining the battery very quickly, I updated to 5.1.1 when it became available but I can't say that is the definite cause for this problem as it started occurring about 1 week after updating.
I have searched the web/these boards and tried countless things but nothing seems to be working. Basically if I do anything on the phone it will immediately start to heat up and drain the battery. I have recently had the screen replaced, not by apple themselves but by a certified specialist that uses apple equipment, could this be part to blame?
I have tried a 2/3 full restores, resetting network, resetting settings. I did notice that when iCloud was disabled it didn't seem to drain the battery as quick but personally I don't want to settle for having to run my phone with half the functions turned off!
One last thing I am going to try is something I read on cnet which was to do a backup onto my computer (I have been doing all the resets via wireless/cloud at the moment) and then reset the setting, run the battery right down and then full restore the battery to 100%.
