Feb 5, 2010I really hate writing this. I own a E71 & 5880 Xpress with mild but optimistic expectations. Now, Its been less than 6 hours that I bought a new E72 and I will return it as soon as possible, its simply the best example of how can the worst possible software written in a phone annoy a user as much as to forget that his holding one fine and beautiful piece of technology. Who? please tell me who! is the software development manager of the company? The interface is as disturbing as it can be, every time you try to do whatever yo have to, it answer tons of "are you sure", "I can not do it without it", "can I help you doing in the easy way this thing that was easy in the past but now we made it just as incredibly complicated as we could for the sole purpose of wasting our time and yours", and even worst written in a lingo that only Nokia's IT find excusable when they send themselves brief SMS. As an example did you know this phone has a Michelin Guide?, but of course.
From startup screen > press home button > search & press applications > search & press GPS > search & press Maps | and then > define or not an access point > accept or not the extra cost warning regarding roaming > then accept or not the warning of assisted GPS > then search & press Michelin. I swear I'm not joking.
I don't expect Nokia to copy from Apple's or Android's or Palm's even HTC or WinM but please, come on, how can it be that this phone is worst than the predecessor. Another curiosity, this phone has a compass but no app to use it, actually its disabled why? Someone please explain? (I could fix it with some blogs & a 3rd party app just in case someone wants to help). You can also use the space bar as linter unless there is any other application running in the background (like Nokia's own web browser o email client). Screen transitions? why? does it look like Apple?, someone must have asked: now that we have a faster processor what can we do? and found reasonable the answer: put transitions in between so it ends up being much slower. If your listening to music and put your E72 in your pocket, all the music changes thanks to the magic of the Optical Navi Key and the list goes on ans on and on.

Oct 18, 2011The sound of c6-00 is so worst that i need to check my cell after avery few mins to knw my calls & sms.. Earlier i was using n73 which had no such problems.. Unfortunately i lost it somehow which lead me to buy c6-00 but now i m having a worst time while using the cell... I wish that nokia administration could find a way to fix the biggest problem of the loudness of of sound on c6-00..

Nov 20, 2014The camera is beast when I click in shadows, night or other places. But when it comes to sunlight, it fails badly. I've tried multiple settings but it just don't work. Due to photo editing apps in Lumia. They are best editing apps & I'm able to correct them though it.
When I click a photo of someone in sunlight, it puts yellow tint all over him and everywhere else. Skin colour also changes to full yellowish.

Mar 24, 2012It started heating up for no reason. Even if I barely use it, only last for 2-3 hours if I'm not using it as much but If I am using it it lasts for an hour or two. I don't get why it happened to my phone. It also takes too long to charge. When I fist had my phone, It takes an hour or to be full. But these past few days, it takes 2-3 hours to be full, sometimes even longer than that. I tried cooling it down for not using it for 2 days but nothing happened. I tried rebooting my phone too.

I have tried to close most of the notifications but this problem still persists. I even most of the times, shut the applications by double clicking the home button but still the heating is there. Defy includes own app called 3G Mobile Hotspot, which should work like that option for creating mobile WiFi hotspots in other Android phones. But here is the problem.On my older phone with Android 2.2 I could create 3G WiFi hotspot wherever I needed and it worked. But now, with Defy, when I use that application 3G Mobile Hotspot, it writes me error when creating WiFi hotspot "Cannot set up data link, please contact your service provider" I suppose it is something with my carrier (Vodafone_CZ), but when I used 3G WiFi hotspots on older phones (which had that feature included right in Android settings menu) it worked without problems and I a used mobile phone for 3G internet sharing with my laptop.Now I remember, that I have deleted some DUN profile under APN Internet profiles, could it be that problem, that 3G Mobile Hotspot app is not working?how to create WiFi hotspot on my Defy for example with some other app?Or if not, how can I use Internet Tethering in Defy Mobile Networks menu via Bluetooth (my laptot has BT). IPhone :: 4 Heating Up And Draining The Battery Very Quickly?
Jun 6, 2012My iPhone 4 has recently started heating up and draining the battery very quickly, I updated to 5.1.1 when it became available but I can't say that is the definite cause for this problem as it started occurring about 1 week after updating.
I have searched the web/these boards and tried countless things but nothing seems to be working. Basically if I do anything on the phone it will immediately start to heat up and drain the battery. I have recently had the screen replaced, not by apple themselves but by a certified specialist that uses apple equipment, could this be part to blame?
I have tried a 2/3 full restores, resetting network, resetting settings. I did notice that when iCloud was disabled it didn't seem to drain the battery as quick but personally I don't want to settle for having to run my phone with half the functions turned off!
One last thing I am going to try is something I read on cnet which was to do a backup onto my computer (I have been doing all the resets via wireless/cloud at the moment) and then reset the setting, run the battery right down and then full restore the battery to 100%.

May 6, 2010my Blackberry started doing something rather strange 2 days ago while it was sitting on the table for about 3 hours in stand by or whatever it does when you aren't using it. When I picked it up it was really hot even in its holster and I noticed that the battery was critical so I plugged it in after 30 mins it wouldn't charge so I took the battery off the BB allowed it to cool and placed it in the Blackberry again this time it charged and works fine then again today it does it again. Today I disabled Bluetooth and wireless prior to it happening so I know its something else.Now I would normally suspect a bad battery but if so it wouldn't charge and work normally would it?As for performance the only quirk that mine has is that once in a while it freezes (goes to hourglass) for 2 - 3 mins once it did it while I was dialing a call.Its on the latest os or so it says the blackberry desktop.

Jan 8, 2012I bought a Torch 9810 last week and the problem is it is overheating. I charged it for the first time and only started using it once the battery was fully charged. At first everything was normal until I started using it, it started getting warm at the back, the bottom part below the battery. The longer I continued using the hotter it got. Once it is hot hot it stops reading the Sd card, it gives the Fatal error message. The following day I took it back and was swopped with another new phone, same model, and I am still experiencing the same problem. I used the Curve for two years and never experienced any issues.
