i have xperia ray phone . i have upadate with latest android 4.0.4 ics. but since i have upadate i find some problem in my phone like heating and hanging and no long batery life.. when i play any games or start any app my mobile just heat in only 3 to 5 minute. when i call any person sometime it hang and i cant disconect call without switch off my mobile..

View 3 Replies View RelatedOne of my SMS threads with someone has gotten so long (a LOT of messages over a year or so) that it's slowed right down and takes about 10 seconds to load up initially, and then trying to reply is all jumpy & slow, it basically seems to have slowed right down to be unusable. I'm assuming the thread has gotten too long and it's juggling it around in memory.
I'm just wondering if there's any way I can resolve this? If possible I'd rather not delete the thread, but will if there's no alternative. Is there a way I can save this thread and then start a new one with this person? Or back up the thread or something?

You can not only see and clear codes, but it will give you performance estimates, track your sensors to GPS you can see where it was that you hit a certain problem. Best use of a Droid X yet. My problem was a loose gas cap, tightened cap, cleared clodes and avoided a 60 mile drive to the dealer and probably a $100 service charge to diagnose the problem.

X10 hangs alot and never recovers afterwards for example most of the time when ever i use its camera, during the usage it hangs and stops responding to anything, the only solution to get the normal functionality back is to restart my mobile by pulling out battery and putting back in. I had even tried to reinstall android 2.1 thrice but still facing the same abnormal behaviour.Now whenever I connect my phone with my PC via data cable, its PC companion screen is blank (Screen shot is attached). This is especially annoying as the same problem blighted my XP and is one of the main reasons i chose to upgrade as was struggling with ram issues anyway.

Im a new user, just got the SE XPERIA RAY yesterday, the phone has a great feature of locking the screen during a call (whether initiated or received) until the user clicks the home button. however upon receiving calls the screen locks (black screen), the home button doesnt unlock the screen and it stays that was after the call ends, until it restarts or i remove the battery. i removed the battery, sim and SD card. I updated the software then made a master reset, nothing works... should i replace the phone? or is there something else to try?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIt started heating up for no reason. Even if I barely use it, only last for 2-3 hours if I'm not using it as much but If I am using it it lasts for an hour or two. I don't get why it happened to my phone. It also takes too long to charge. When I fist had my phone, It takes an hour or to be full. But these past few days, it takes 2-3 hours to be full, sometimes even longer than that. I tried cooling it down for not using it for 2 days but nothing happened. I tried rebooting my phone too.

View 1 Replies View Relatedmy Blackberry started doing something rather strange 2 days ago while it was sitting on the table for about 3 hours in stand by or whatever it does when you aren't using it. When I picked it up it was really hot even in its holster and I noticed that the battery was critical so I plugged it in after 30 mins it wouldn't charge so I took the battery off the BB allowed it to cool and placed it in the Blackberry again this time it charged and works fine then again today it does it again. Today I disabled Bluetooth and wireless prior to it happening so I know its something else.Now I would normally suspect a bad battery but if so it wouldn't charge and work normally would it?As for performance the only quirk that mine has is that once in a while it freezes (goes to hourglass) for 2 - 3 mins once it did it while I was dialing a call.Its on the latest os or so it says the blackberry desktop.

I had put it up for charge early in the morning around 4 and when I got up at 8 and held it, it was hot, and I wasn't sure what was going wrong because there was nothing open. So I switched it off for a while and let it cool. When I switched it back on, the battery went down to 51% and now I've put it up for charge again. I had turned on Hey Cortana last night but since the phone started acting up this morning, I decided to switch it off. It's still warm though, not sure why. Also, it keeps giving me an error about the phone having low storage even though I've only used around 7.9 GB out of the 29 GB available.

I have tried to close most of the notifications but this problem still persists. I even most of the times, shut the applications by double clicking the home button but still the heating is there.
