Nokia Nseries :: 700 Phone Is Heating Up Quite Fast
Apr 28, 2012Ok so when I'm calling and using 3G, the phone is heating up quite fast.. I also have an Xperia X10 and it's not heating up as much as the Nokia 700.. Is this normal for this model? Is the aluminum body causing for it's a conductor?

Bluetooth headset is connected, music player is not running (or any other application, for that matter). When a phone conversation ends, or a missed call is received, the music player starts by itself. Note: I do not press any buttons on the headset or the phone.
how to prevent this annoying behavior?

Apr 10, 2010i have a problem when trying to charge my N900. It happens since day one and after upgrade to new one. It also happens after a reflash to older version and with no software installed. It happens when using the wall charger and using the USB cable connected to my laptop.
I plug my N900 and it starts charging, after a while it will stop. Sometimes it happens a few minutes after i plug it, sometimes it will happen after more time. When i unplug and replug it will start charging again and repeat the same process again: it will eventually say not charging. It happens when the phone is turned on and off. I have left my N900 plugged for hours and the light that indicates is charging just stops. Even when left 24 hours battery-eye applicaiton shows that the maximum it will get is around 40%
Do you think is a battery issue and is a matter of changing it or should i get a new device?

Jun 17, 2010I have stopped media player, walked into a meeting, and put the phone on silent. My phone rings! It's ok, because the phone is on silent, however, after it stops ringing, music starts playing and it's really loud. It plays through the phone speakers.Has anyone had an issue with this? I would love to resolve this issue asap because It's happened a number of times, especially when I don't want it to.

Jun 22, 2010Installed the Ovi Suite today (2.2), but when I start it I see the window for about 20 sec, then it silently disappears. So I can't manage my E71 (mostly today I just wanted to load the Ovi maps), or do anything.
I've uninstalled all the previous stuff (Nokia Map Update, PC Suite etc), and reinstalled the Ovi Suite a couple of times, but Ovi still drops out.
Nokia :: 6700 Classic Starts To Shut Down
Feb 3, 2010I had the Bluetooth problem before and got new HW (motherboard). Everything was ok for 1 day and then the phone starts to shut down when it at idle. could take 1-2 hours before it just decides to shut down. it seems very ramdom. first few times it started again but suddenly I had to take out the battery...wait a while and then start it and today it decided to shut down and I can't start it at all. Had the battery out for 10 min but not any life signs when I try again.

I then switched the one back on and the start up screen worked fine but then after that it the screen goes white then it fades to black and switches of (kinda pixel like switch off). Apr 28, 2010Need Help/Suggestion from Mobile Gurus right here .I have 1 Year Old N73 ME and I mainly use it for Calling and Texting. Very Occasionally I use it for Music/Gaming and Browsing the Web.The phone is completely in excellent condition
The problem is that: While charging ONLY the Battery gets too much HOT and it never shows Battery is Full (Charged it for Max 1 Hour 45 Minutes) This problem suddenly appeared, so I formatted the Memory Card as well as Hard Format/Reset the Phone, but still the Battery is heating too much
After disconnecting the Phone from Charger, the Battery is FULL and I can use it without any problem and as usual. The Talktime right now is around 2.5 Hours and Standby time is around 2-3 Days

My carrier's voice mail number is *9 and when I try to set it I get an "invalid number" message. I've been reading a on the internet and it seems to be that numbers starting with a * have a special meaning on GSM phones and that is why it gets rejected. Is there an alternative way to set the voice mail number on a nokia 5800 phone?

Mar 24, 2012It started heating up for no reason. Even if I barely use it, only last for 2-3 hours if I'm not using it as much but If I am using it it lasts for an hour or two. I don't get why it happened to my phone. It also takes too long to charge. When I fist had my phone, It takes an hour or to be full.
