Nokia Nseries :: 700 Phone Is Heating Up Quite Fast
Apr 28, 2012
Ok so when I'm calling and using 3G, the phone is heating up quite fast.. I also have an Xperia X10 and it's not heating up as much as the Nokia 700.. Is this normal for this model? Is the aluminum body causing for it's a conductor?
During net surfing and especially during video-recording, the panel around camera, both, front & back (almost the whole top) gets heated- you would feel enough hotness when put on ears.
I recently updated my N8 to ANNA. After that I'm facing lot of issues such as the battery lasts only less than 12 Hrs, problems with e-mails, slow response etc. How can I roll back my phones software to Symbian v3. I dont want to take my phone to any Nokia Care centres.
Z2 changed my phone camera. Now she after ~ 10 minutes. heating up and off camera. Photo is also of poor quality. The Centre is bent at a lot of other less. Compared to the Z1 photos of the visible and the Z1 camera does not heat.
I recently bought a 950XL and everything was working fine until this morning. I had put it up for charge early in the morning around 4 and when I got up at 8 and held it, it was hot, and I wasn't sure what was going wrong because there was nothing open. So I switched it off for a while and let it cool. When I switched it back on, the battery went down to 51% and now I've put it up for charge again. I had turned on Hey Cortana last night but since the phone started acting up this morning, I decided to switch it off. It's still warm though, not sure why. Also, it keeps giving me an error about the phone having low storage even though I've only used around 7.9 GB out of the 29 GB available.
My Xperia Z5 continually heating up after boot then it going to Sleep of dead i have to reset by put the power botton and volume up to boot my Xperia again. Iit take about 3 minutes before going to dead after boot.
I have a 950xl, yesterday I felt it get incredibly hot in my pocket. pulled it out, the phone seemed to have switched off. I just could not turn it back on again, but it remained hot. Pulled battery out and put it back in. Still could not turn it on. Attached it to charger, battery icon showed as empty, then phone went into endless reboot cycle. Left it on charge overnight and in the morning was still in its endless reboot cycle, with battery still showing as dead. Could not hard reset either.
M using this phone (Neo V white color) from the past 10 days and love it. However, m experiencing a strange issue, it gets heated up while using the phone for 2- 5 mins (Browsing, Calls or playing games). It gets so much heated up that I cannot hold in my hand . Also, m not able to use the phone while charging (nothin works)....is this normal?
Like the title says, will the battery die faster and need a quicker replacement if I keep the phone connected to the charger for long times? What exactly happens when the phone says "battery full, unplug charger to save power" and the white charging indicator goes off? Does the phone software automatically stop the charging process?Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Cry, and the world laughs louder :-)
My Xperia ray phone suddenly not charging fully and phone gets drained within 3hours not even doing anythingI have bought a new battery 2 days back , reset the phone to factory setting. Used all the battery boosting softwares. Charged the phone during switched off. So the problem is clearly a hardware issue. I bought the phone in April 2012 from Amazon UK . I want to know am i coverd under warrenty or not. How to fix this issue. I love this phone so i dont to lose it or buy a new one.
my iphone 4is over heating and the battery life is diminishing very quickly ive rebooted the phone deleted the apps that where open and turnede it off for an hour but it still is doing the same thing with in 5 minutes the battery life has gone from 66% to 59%?
My girlfriend owns a Razr and every since the ICS update she has been telling me her phone has giving her problems. It gets hot when listening to pandora or videos after a short time in use. Her battery life wasnt the greatest from the beginning but after ICS it's worse. I was suppose to do this a week ago after I mentioned. Now shes threatening to take my Maxx.
My xoom has been over heating in the lower right hand corner for the entire time I've had it. I was wondering if this is at all a common problem? I've sent it in for repair once already (preparing a second trip) and that was a waste of time cause NOTHING AT ALL seem to change. So now I get the feeling that this $600 piece of electronics is soon to be a paper weight.
Found the culprit that was causing my Storm to drain the battery and get hot, It was an app called StormSlider also called BerrySlider. There has been a few updates since release 5.0 but the author doesnt seem to have got the battery drain problem solved yet i was running version 5.08, this has cost me a battery as it cooked it whilst it was on charge.Ive removed the app and my phone is fine again.
I have a month old Nokia 710. My phone's body heats up excessively when 3G is on and in sometimes while talking. With 3G on, it is always. While on call, it happens sometimes. I have updated to latest using Zune. I am thinking this is a glitch in WP7 and can be fixed with a OS firmware update but maybe the handset is also at fault?
Just got the G4 last night and I bought a quick charger 2.0, but just wondering if there is a way to know that it is fast charging. Should it say so on the screen? I remember my buddy's Gflex 2 saying it, but mine doesn't.
I've noticed over the last week or so that my N5 gets hot when I browse the web for a few seconds. It gets insanely hot when I try to use navigation as well. I've never had a phone get this hot, this often. It seems like the simplest task makes the device very warm.
I cant scan phone memory of nokia 5233 using antivirus.when my phone is in mass storage mode via USB, it only shows Memory Card under my computer, It never shows phone memory. We also know that if we keep phone in ovi suite mode, it dont shows option to scan phone memory.
So a little over a year now I had my LG G3. Its been about a week of not a bit more that I've noticed this. I still have the same apps that I've had before. I deleted all the new ones I installed. I charge it all night before bed. When I wake up its at 100% I can leave it there and it goes down to 90% in like 30 minutes. So of course I tried to restart the phone.
I've been charging the phone more then 4 times a day, that's how fast it has been dying. It gets super super super hot at the stop of the camera, and then of course my phone goes really slow. But it gets so hot you burn yourself. I seriously can't think of another way of why it is dying so fast. I've never had a phone problem like thos before. I've tried installing apps, to clean stuff won't work.
Using z3,why my battery before this if fully charging it will stated can stay until 2days buy now fully charging but It appears only for 14hours only for the battery
I recently bought a GS6 and I love everything about the phone....except the battery! This is literally a deciding factor for me vs the iPhone 6.
I know it has a quad HD screen but my battery drains WHEN THE SCREEN IS OFF. My provider (T-Mobile) says one reason could be that I used all my data (T-Mobile just slows down your speeds). This can also mean it's constantly searching for a better signal. Sometimes I don't get reception indoors but usually my reception is good.
Now, I would understand if my battery was dropping IF I had the screen on, but it's not. It's dropping a percent every 2-3 minutes.
My data plan reloads in two days so I can see if it gets better but if not, I will be switching to an iPhone.
My iPhone gets hot after 15 or so minutes whilst on Skype phone conversation and normal phone conversation and it makes it impossible to talk for longer than that, this has happened for a long time now and my warranty has expired. Also my phone can barely last more than an hour if I use it to download and view my PDF files from my inbox using 3G and a quarter of my battery is drained just from listening to it for an hour.
I have tried taking the battery out to reset it and I also closed open apps I am not using but nothing seems to work.My phone has drained its battery 3 times already today and I only charge it when the battery is super low which is usually 1-2 days. I only use the phone for personal use and do not have a lot of apps on it.All this started last night out of the blue. It was fine all day yesterday. It is also constantly timing out. I will type a BBM to someone and every 3 words, I see the little clock ticking Lastly, I noticed while I was talking on it a few minutes ago, it got really hot which I haven't noticed before (I had it plugged in since it's not keeping a charge). Is this related to the recent issues or does this mean my phone is done? I have only had it a year and my husband who uses his way more than I do usually has his for 2 years.I think this info shows in my profile but if not, I am on AT&T, I have the 9800.
