Reading many topics I see some commands which are recommended to do to solve some problems or find serious infos.As I do not like to do something blindly, can anybody advise me where could be find the list of all commands and its parameters which can be used on N900?
View 5 Repliesi just got my n900 and wow what a device but the problem im having is the app manager its not loading the maemo org and the maemo extras im on version 3.20..... and can someone give me the field i have to fill up in the catalogue maybe thats the problem or i need to software update my phone .i like it how i can overclock the n900 from 600 mhz to 1000 mhz in less than 30 sec.

View 5 Replies View RelatedWill, after I bought the new N900 (two days ago) and paid $$$$ and missed up my expenditure budget for this month :mansad: I found out that no MMS for N900 and Maemo 5 is not supporting MMS this is even made me sadder? ,and what made me want to Cray is the fact that two days ago Nokia VP announced that Maemo version 6 is on its way., but what I hope is that Maemo 5 can be upgraded to Maemo 6 and the issue of Missing including MMS can be solved with an upgrade for Maemo 5 to Maemo 6 (Hatmattan).
View 15 Replies View RelatedI just acquired my N900 two days ago from a Nokia authorised dealer in Nigeria and even convinced a colleague to pick one yesterday as well.I live in Nigeria and my GSM operator is etisalat, im presently experiencing difficulties with using service commands on my phone. For instance, when i dial *235(hash, sorry cant find the symbol on my macbook pro) to check my balance; i get an error message saying "number incorrect". Other service commands dont also work. Is there a way around this?
Its frustrating also that there is no official Nokia plugin for isync. I use a macbook pro and cant seem to find a way around syncing both devices. In the interim, I found www.salling.com very useful in transferring my media files.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOne of my SMS threads with someone has gotten so long (a LOT of messages over a year or so) that it's slowed right down and takes about 10 seconds to load up initially, and then trying to reply is all jumpy & slow, it basically seems to have slowed right down to be unusable. I'm assuming the thread has gotten too long and it's juggling it around in memory.
I'm just wondering if there's any way I can resolve this? If possible I'd rather not delete the thread, but will if there's no alternative. Is there a way I can save this thread and then start a new one with this person? Or back up the thread or something?

View 5 Replies View RelatedCheck engine light came on in my car and I wanted to see the code. Downloaded a free app called Torque and got a bluetooth OBD2 adapter on ebay for $28 and it's amazing. You can not only see and clear codes, but it will give you performance estimates, track your sensors to GPS you can see where it was that you hit a certain problem. Best use of a Droid X yet. My problem was a loose gas cap, tightened cap, cleared clodes and avoided a 60 mile drive to the dealer and probably a $100 service charge to diagnose the problem.

View 23 Replies View RelatedWould it be possible to add a "send" button at the bottom middle for service command view?Service command is the menu you get when you phone a *123# number for example.Currently you have to select your number/option by typing it and then select "Options" and select send. There are just two buttons currently in that view (Back and Options) on the Symbian Belle interface. My old Nokia had a dedicated send button Anyway, would really make things easier because these type op menu's are used by the mobile banking sites and to check my cellphone account balances.

I have just updated my X7-00 to Nokia Belle, In the Gallery app, when I press the Share button in the bottom bar it says "Feature not supported", why is that?. Also, the Nokia Recommends app doesn't work and always tells me it has problems with the connection, even though I'm already connected to a Wi-Fi network and every other thing on the phone works. I re-installed the update again but the same problems exist.

I just did a software update on my S5 and now my IMAP q.com email account only updates like 2 times a day even when the settings are set for every 30 minutes. It won't sync when I press the refresh button. My work IMAP email works fine.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have my corporate email set up on E72. The set up was using IMAP option. When I press the right most email key , I see all the emails in the inbox. Could you please explain is this is indeed my mailbox or is it just a link to mailbox ? The reason being everytime I click this key, I get a message stating that the last connect was at so & so time and do I want to connect again. When I connect , it shows connecting to my mailbox and disconnects immediately. I do not see any change to the list of emails shown. Sometimes I do see emails in this screen even though I have deleted those from the mailbox.

If I go into the main menu, the indicator changes into an envelope with a @ sign on it. I checked the User's Guide, but there is no image/picture that resembles it.
