View 1 RepliesI got an Xperia X10 Mini this summer on a 2 year contract and so far I've had it for about 6 months and It's worked fine. But then a few weeks ago I went to connect to my home Wi-Fi and it said Wi-Fi was off, so I turned it on and it crashed. When I finally got it to stop crashing it just said 'No Networks Avalible' even though I know that there is, but most of the time it crashes and I just can't connect to any Wi-Fi at all. I know it sounds a bit vague but I don't know what it is exactly that is happening.

It seems to work fine for a day or so before freezing, and either rebooting itself or forcing me to manually reboot it using power + volume down. This seems to send it into a bootloop where it generally freezes during the Samsung animation with the pulsing squares. This sequence continues with me manually rebooting, also trying to boot to safe mode and to recovery and after various attempts, i successfully got into recovery without it freezing on the blue android.
I then decided to factory reset as a last option, having looked around on forums for solutions. However, I now do not know what to do as it seems to have frozen during the factory reset. I dont have screenshots but the script reads as follows :

View 5 Replies View RelatedI wanted to unlock bootloader, and I got stuck at the point where I need to use fastboot (adb works fine), initially I thought that I did something wrong - but I've done some research and found out that the problem is actually with the phone. You are probably thinking that I did indeed something wrong, but bear with me please - here is how I found out:When updating/restoring via PC companion or SEUS it doesn´t matter if I connect the phone with volume UP or DOWN, it works either way (obviously should work only with volume down - Flash mode). Also when I use The Flashtool it always says that the device is in flash mode, doesn´t matter if the LED shines blue or green.I also tried getting fastboot to work in Ubuntu (first time around I was using win7 x32) and while assigning UDEV rules I was using the lsusb command and I found out that it reports the same thing in Fastboot (connecting with volume UP) and in Flash mode (with volume DOWN) - it repported 0fce:adde in both cases (and 0fce:0166 in normal mode and 0fce:5166 in USB debug).There is simply no difference when connecting with volume UP or DOWN (except for the LED color) - in both cases it connects in Flash mode...

I have attempted doing a nokia software updater firmware update and it confirms i'm on the latest firmware (10.2010.19.1) and i've used the app updater and updated all apps. It has happened before i enabled the extras-devel repository, so I doubt the fault lies there.
Since i restarted the device prior to running "cat /proc/bootreason" i can't find out the reason why it rebooted, but i will update this post as soon as it does it again.
I recieved this phone from Optus Australia, and is running a number of apps from both the ovi store and the app manager. The only apps i have installed from the extras-devel repository are unrar and unzip apps, although i did note that it updated a few other apps at the same time, like flashlight.
reformatted my phone by accident and now when it boots up the SE logo screen comes on and then just stays on nothing else happens. When i reboot it again the same thing happens it cant get past the SE logo screen... obviously ive wiped the firmware off it completely but i dont know how to flash it back on ive tryed to use "update service" but it cant find any software updates and i cant use pc companion because it wanting me to have my phone working to connect it

I have downloaded Android SDK 3.2 and Google USB driver as mentioned in the instruction there but when I try to connect to my phone it says there is no suitable driver. I went to Device Manager and under "other devices" there is entry for "F1Boot Fastboot" for which I'm trying to install the driver. I selected update driver software > browse my computer for driver > gave path to the usb_driver folder (C:Androidandroid-sdkextrasgoogleusb_driver) but it fails to find the necessary driver!
I am using Windows 7 64 bit and I checked the service setup of my phone to make sure that my phone is entitled for unlock of boot loader.
This morning, I clicked on Bluetooth widget by mistake which rebooted the phone. Since then it was continuously on boot loop and keeps on rebooting itself after the XPERIA logo.It got turned on once in afternoon after which i did a factory reset and it was working fine. In eve I tried to turn the Bluetooth on and it is around 4-5 hours my phone is still rebooting continuously.It is Android 4.0.4 and never rooted, minimum apps, all are from PlayStore only.

Left it to charge for a whole day (charging indicator lits up) but still nothing. But when I turn it on, the boot music/sound comes in and also I can only see the screen when under sunlight. I can see 'Silent mode " and "settings" on the screen. But the phone switches down when I press on either.

Two weeks ago my phone screen began randomly freezing, and a small section at the bottom would become digital noise/pixels. To fix this I simply locked my phone with the power button, waited a few minutes and my phone would be back to normal. I can't remember if this started happening before or after I updated my phone to the latest software.

For the last week when I unlock my phone, every now and again the screen won't turn on.
Sometimes when I plugged it in to charge, the charging screen would display and I could turn it on that way. When the screen was blank, sometimes I could press the power button repetitively (locking & unlocking my phone) and the screen would eventually turn on.
I then figured out I could do a 'hard reset' by holding down the power and volume up buttons, and my phone would work again.
I can't turn it off without it initiating a boot loop all on its own. Every time I press the power button and select "Power Off", it turns off and then about 5 seconds later the Sony screen comes back on, stays on for a few seconds, turns back off and repeats. I can break the bootloop by holding the power button for about 10 seconds and turning the device back on. The consequence is that every time I turn off my phone, it discharges totally!

The issue appeared after a few months of use, in November. I think it didn't coincide with any software update. It's not a brand new phone so I wouldn't like to  return it as I already have lots of information in there.Â

I can take screenshots, change the volume, etc. and as I could access the phone's internal and sdcard I made all the backups as possible.
This morning I try to send a email and my E72 freeze, I turned off and turned on again, my E72 only show me the menu of applications but no make a call, later I make a master reset from configuration menu, and my E72 no boot and only show me a white screen.
