My last message from my hotmail email account to my device was as of 6 pm today.....but I've been seeing emails come into my inbox since then through regular login on the web?...I resent service books and rebooted my device just so I know I'm not going crazy....anyone else with hotmail/msn experiencing this?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've developed a problem with my 9630 (carrier: Sprint) recently. I won't receive emails on it for quite a while, but once I open my Internet browser, all of the emails I received since the last time I opened it will come through at once. If I check my messages, they're all listed as coming through at the same time, but inside the email, they're datestamped at the actual time they were sent.
Any ideas as to what it could be? I haven't changed any settings recently, the problem started independent of anything else, from what I can tell. It seems like a problem with my phone not checking for new emails until it uses data services (internet browser).
Is anyone else have a big delay in recieving there hotmail emails on there tour 9630 ?

View 5 Replies View RelatedSo, I've had my Tour for around 8 to 9 months now. its worked pretty well overall. I put it in a Seidio innocase right when I got it and got the matching dock so I can charge it in the case.About 2 weeks ago, it just wouldn't charge on the dock anymore. I can plug it in, and it charges fine.Noone else I know has a Tour so I can't see if theirs will charge on my dock. I can only say that the dock hasn't left my end table in months, hasn't been dropped, and likely isn't the issue.Has anyone else had this happen on the Tour?I'm less than 1 yr with the Tour, but I've NEVER bought the insurance through Verizon. Do, I have ANY recourse here?I believe the last time I investigated the coverage, I understood that there was nearly no reason to have insurance becasue the phone has a year warranty from the manuf, but I must go through Verizon to do anything.I wanna have my ducks in a row before going forward.I also bought the phone on my Amex bluecash which extends my warranties up to an additional year, so if I can find documentation that the phone has a year warranty with RIM, then in another couple months I can make a claim on my AMEX, of course they would only cover what I paid for it which I believe was 100, or maybe 150 as far my card charges show.Not sure which way to go with this.If there is something I can take apart and fix inside, I'm not against attempting that but I dunno what it could be.
View 10 Replies View Relatedmy BB Tour stopped recognizing the contact alerts I set up. Verizon the cell carrier wasn't any help. I have deleted and reset. Shutdown the phone including disconnecting the battery-nothing helps. Does anyone know how to fix? Phone is a week old-New.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy tour was running low on battery last night, so I plugged it in, fell asleep, and had a nap. When I woke up, it was completely dead!No usb cord I have works to charge it, there is no red led lit up when I insert the battery. just nothing. It doesn't connect to the computer, jl_cmder wont connect, and app load wont connect using the trick if jl_cmder doesn't work.I got it first when it came out, or just a few days after, and it was fine. One night I dropped it and some water got in and set off the water sticker inside, but like I said it worked fine nothing happened to it. On the battery, the white sticker with the red line is completely faded to almost just a white sticker?? Is this sticker a heat sensitive one?

I checked my computer and I do have unread emails. Does anyone know what's going on... I did received messages yesterday, so my email set-up is correct.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my wife's OS on her VZW Tour to the latest official release. Since then she has been having problems with her work email.
She is on BIS but has her blackberry account set up with her company's Exchange server. Until the upgrade everything was fine. Now, however, most if not all of her work emails are arriving blank. All her other email accounts come through fine. If she forwards the work emails to another account they read fine. If she even forwards the work email back to her blackberry from the same email account the text of the email will appear as well. These are all internal emails within the company. Not HTML based. Text and possibly an attachment (attachments show up fine). I have checked her settings and nothing has changed. I am curious as to whether or not her employers email server may not be compatible with the new OS.
I am a little perplexed and cannot figure out what the deal is.
I'm not receiving any notification of voice-mails.People leave me voicemails, but the Tour doesn't notify me of them. I do not have visual voice mail -- this is just plain ol' voicemail. I don't get texts notifying me of VM, either, but I'm not sure I'm set up to receive text notifications, so I'm less concerned about that.
I've been notified before that there is a new voicemail for me, and after that there was a little icon up near the email and text message icons until I listened to it. I don't get either of these any longer -- not the big notification or even the little icon with the number beside it. I don't know exactly when or why these have stopped.How can I get VM notifications back?
i just noticed that my phone isn't ringing anymore. only vibrating. after checking it i realized that all of my sounds have stopped working including ringer,alerts,notifications,speakerphone, video sounds, etc.i'm using a 9630 tour running v.5.0.0.591 on vzw. i've searched the forums but haven't had any luck finding the issue unless it is a 5.0 os issue. i updated to 5.0 when vzw pushed it a few weeks ago and the sounds were still working afterward. the last time i can remember hearing sounds was on sunday when i was watching a Internet vid.
View 6 Replies View RelatedThursday I didn't get any emails from my external email accounts (Yahoo, Hotmail, Work) until 11:40PM Pacific then I got a whole days worth. Since then I haven't received anything.My phone works, text messaging works, the brower works, I can see the emails when I go to the websites on the PC or BB Browser. Facebook (no notifications though because they come through email) and Twitter apps work.I sent a test email from my BB from my yahoo account to my hotmail account and it did send.I have taken the battery out and restarted it. There arent any errors or anything I'm just not receiving the emails.

I receive the message and my phone acts like I have one, but all the words are gone. And this sender is the person I text and talk the most to. I pulled the battery and that didn't help.

I'm on a amtrak and won't be home until at least 10 am and it will be too late. View 5 Replies View RelatedBlackberry Tour keeps giving me error that password for my email is wrong I'm having the problem now with my hotmail email on my BB since yesterday. I've tried to remove my battery, I've entered it like 30 +times, I even deleted the email from my phone. Now I can't add it back, it keeps saying that it's an invalid password and it can't validate, and to contact hotmail.com. I even changed my password on hotmail.com, I just logged into my hotmail on the actual computer with the correct same password, the same one that my BB won't take. When I put in my password on the email setup page it says, "Processing, please wait..." Then I get this error, "Invalid email address or password. Verify your email address and password. If the error persist, contact hotmail.com. " I have other email accounts on my phone that are working just fine.

I always get the "HTTP Error 400: Bad Request" dialog. And under the details "Connection refused". Not sure what to try other than several battery pulls, etc. Again, never had any issues until a few days ago havent loaded any new apps, etc.

I can't let it go completely dead cause when its almost dead it stops receiving. I have a cradle charger I put it on everyday when I go to bed. when I push the dial button, it will make a normal call...it suppost not to make a call..it suppost to send the command to the network to get the interactive menu..

I've noticed that no matter how many times I try to close facebook it stays open and seems to slow my Tour down to a crawl. Constantly getting the spinning clock now. I've tried reinstalling facebook but that didn't help. Facebook isn't worth not having my Tour work but at that the same time why am I paying for a device that won't run apps without issues? It's really strange because nothing has changed and yet all of a sudden this issue has popped up. I also tried a battery pull but that seemed to make the problem worse, not better. After the battery pull I got the clock for about 10 minutes and the device was slow for a while after that

Yesterday i reflashed and today i deleted and readded the email accounts on the email.nokia.com site. My emails came through and i thought it was fixed, and now, just half hour later, it's stopped receiving again.
