I am running v5.0.0.419 on Verizon. Never had any issues until this weekend when I can suddenly not connect to any web pages. I always get the "HTTP Error 400: Bad Request" dialog. And under the details "Connection refused". Not sure what to try other than several battery pulls, etc. Again, never had any issues until a few days ago havent loaded any new apps, etc.

My browser stopped working - every time i try to go to a website, the browser screen remains white and says "loading" on the bar at the bottom, although the bar does not fill up. All of my other internet programs are working, email, apps, etc.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having a huge issues with my e-mail/internet and text messaging capabilities with my tour plus the phone constantly shuts off. I am on my 3rd tour (2nd replacement phone). This issue started about 4-6 weeks ago w/my first tour, it was replaced then the second one started randomly shutting off, then I am now on tour #3 and am having major issues:I'm not able to get a signal to receive phone calls, text messages or e-mails and today while I was at work (same spot for the last 6 months -- haven't moved and never had an internet/signal problem before) when I got out of work I had 18 e-mails, 16 text messages, 2 missed calls and my battery was practically drained and dying (which by the way under mobile connections and mobile network if I put it on 1VEX it can never find a signal or is always searching for a signal whereas if I put it as Global it can find a signal).I got this phone because I'm an avid overseas traveler and I need a phone w/me when I leave however this is causing a lot of frustration and annoyance.I've done everything to all devices:hard pull, complete hard drive wipe, updated service books, turned mobile networks on and off, made sure I had the most up-to-date software available NOTHING works.any suggestions?

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy tour was running low on battery last night, so I plugged it in, fell asleep, and had a nap. When I woke up, it was completely dead!No usb cord I have works to charge it, there is no red led lit up when I insert the battery. just nothing. It doesn't connect to the computer, jl_cmder wont connect, and app load wont connect using the trick if jl_cmder doesn't work.I got it first when it came out, or just a few days after, and it was fine. One night I dropped it and some water got in and set off the water sticker inside, but like I said it worked fine nothing happened to it. On the battery, the white sticker with the red line is completely faded to almost just a white sticker?? Is this sticker a heat sensitive one?

View 4 Replies View Relatedi just noticed that my phone isn't ringing anymore. only vibrating. after checking it i realized that all of my sounds have stopped working including ringer,alerts,notifications,speakerphone, video sounds, etc.i'm using a 9630 tour running v.5.0.0.591 on vzw. i've searched the forums but haven't had any luck finding the issue unless it is a 5.0 os issue. i updated to 5.0 when vzw pushed it a few weeks ago and the sounds were still working afterward. the last time i can remember hearing sounds was on sunday when i was watching a Internet vid.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a BB Tour 9630 (Verizon) and have an issue with the hyperlinks within the browser sometimes not working. My cursor recognizes that it is over a link and switches to the "hand" indicator however, When I click the trackball to select nothing happens. If I scroll up or down on the page I can sometimes then go back to the link and it will work and they sometimes even work the first time. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to the problem at all. I am sure that it isn't my trackball or sensitivity settings as it functions perfectly in all other areas outside of the browser. I have tried using the Firefox browser instead of BB, I have wiped the phone, rebooted several times and Verizon even replaced the phone for me for this issue. Nothing has helped. I have had two other Tours prior to these last two that did not exibit this problem. Since I am seeing this on another handset I suspect it could be a software issue or possibly related to an app. I currently have 11 apps loaded (NBC, Hockey News, Buzz Me, BerryTourch, Google Maps, Weather Bug, Fidelity Online, The Weather Channel, PHH (Fleet Vehicle), ScoreMobile, and XM / Sirius Radio) and I am running OS v5.0.0.591. Anyone know of any issues with the software or app related causes for this? Anybody else even seen this?

I'm on a amtrak and won't be home until at least 10 am and it will be too late. My bbm works, my internet works even text but this damn email is acting up.If anyone knows how to fix this pls share the word, I'm in a jam.I have a sprint tour btw, I just spent 2 hrs typing this doc and can't even email it.
View 5 Replies View RelatedBlackberry Tour keeps giving me error that password for my email is wrong I'm having the problem now with my hotmail email on my BB since yesterday. I've tried to remove my battery, I've entered it like 30 +times, I even deleted the email from my phone. Now I can't add it back, it keeps saying that it's an invalid password and it can't validate, and to contact hotmail.com. I even changed my password on hotmail.com, I just logged into my hotmail on the actual computer with the correct same password, the same one that my BB won't take. When I put in my password on the email setup page it says, "Processing, please wait..." Then I get this error, "Invalid email address or password. Verify your email address and password. If the error persist, contact hotmail.com. " I have other email accounts on my phone that are working just fine.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've developed a problem with my 9630 (carrier: Sprint) recently. I won't receive emails on it for quite a while, but once I open my Internet browser, all of the emails I received since the last time I opened it will come through at once. If I check my messages, they're all listed as coming through at the same time, but inside the email, they're datestamped at the actual time they were sent.
Any ideas as to what it could be? I haven't changed any settings recently, the problem started independent of anything else, from what I can tell. It seems like a problem with my phone not checking for new emails until it uses data services (internet browser).
So, I've had my Tour for around 8 to 9 months now. its worked pretty well overall. I put it in a Seidio innocase right when I got it and got the matching dock so I can charge it in the case.About 2 weeks ago, it just wouldn't charge on the dock anymore. I can plug it in, and it charges fine.Noone else I know has a Tour so I can't see if theirs will charge on my dock. I can only say that the dock hasn't left my end table in months, hasn't been dropped, and likely isn't the issue.Has anyone else had this happen on the Tour?I'm less than 1 yr with the Tour, but I've NEVER bought the insurance through Verizon. Do, I have ANY recourse here?I believe the last time I investigated the coverage, I understood that there was nearly no reason to have insurance becasue the phone has a year warranty from the manuf, but I must go through Verizon to do anything.I wanna have my ducks in a row before going forward.I also bought the phone on my Amex bluecash which extends my warranties up to an additional year, so if I can find documentation that the phone has a year warranty with RIM, then in another couple months I can make a claim on my AMEX, of course they would only cover what I paid for it which I believe was 100, or maybe 150 as far my card charges show.Not sure which way to go with this.If there is something I can take apart and fix inside, I'm not against attempting that but I dunno what it could be.

B. don't use their native browser to click on the link much to notice?For me, it takes 3 to 4 attempts to click on a link to work and using a third party browser isn't an option for me with a 5.0 OS since opera mini 4.2 version does not work and the 5.0 version sucks with scrolling. Bolt browser is not that great for me either.

But it came to me that it could be my BlackBerry. It shows the other ip address not coming from a browser but from IMAP. I don't know what IMAP is. Is that the push email for blackberry? I went to whatsmyipaddress.com and my blackberry ip address was NOT the ip address it shows in IMAP on my gmail account. But I hear that blackberries use more than one IP address. So can you tell me, is IMAP pushed email? I haven't used the gmail app in a long time. Only my regular blackberry email. I need to know asap because if someone is in my account I'm going to have to change my password.

My phone loads up and:
I get an old background I've never used
I cannot make a call
I cannot open my email
I cannot open my text
I cannot open my voicemail
I cannot open my browser
All attempts to do so freeze my phone and result in the unhappy "App Error 523" with the only option to reset.
It gets better...
Battery Pulls do nothing.
All attempts to connect to my PC result in the unhappy error.
All attempts to do a diagnosis result in the unhappy error.
I really have no idea what to do and all technical support from blackberry leads to dead ends and no result.
Pioneer Tour 9630 I cannot get into the phone for any OS Version, I assume it is relatively current as the phone is less than two months old.
A battery pull did not fix the issue
The apps I loaded were google earth, a GPS Navigation system, ESPN, and weather.
All my phone will do is show a white screen with Error 503 Reset. I have tried taking the battery out and that did not work. All it get is a white screen with a little timer in the middle for 3 or 4 minutes.
It will not connect or do anything with the desktop manager. I have tried the launcher to get it connected, but to no avail.
When trying to sync Outlook calendar with blackberry an error message appears: 0x80040fb3.
