I connected my BB 9300 Curve to my PC earlier this morning and it told me about this 6.0.0.668 update. So I updated my BB to that version, but now if I want to reboot the phone it keeps showing the 'white screen of death' until I do a battery pull to successfully reboot the phone.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was having issues with my trackpad -- and this thread said to do a clean reload. So I did, and left it going overnight. When I came back to it in the morning, it said it couldn't connect to the device, and that it might require a password.
I don't have a password set, so I clicked retry. I got the same message an hour later. The progress bar looks like it has about 80% left to go.
The phone has been reset to factory defalt, so I'm worried I've lost all my files. I did a few backups before staring, but I have no idea how to restore it myself, and if I should interupt the process.
I downloaded an update and when it asked to reboot the device it just keeps rebooting. It gets to the end and starts over.

It has been doing it for 8 hours today. It was doing it last night as well, I finally got it to turn on after 3 hours. But today it hasn't. I have tried connecting it to my computer. It says it can't connect because the battery is dead or it is resetting, which both are not true. I have tried pulling the battery numerous times, nothing helps. I took the matter to AT&T. They don't know what is going on either. The phone is about a year and 4 months old and its up to date.

Everything's been working spectacularly until today.This morning I changed the security settings for the AT&T Live TV app and the Pandora app. It then asked for a reboot, which I allowed.
