BB Torch :: Wallpaper Always Resets To Default After Reboot

I have a Torch 9860 with the following versions:7.0 Bundle 1465 (v7.0.0.296, Platform 5.0.0.496)Branding Version:1.0.107.691yEverytime I reboot the phone, whether by battery pull, using reboot apps, or when App World says I need a restart after installing/deleting an app, the wallpaper changes back to the factory default.My personal wallpaper is in an SD card that I used on a Bold 9900. But this wallpaper reset never happened on the Bold.My phone is unlocked.I tried updating the software through OTA or with desktop manager, but I am told there are currently no updates available

Ever since today my wallpaper resets after every reboot. I have pulled the battery, I have reset the unit and nothing works.

When I took my BlackBerry Curve 2 (8530) off the charger and turned it on this morning, for some reason it reset at the 51% mark during the security software verification. I'm worried that it somehow contracted a virus, or the phone's security software has been compromised. Is there any way to wipe the handset without the phone being powered on 100% (via the keypad or something)? The phone is under 3 months old and should be covered by the manufacturer's warranty - but until I get this fixed, I have no phone to use.

When I reboot my phone, the volume sets itself to 20/30. I set it to 30/30 and reboot, it goes back to 20/30.
BTW, my phone has rebooted itself about 5 times since I got it on Friday.

Each time I sync my 5800 NAM Xpressmusic with Ovi Suite, it resets all ringtones for either groups or individuals. I am not synchronizing all items. I am only synchronizing Contacts, Messaging, Calendar and Notes.

I just noticed this happen while I was trying to swipe the homescreen lock while the phone was in the middle of rotating from portrait to landscape, but my background reset itself to the default background while I was trying to do this. This only seems to be an issue for the "non blur" launcher. I have never encountered this using a third party launcher.

I was loving the phone tll the screen started to freeze black during call. I tried all the buttons with no joy and the screen remained black after call. I had to remove the battery to reboot, this reset my time and date to 1980!
I've got to try using my phone for work today, old spare being repaired. I can't even hang up a call.

one of the first things I did when I was setting up my new Nokia X6 was to delete all the factory images. One of which I think was being used as the Homescreen Wallpaper. I was playing last night and tried a Photo as Wallpaper but the fit is Stretched to whole screen and I can't see how to change it. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get the Default back on or even where I could download the default from on the web.

I just got the new OS 5.0 for my 8900. I also got a new theme. I changed my wallpaper, but now I want to change it back to the default for the theme. Has anyone figured out a way to do this? know in the OS 4.6, there was an option when you go to your media files that said "reset default home screen" or something like that. But I do not see that on the 5.0 software.

I decided to replace the default wallpaper with something more appealing and so took a picture with the phone's camera and set it as the wallpaper. Later on, when I came to use the phone again I found it had reverted to the default wallpaper. The phone had not been switched off meantime. I reset the wallpaper again and, again, later on, I found it had reverted again. I store my camera images on the memory card (Sandisk 8GB) and have had no problems with any other data stored on the card. However, just in case the phone was having sporadic problems not being able instantly to read the card and so thinking it wasn't there, I copied the image to the phone's memory. I'm now waiting to see if it happens again. I can't upgrade the software to the latest release (R12) as I am on Tesco Mobile and their latest customised version of S60 is still based on R11.

Happens now at least once a day. I open the phone and there is the old red wallpaper in place of my chosen image.
Yesterday it would not let me change it back. I'd do the wallpaper selection routine and pick one of the other stock images, say set wallpaper and when I'm done the old red is still there. Then all of a sudden a few hours later it decides to let me change the image.

I downloaded the Blackberry Desktop Manager to be able to transfer my pictures from my PC which I did have success in doing. I've resetted my phone a couple of times because the home screen display is on top of my wallpaper or a picture that I am using as wallpaper. I've tried different ways to remove or change the appearance of the screen but nothing works, have of my picture is hiding behind a darker screen that I believe is the default screen for my blackberry. I would like removing the dark screen from my blackberry and only display the picture that I choose.

I just received a brand new Torch 9810. I want to use a picture that is on my media card as the wallpaper. I have followed the prompts in the device and come up an error that states: java.lang.NullPointer Exception. The background subsequently turns black. How do I get it to display the picture. I have never had a problem with any other Blackberry device in this regard.
