Jul 18, 2012I've just bought my RAZR and I'm struggling to set the wallpaper I want. To start with, I'm a bit disappointed that I can't have a separate lock-screen wallpaper, but that's not the end of the world.
On previous Android devices I've always been able to choose a picture then when setting it as a wallpaper, there has always been the option to crop it to the size / area you want. I can't work out how to do this, is it possible?
The built-in picture viewer doesn't seem to allow any rotation / zooming and then saving either. The pre-loaded "My Gallery" app doesn't find all the pictures on my device either. Again, on previous devices all images from all storage areas have automatically appeared in the gallery.
I also can't find the directory where the wallpapers are stored

I have followed the prompts in the device and come up an error that states: java.lang.NullPointer Exception. The background subsequently turns black. How do I get it to display the picture. I have never had a problem with any other Blackberry device in this regard.

BB Torch 9800 Smartphone :: Wallpaper Wont Stay On Home Screen After Battery Pull
Aug 23, 2010I am really starting to get annoyed with this phone!!My wallpaper will not stay onto my home screen after a battery pull or a software reset!!! I don't get it! This is not new in terms of programming! What is the problem?? Is there a fix for this or am I stuck setting my wallpaper everytime i reset my phone?? C'mon RIM! This is a ridiculous problem that should of been fix before bringing the phone out! same thing for the 5 - 10 sec freeze after you enter your security password to unlock the phone! As well as the slow processing of cpu for certain activities! I'm sticking with this phone for now but i do not have a great feeling for this phone seriously!

Jun 26, 2011I ve been using BB Torch for about 6 mths now. Got no trouble for the first couple of months, but this past 1-2 months, my family couldn't send any pictures through blackberry messenger anymore. We live quite in different part of countries, and always contact each other by sending photos through BBM. They tried to send from different kinds of Blackberry phone (torch, curve, bold, etc), but it just not working. It said that when they try to send the pictures, my Blackberry replied " ...was unable to save thw file" (either its thw or the). So, now every time we want to send a photo, we will put it in profile pict. It's getting frustrating now!! Anyway, I'm not very good at technology, so I don't know what I should do.
