BB Torch :: Battery Icon On Wallpaper?
Oct 24, 2012I have a battery icon on my wallpaper/homescreen showing me my battery life. It is on the same bar that you receive notification of bbm's or emails etc. how i can delete this icon?

BB Torch 9800 Smartphone :: Wallpaper Wont Stay On Home Screen After Battery Pull
Aug 23, 2010I am really starting to get annoyed with this phone!!My wallpaper will not stay onto my home screen after a battery pull or a software reset!!! I don't get it! This is not new in terms of programming! What is the problem?? Is there a fix for this or am I stuck setting my wallpaper everytime i reset my phone?? C'mon RIM! This is a ridiculous problem that should of been fix before bringing the phone out! same thing for the 5 - 10 sec freeze after you enter your security password to unlock the phone! As well as the slow processing of cpu for certain activities! I'm sticking with this phone for now but i do not have a great feeling for this phone seriously!

Dec 30, 2010I had an issue with my Torch 9800 smartphone, my phone booted and show a battery Icon with 2red lines across it. I have tried to wipe the OS with BBSAK 1.8.0, 1.8.2, 1.9.2 , JL_CMDR and Java Loader, none of this work for me, as they all fail to connect to my device. BBSAK could not detect my device. But BB desktop Manager can connect, detect and recongnise my device. When I try to update and reload the OS with DM and BB application loader, I get stuck up with an error message: "Reconnecting to JVM". My Laptop HP Pavilion dm4 Notebook is running 64-bit / Window 7.

Jan 6, 2011When I plug this unit into any charger (wall or USB), the charging icon shows up (battery with th lightning bolt) shows up and the clock (screen saver) also gets activated as normal, but after 10-15 seconds the chrging indicator goes and it shows as if the unit is not charging.But I know that the handset is getting charged as I can use it easily for a day long as per the normal battery life.So effectively the unit always shows an empty battery icon (Red outlined hollow battery icon always) and the LED always blinks amber. But th ephone works normal except than this.
Also if I do a battery pull out and reinsert it, after boot up the battery shows 100% but the icon and battery level indicators drop back to 1% and empty battery icon within 15-20 mins with the phone continuing it's normal opeartion ith the empty battery icon (down to 1%)This is causing a lot of trouble as I never know what is the actual battery level and poses problem when I do not charge and the battery is actually low The unit is out of warranty and BB guys have refused to repair. I'm using the default theme and have not changes the theme so I can rule out the issues of 3rd party theme icons.

BB Bold 9700 :: AFTER Battery Pull - When Phone Restarts It Goes Back To Original Wallpaper / Track Pad Won't Work
Mar 19, 2010I've come to dread restarting my phone (after deleting an app, to free up space). Every time I pull the battery, it's like playing russian roulette with my phone. When it restarts, it goes back to that original wallpaper that my bb bold2 had, and then the trackpad won't work. Even if I click down once to activate the trackpad, nothing moves on my screen. It almost always ends with me having to do a second battery pull, which is really nerve-wracking. It's like there's some sort of SEVERE lag going on. And if it does begin to work after a battery pull, it takes like 6 minutes to begin working.

Last night, I went to charge my BB after the battery had drained to find on the screen a drained battery icon with a red cross/line through it. I had reloaded the set up on my phone and it still does not work and it seems that the white loading bar under the icon still loads after it has appeared and stops at around 75%.Will a new battery fix this?As I have said, I have reloaded and wiped everything on my phone and I have also tried the 'take out the battery while it's charged, put it back in method', nothing happened.

May 1, 2011I have a bold 9700 with the red x through battery problem. It's not the battery I've tired 3 different batteries, all which were original. It always comes up with the same problem. The LED will turn red when I charge it, then the empty battery with an X through it will be displayed.
I've tried connecting it to Desktop Manager, and it gets recognized just fine, just won't charge at all.

Jul 26, 2011Yesterday my blackberry was on with nearly dead battery, so I plugged in the charger and it shut down and rebooted to a screen with a red line through a battery icon. I assume this means the battery is completely dead but I have tried the battery in another phone and it was fully charged. I have also tried other batteries in my phone which just resulted in the same thing. I also had this problem before and somehow it solved itself within a few hours, but it seems like this time it isn't.
