I would like to change the battery icon in the top right hand corner of the springboard however am not having much luck finding any on cydia (apart from battery control)can anyone recommend any or maybe provide a list of the ones currently available?

View 2 Replies View RelatedUse, themes and apps drain the battery and there are countless threads on why and what.I thought it may be a useful thread if you all posted what theme you used, what apps you have running over and above the standard 5, are you a heavy user and what your hourly battery drain is.Your theme will have a name.Your apps running is revealed by holding down your BB button and the 5 apps we all have running all the time are messages, browser, bbm, phone, and home.Your use is subjective - but let's say no browsing and answering a few bbm, texts and 1-2 calls is light, several hours of browsing, twittering, FBing, and bbming is moderate, and everal hours of calls is heavym.To start I am a moderate user, use precision modifcation theme currently and have remote printer and IM+ running as well as the 5 apps. My drain is 2.1% per hour over night.

I've had my BB Curve for about a year and a half now. Last night, I went to charge my BB after the battery had drained to find on the screen a drained battery icon with a red cross/line through it. I had reloaded the set up on my phone and it still does not work and it seems that the white loading bar under the icon still loads after it has appeared and stops at around 75%.Will a new battery fix this?As I have said, I have reloaded and wiped everything on my phone and I have also tried the 'take out the battery while it's charged, put it back in method', nothing happened.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a bold 9700 with the red x through battery problem. It's not the battery I've tired 3 different batteries, all which were original. It always comes up with the same problem. The LED will turn red when I charge it, then the empty battery with an X through it will be displayed.
I've tried connecting it to Desktop Manager, and it gets recognized just fine, just won't charge at all.
Yesterday my blackberry was on with nearly dead battery, so I plugged in the charger and it shut down and rebooted to a screen with a red line through a battery icon. I assume this means the battery is completely dead but I have tried the battery in another phone and it was fully charged. I have also tried other batteries in my phone which just resulted in the same thing. I also had this problem before and somehow it solved itself within a few hours, but it seems like this time it isn't.

Does this mean that the GPS uses no power outside of the app? There is no GPS power usage indicator in settings > battery to check if this is the case.

The phone is recognsied by SE Companion but when I click on either of the 2 icons for support and media, nothing is installed and a message of "try again" pops up. The battery charging icon does not appear when I try to recharge but the vibration when the on button is pressed appears to suggest that battery has at least some charge

I have tried to wipe the OS with BBSAK 1.8.0, 1.8.2, 1.9.2 , JL_CMDR and Java Loader, none of this work for me, as they all fail to connect to my device. BBSAK could not detect my device. But BB desktop Manager can connect, detect and recongnise my device. When I try to update and reload the OS with DM and BB application loader, I get stuck up with an error message: "Reconnecting to JVM". My Laptop HP Pavilion dm4 Notebook is running 64-bit / Window 7.
