IPhone 5 :: Has Been Charged For At Least 3 Hours Still Showing Low Battery Icon
Dec 5, 2014
My IPhone has been charged for at least 3 hours still showing the low battery icon and not turning on, normally when my phone is in low battery it will automatically pop up the apple icon but now it's not turning on ....
I have iphone 5 ,my battery indicator doesn't get working, when I am charging my iphone it says 4% charging in lock screen and my battery indicator at red level.
And I have charged for more than 2 hours, but the indicator and percentage are still in the same level. But my phone has been charged, since I can use my phone for nearly 1 and half day with that same level. If I restart my phone ,the indicator and percentage are changed .I am weird with this condition.
Because I don't know when will my iphone goes down.
I just got my iphone 6 plus (ios 8.0.2) yesterday and start to charge on 11pm until the next day morning 7am. But i found that the battery was 100% but never go to fully charged. Then i just leave it there for another 2 more hours to charge. But the result remain the same (battery 100% with the little lightning bolt symbol beside it). May i know is it some hardware problem or anything else i need to do to make it 100% fully charged? I've off the wifi as well as the cellular too.Â

I have a BB Curve 8302. Yesterday the battery depleted unusually fast (with in about 2-3 hrs with hardly any use). I put it on the charger for about 3hrs. Still showed the battery symbol (top left) as dead. And the words low battery below the clock. I left it charge over night. Still same thing. I put the battery into a friends 8320 & it showed fully charged no problem at all. I can access the phone if I have it plugged into the computer or charger. But the moment I disconnect it says something along the lines of "battery drained powering down". And it turns off my phone. So I have discovered there wasn't anything wrong with the battery. So is there something wrong with the phone? Or is there something wrong with the firmware? Even when I go to the wrench Icon & check battery level from there, it say 0% for charged. What can I do?
So today my Nokia Lumia Icon (Still on 8.0) had the "4 hour bug." This is where the phone gets quite hot and the battery lasts less than 4 hours on idle.
What was interesting to me, though, was after my battery died and I tried charging it, it'd get stuck in a loop.
1)Battery Icon with Red Line showing "Charging." 2)Vibrate 3)Nokia Logo 4)Repeat every 5-10 seconds.
Doing a Soft Reset fixed it (Volume Down + Power for 15 seconds) but I'm still wondering if there's been anything from Nokia or Microsoft about this issue other than "We are aware of it." It's been 10 months since this issue arrived on older devices, and it seems to be a Nokia-wide issue.
My iphone 4s battery was dead, so I replaced a battery bought over internet. Now when I charge the phone ( using usb cable plugged to the power outlet on the wall) on right top corner it displays "battery is charged" (battery icon with a plug) but % of charge remains at 5%.
I have the iPhone 3GS which has iMessage. The past few days when I go out of the house and without the wifi, I noticed that if another iMessage user sends me a iMessage, i don't get it.I have the cellular data on and the sms option on as well. Today for example, I was receiving and sending out iMessages to one of my contacts and it was working perfectly. However, another contact of mine with iMessage tried sending me at least 3 iMessages and I never received them until hours after. Im not sure why Im able to receive and send iMessages to one contact, but not the other without being connected to the wifi.
My husband's 4s will not power up at all. Battery has charge. Tried to connect to iTunes but it could not "find" the phone. On vacation and nearest apple store is over an hour away.
I am currently using ip4, iOS5.1. The problem I am having now is when my phone is fully charged, it just can't last long. I left my phone idle and without using it, it will automatically turned off. When I turned it on, the battery shown a value (example: 16 %), after a while, it shows higher battery life value (example: 32%). Then after some time, it automatically turned off again. Is this battery problem or software problem?
My phone hasn't backed up in six weeks. It is on Wi-Fi, plugged in, and locked. Data size is around three gigs. It says estimated time 37 hours, or gets stuck on "estimating backup time." It also Will not work manually. I was also unable to upload a five minute movie.
My i-phone wont turn on and I don't know why, it went off all of a sudden even thought the battery was half charged, I've tried holding the power and home buttons to reset it but that hasnt worked, I don't know what else to try?
My iphone 4 battery does not seem to be fully charged. I charged it for whole night, but it stops at about 67%.Will it be solved after replacing the battery? Or could it be other problem?
Info: iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1, It was bought less than 2 years ago
I got my new iphone 4s two days ago and I took my phone off charge this morning at 7.45 and already at 12 its down to 60%. I have turned off location settings, reduced the brightness, turned of push and notifications. And as I whatapp I can literally watch the battery go down. Should I take it to have it looked at, or is that normal apple battery standard?
I have been using my iPhone 4S for a few months and was working perfectly until two days ago I have been noticing battery charge issues. I use my iPhone for calls and emails - I am not a huge user and don't have too many apps on it. THis is the second day in a row when I have been charging my battery twice at night and in the morning when I wake up. I expect the battery will run out today as well before 6 p.m.
So had my N900 for a little over a week now and overall I'm pretty impressed. Great phone, but still very much a work in progress. One of the main issues I have at the moment, other than no turn-by-turn navigation (sorry, had to mention it), is the battery life - or lack of!
On an average weekday I use the phone to send a few texts (no more than 10), scan the news sites (no more then 20-30mins total) and catch up on my RSS feeds (again, no more than 20-30 mins total). I'm not using the media player at all and I may make one or two short calls.
Bottom line is that I'm struggling to get more than 6 hours battery life out of it. I know smart phones are thirsty, but I don't even get to listen to music on my way to or from work! Here's what I've already done to reduce battery consumption:
Removed active widgets (such as ForcaWeather) from desktops and replaced with web shortcuts.Reduced screen brightness to 2 barsDisabled GPS & Network positioningDisabled IMDisabled BluetoothI've heard some mention reducing the amount of active desktops, but I think that kinda defeats the object of having a N900. May as well buy a lesser phone if you need to strip out all the functionality to get though the day. I'd be satisfied with 8-10 hours medium use. At the moment I'm getting around 6 hours at light use - got to be something I'm missing.
I have a jailbroken iPhone4, when i go to bed.. ill charge it, i turn my laptop off when i go to sleep unplug my iPhone which is now at 100%.. i wake up and my iPhone is on 75% or less.. wtf? I don't have winterboard installed.I have activator, bitesms, cyntact, emoji, five icon dock, iconclasm, fiveicondock, ifile, infinifolders, libdisplaystack, lib weather, make it mine, music controls, remove recents, retinawallpapers hd, sbsettings, snaptap, wifisync and 3g unrestrictor.
I am on 4.0.1, i tried to restore it using 4.0.1 firmware i downloaded and it says iPhone unable to restore due to firmware being for inappropriate build or something along those lines.I went for a day out the other week, got 5hrs 30 mins useage with music playback and some internet browsing on 3g, few txts and calls, that can't be right can it?
I kept tracking the problem, the problem persists only in the following case, if cellular data is on with no dataplan registered. If dataplan is activated the problem disappears?
What could be a reason if my battery is draining out in 2 -3 hours from (fully)charging. I have all app. closed when this is happening. Also the phone gets very hot during charging occationally. As per the tech at the Apple store the battery seems good.
since yesterday my battery is running empty within a few hours. I have turned off almost every battery consumer (bluetooth, location services, wifi, push e-mail) but the problem still persists.
So recently I have notice that my iphone 4's battery isn't so great. It is jailbroken but I have jailbroken since the first day the hack was released and only a couple of days ago the battery started to drain really fast.I do have winterboard and activator on my iphone.A couple of days ago my iphone would be around 97% or 96% of over night stand by. This is not right at all. Help is fully appreciated.
I just upgrade my os during the weekend. I can feel the phone is getting hot in my poket just less than the half of the day the battery is drained out.
Since I upgraded to the iOS 5.1 my battery life on the iPhone 4S has been ridiculous. For example, I left my house at 740am with my phone on 100%, I have browsed a little (safari and facebook) for no more than 20-30 mins in total. No apps are not running in the background as I ensure to close apps once i have finished with them. And now at 1400 I am left with 28% battery. i am not due to be at home until 1900.
Have I been unlucky with getting a dodgy iPhone from Orange?? the model is MD242B if that helps. Also, notifications and banners are all turned off except for phone, messages, whatsapp, remainders, calendar. I am careful not to over charge my phone, I do use an app called BatteryDoc to monitor my charging.
I always let my battery go flat before charging to 100% (with no trickle change), i believe this is a normal charge and what BatteryDoc advises i perform a full charge..
I have an iphone 4 with 3G from Verizon. I have had this phone since 4/2012 and was working fine. Battery was lasting up to two + days. All of a sudden yesterday it started getting hot and battery was draining in about 4 to 5 hours. I did a reboot this afternoon and phone is now running cooler but battery is still draining quickly. In the last hour it has drained about 20% and i have not been on the phone. I have turned off all apps.
