View 2 RepliesWhen I asked to download it it said it was already there did I want newest version. Said yes, download seemed to work but no icon or means of accessing it - either before or after the latest download. When the phone was new I may have deleted the icon I suppose ... I've tried Show all. I want to use it now so need to find out where to access it from pdq.

This goes on continuously. I have taken battery out and sd card and it still does the same thing.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi installed the blackberry desktop software from the website . when i tried to initialize it for the first time i got a prompt which asked me to input the device password
now i'm assuming the device password is the same pwd that i use to unlock me device (and its the same pwd that i have to input every time i hook up my blackberry to my laptop)
so i'm entering that very same password but its giving me an incorrect pwd notification.
is there some other pwd that i'm supposed to configure on this ?
I have got an xperia Z3 device and so far everything has been working fine. Since the latest android update however (lollipop), my phone is constantly rebooting itself, when i want to perform a simple restart. I tried the pcc repair tool twice already. it works, but as soon as i want to restart my device, it gets stuck in a reboot loop.

I also tried removing the sim card. It still gets stuck in a reboot loop.

Said it would take the usual hour so I began doing some work while it upgraded. 2hours passed and the bar froze on the main checkup screen 90% of the way yet the phone came on and went through the general functions it always does. couldn't wait another hour---removed cell and began to attempt to get setting back to normal. Everything works except BB Protect. Keeps saying service temp unavailable. Did anyone else have this problem today? Is it really a temp service update or am I gonna have to wipe this thing (again).

So I updated my BB to that version, but now if I want to reboot the phone it keeps showing the 'white screen of death' until I do a battery pull to successfully reboot the phone.
View 3 Replies View RelatedToday I decided to update my non-jailbroken white iPhone 4S through the notification that had been outstanding in the 'Settings' app from iOS 5.1.0 to 5.1.1. After agreeing to the terms and conditions the phone rebooted and displayed the apple logo and a progress bar underneath. I left it as it was but when I came back after 10 minutes it displayed the 'Connect to Itunes' screen. I thought fair enough maybe the actual update has to occur through itunes so I did as it told me. Next thing I knew, my phone was in fact in Recovery mode and required a restore.
I was furious. This meant that all the data on my phone had to be removed and why? no idea. All because of a ridiculous update that had to be done eventually. Before I restored it I searched if any others had been through the same scenario and indeed it was a hot topic but the only appropriate solution was in fact to restore. The iCloud backup was also pointless because about 2 months ago my phone claimed my iCloud backup storage was full so I eventually deleted everything from it but it still showed that it was full so I ignored it thinking that I wouldn't restore the device anytime soon.
So here, now I'm asking for a way to reverse or retrieve all my data? I've still got my contacts, my apps are currently being synced, but all my messages, alarms, photos, music, etc are gone.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI was having issues with my trackpad -- and this thread said to do a clean reload. So I did, and left it going overnight. When I came back to it in the morning, it said it couldn't connect to the device, and that it might require a password.
I don't have a password set, so I clicked retry. I got the same message an hour later. The progress bar looks like it has about 80% left to go.
The phone has been reset to factory defalt, so I'm worried I've lost all my files. I did a few backups before staring, but I have no idea how to restore it myself, and if I should interupt the process.
My torch started to reboot itself very frequently today. I decided to do an update, only finding that during the process it failed. I cleared out the OS (Wipe) and tried to load a new one. But, during the process connecting to JVM, my phone always restarts failing the whole process. I am using desktop manager btw.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy phone is on this weird state now that it freezes and nothing happens, not even the little watch comes out and so I have to reboot it. But when I do, I have to use it non stop doing whatever for about 3 hours or so, not being able to leave it alone because if I do, even for a minute it will freeze all over again and the process will start over. But also, sometimes when I reboot it, it doesn't being to reboot. It just stays with the screen shut off and eventually the little red light would turn on and off but nothing else will happen. I left it in that state for about 10 hours and nothing.Right now it has been frozen for almost an hour, Ive had to reboot it about 25times today and I´m beginning to give up and getting scared for my phone.
