BB Torch :: Lost Device Password - Device 9810 Locked
Sep 12, 2012My daughter has bought today a new Torch 9810. She has entered a new device password. After a few hours she tried to enter her password, but she forgot her password.
After a read of some internet groups, the solution is simple, just type 10 times your password and the BB will restart. I know that all data will be removed, but that is no issue.
Unfortunately the BB will not restart after I retype for then times the wrong password After the reset it starting with a White screen, with a sort of document icon. Within this document icon, appear a lock and cross sign, beneath this icon there is a counter with is repeatedly showing from 0 till 100% and then start over again.
I've tried to disconnect the battery for at least 1 minute, Put in a different sim card, let it run for almost one hour, but nothing seems to work.
BlackBerry :: Torch 9810 Won't Turn On
Feb 22, 2012My Torch was in the process of rebooting to save a deleted program. I had it hooked up to a charger (on the wall, not USB). It crashed twice while booting up, and on the third try the boot-up progress bar stopped 2/3 of the way across the screen and never moved. Then I got a message saying "Error 102, Reload Software." I downloaded Desktop Manager (version 2.3) for my Macbook, but the program wouldn't recognize my BB when it was hooked up with the USB. I tried pulling out the battery, changing USB ports, reinstalling Desktop Manager.

Jan 23, 2012I was so excited to have a Blackberry device and my choice was the Torch 9810 mainly for 3 reasons.
1- The big screen.
2- The touch screen with the sliding keyboard.
3- Latest OS.
As I watched and read so many reviews about it and compared it to the Bold 9900 and the Torch 9860. The reviews for the Torch 9860 were somehow negative, and the sliding keyboard was a win over the Torch 9860. Bold seemed to be a good phone but the bigger screen was again what made me go for the Torch 9810.
For a new Blackberry user like me, I couldn't really figure out much differences between the three phones.
Unfortunately the Torch 9810 is not yet here in Egyptian market and I was about to buy a Bold 9900 till I noticed it would be locked to my carrier and then I changed my mind. I asked a family member to buy the Torch 9810 for me from the UAE and I finally got it one week ago.
BB Torch :: Update Failed "An Error Has Occur When Dowloading Software For Device?
Apr 1, 2012Am trying to update my bb but when the module is been download, it always stop on the way. The report is "An error has occur when dowloading software for your device.lease, check your internet connection or try later, if the problem persist". I have a very good working internet connection. I have tried everything posible but still having the same. The whole module to download is 821 and the module already downloaded is 710.

Oct 25, 2011I have just upgraded from Bold 9000 to Torch 9810. I think BlackBerries are superb but . there are quite a few basic apps I had on my Bold, which show as 'unavailable for this device' in App World when I try and get them for my Torch 9810. A good example is the MobileMoney mobile banking app, and also the NatWest mobile banking app. When I tried to get the BB Feedback App, so I could request BB do something about it, the Feedback App itself was 'unavailable for this device' Is it just because the 9810 is such a new device and BB are working hard to get all the Apps available - or do they just not really care about Apps availability at all ?

Mar 15, 2012My BB Torch 9810 stopped working. Worked with carrier no luck was sent a new phone. I was told that I could go through BB website to have all data wiped from the device. Feb 4, 2012I keep getting an "Error 102 Reload Software for furhter information [URL]" message. There is a Reset button below that and when I press it, it just tries to restart my blackberry. It will load to a certain point and then come back to this Error message. I went to the website it suggests and it tells me to go onto my Blackberry Desktop Manager and reload my software. I tried to do this, but my Desktop Manager and my smart phone will not connect and so I can't reload my software.

Aug 28, 2011My bbm is working perfect, but all my regular texts are out of order. All the texts i hve sent are at the top of the screen, followed by the incoming texts at the bottom of the screen. It reads that every single incoming text is recieved at 1050am, even though my all read sent at the correct time. The time on the phone is correct so I'm sure whats going on. Whenever I click on a mailto: link, my browser starts opening new tabs uncontrollably until I turn off my radio, which will stop the problem with however many tabs are open at the time.
