BB Torch :: Cannot Sync 9810 - Connector Specific Error

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen syncing device (BB storm 1 9500) the device and the computer talk and compare each others records. When I click accept changes I get an error message from Intellisync "Connector specific error" and synchronization stops. I have checked my wife's device (BB storm 1 9500) and this problem does not occur. I use the same USB port, cable, and folder with all the same options. I therefore assume it is a fault with my device.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been able to sync my Torch upto this point without any problem.However, just a couple days ago, I started getting a message saying "Intellisync - Connector Specific Error".it is not syncing with the Outlook data.neither the setting of the Desktop program nor the physics around my computer has changed. It is the same USB cable.I've already installed the program a couple of times and started fresh but it didn't make any difference.

I don't have an enterprise account. I have the latest desktop software (6.1.0.36). Device: BOLD 9900. Should note that I did not have this problem before when syncing. Only started about a month ago. Have different games, news applications such as Bloomberg, Address book cleaner, and battery booster.

There is a Reset button below that and when I press it, it just tries to restart my blackberry. It will load to a certain point and then come back to this Error message. I went to the website it suggests and it tells me to go onto my Blackberry Desktop Manager and reload my software. I tried to do this, but my Desktop Manager and my smart phone will not connect and so I can't reload my software.

All the texts i hve sent are at the top of the screen, followed by the incoming texts at the bottom of the screen. It reads that every single incoming text is recieved at 1050am, even though my all read sent at the correct time. The time on the phone is correct so I'm sure whats going on. I've only had the phone 2 days and its been like this since I got. The phone is a blackberry torch 9810 and I'm with virgin mobile on a 3 year term. Also I'm new to the world of blackberries

Whenever I click on a mailto: link, my browser starts opening new tabs uncontrollably until I turn off my radio, which will stop the problem with however many tabs are open at the time. I haven't found anyone else with the same problem, but it is incredibly annoying.

When I try to touch the word reset - nothing happens. If I press my pad the phone reboots and the same message appears. I am afraid that I will lose all my pictures and info that I have saved on the phone.

I spent £100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error message: "No available message stores". Burrowing into Blackberry's on-line support, it seems the most likely cause is BDM - 5.0.1 - trying to connect to an unsupported version of Outlook. (Article ID KB15564).
The result is no contacts or diary on my expensive new smartphone, which is disappointing beyond belief, since Outlook 2007 etc. seems no longer available.
opying contacts from a Bold 9810 to another 9810.Using the BB Desktop Software I did a full backup of the device (which contained 400+ contacts), then did a full restore on a new 9810, but only 200 contacts were copied over.Next I tried to do a selective restore, but although the 400+ contacts were in the file, it was grayed out and could not be selected. How can I get all the contacts into the new 9810. (Side note: I was able to restore the 400+ contacts to a BB Bold).

I proceeded to sunc up my Contacts using Blackberry Desktop Manager and was presented with an error and a KB article to consult. KB19454-"The <organizer application> database cannot be accessed for synchronization" appears when attempting a synchronization using BlackBerry Desktop Manager 1.0 on a Mac computer
Has anyone experienced this issue and no the solution? Although the KB article references many sync item issues, mine is with contacts. I admit I was a little disappointed to find that out-of-the-box I was unable to sync with Contacts on OS X.
