BB Bold :: Connector Specific Error - 9900 Calendar Sync
Sep 27, 2011
When syncing with BB desktop software, addresses sync fine but Caledar will not. It stops cold stating "Connector Specific Error". And nothing else.Have reset it several times but it does not help.
Keep getting the "connector specific error" when syncing Calendar with the Desktop software (address book, memos and tasks work OK). My wireless syncing I turned off. I don't have an enterprise account. I have the latest desktop software (6.1.0.36). Device: BOLD 9900. Should note that I did not have this problem before when syncing. Only started about a month ago. Have different games, news applications such as Bloomberg, Address book cleaner, and battery booster.
When syncing device (BB storm 1 9500) the device and the computer talk and compare each others records. When I click accept changes I get an error message from Intellisync "Connector specific error" and synchronization stops. I have checked my wife's device (BB storm 1 9500) and this problem does not occur. I use the same USB port, cable, and folder with all the same options. I therefore assume it is a fault with my device.
I recently upgraded from Bold 9000 to a 9700. Never had problems with syncs. On first synq with new one, I had no probs either, however two days ago I started receiving this message: Connector Specific Error.
I have a Blackberry Curve 8530 tying to sync up the out book with Outlook 2007 with Blackberry Desktop Manager Version 5.01.28 and i am getting the following error during the sync:Connector Specific Error.I have search the forums, and I have tried a host of items that does not seem to be working Was working, but just recently stopped. I have re-installed the Desktop Mgr, but that did not work either.
I am trying to sync work calendars with multiple Blackberry bold 9900's. I have the blackberry desktop manager v 7.1 and I haven't made it passed the "configure" button not being usable. What I'm going for here is sharing my outlook calendar with everyone that needs it on their phones, then syncing this specific calendar to be viewable via their blackberry- so that when I make changes or add jobs they are able to see them. I connected the blackberry to the desktop... I clicked organizer... I went to click configure..... It's a ghost button. How do I make this button interactive again??
I've been able to sync my Torch upto this point without any problem. However, just a couple days ago, I started getting a message saying "Intellisync - Connector Specific Error".it is not syncing with the Outlook data.neither the setting of the Desktop program nor the physics around my computer has changed. It is the same USB cable.I've already installed the program a couple of times and started fresh but it didn't make any difference.
Just upgraded to latest OS. Now BB calendar does not update in Outlook. (although outlook does update on BB).also get error message "Connector specific error"
Did a software update this morning on my Bold 9900. When I went to Sync, I received a Synchronization Error message as it was synching the calendar. There was no number only an appointment date and event which does not exist in either Outlook 2010 or the Blackberry calendar. Upon receiving the error message, the synch stops. I did a replace all calendar events from the computer to the device, which went fine. But the problem was not resolved. I deleted all calendar events from the device, then did a replace all calendar events from the computer to the device, but that did not solve the problem.
Blackberry 9630 Desktop Manager 4.7 Ms Outlook 2003 Win XP Pro This is a clean install and syncing address book and contacts works fine. Syncing the calendar fails every time on entry 597 of 616. Why is it failing on this one specific entry and which one in my calendar is it? Also, what was the last Desktop Manager software version that included the Redirector?
i've got a brand new bold 9900, recently upgraded to the latest OS7 version. However when trying to sync by BBerry Desktop Software it starts ok but suddenly pops "error trying to open the device data base", then jumps to the next screen and finishes the whole process.
I realized that TASKS app doesn't work on my device. It prompts the error "Uncaught exception: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException".
When will Blackberry Desktop Manager be able to sync with MS Outlook 2010? I spent £100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error message: "No available message stores". Burrowing into Blackberry's on-line support, it seems the most likely cause is BDM - 5.0.1 - trying to connect to an unsupported version of Outlook. (Article ID KB15564).
The result is no contacts or diary on my expensive new smartphone, which is disappointing beyond belief, since Outlook 2007 etc. seems no longer available.
Not sure what is happening and I am no Outlook expert but doing a sync using the DW with Outlook and all of the organizer data moves except the majority of the calendar data. Only 6-8 items from my 9700 calendar are moved to Outlook. It is like it does not "see" the others.Anyone got any insight on this?
After one week, I think I got my Bold under control, but something still bothers me:I have my calendar set up to display my agenda when I open it. When I want to enter a new event, I open the menu, navigate to Go to date, click on it, the slider with day, month, date, year appears, I set to the date I want to go to and press the pad. It takes me NOT to the date I chose, but to the closest date with an event on it.
Is it because I have it set to display agenda? I"m I using a wong command sequence? Is this program dumb?
installed latest bb desktop software on pc,when syncing my calendar, I set bb to sync with a specific e mail address, why does it always defalt to FACEBOOK calendar and not sync my bb calendar to pc??
Recently I have been unable to sync my Blackberry calendar with my Outlook 2010 calendar. I am getting a message "calendar not installed" when I synch my organizer files. My other organizer files synch okay. I am able to make calendar entries on my device and on Outlook but unable to synch calendars. I tried everything I could think of.
The calendar is not syncing wireless with outlook 2010 calendar, I followed the instructions manual, but the option menu in calendar does not show any wireless sync option (tickmark)!
the only options are showing only the following:
- Calendar Display - Conference calling - Date & Time - Accounts: *email account1 *email account2 *email account3 #Appointment color #display reminder #number of entries
the email account is already defined as the default account for calendar (CICAL)!! My colleauge have 9790 using the same server, and the same setting, and the calendar is sync properly through wireless. I tried sync throug bb Desktop Manager, it worked. I dont have BES, so I set up my Microsoft Exchange email as internet based account. the emails are being sync properly between handheld and the server.
Calender View - I cant seem to change the weekly calender view so I can view the whole day (ie 8:30am - 6:00pm). All I can see is 4-5 hours. D how to change this. how to change the PIN Code?
I have a newly arisen problem where my BB Bold 9650 will synch addresses and other data but fails to complete the synch with calendar. The pop up message from Intellisync says "connector specific error" I have tried reloading the start up disc but no change.
i am attempting to sync by Outlook Calendar with my BB Bold 9900 using BB Desktop Software V. 7.0 Bundle 2406.The address book sync's but the software stalls on my calendar Intellsync error, 'connector specific error'.
I am unable to resolve the sync error 8004fd22. I am using Nokia OVI with latest update with Win XP and Office 2007 MS Outlook to sync between Outlook and my device. All others except the calendar are getting synced. Could some one help please in resolving this issue? All my MS software are updated.
When trying to sync my blackberry 8130 with microsoft office outlook (2003) using desktop manager 5.01 when reading the calendar it crashes with the message above. When going to the PtTrace.log in the intellisync folder on the pc I get the following message:
09:43:54.189: Phase=20, User=31ABF1F6: Reading data from Microsoft Outlook Calendar Fri Feb 19 09:44:37 2010: Error Bad Field Flag in Recur Blob 0x0100.0 at .ms_recur.cpp line 1844
How to find this calendar event so I can delete it?
I have a Bold 9900 and have recently upgraded to Facebook 3.2. I have now lost all my events (birthdays etc) from my calendar (When I am logged into Facebook, the birthdays appear in the calendar and when I log out, they disappear).
Just got the Bold from my employer. When I make calendar entries on my office computer they synch immediately to my Ipad and Iphone. However, I cannot get the same calendar entry to synch with the Bold. Emails and Contacts are not a problem and synch to all "units".
I have just purchased the new blackberry but when i add a new appointment to my calendar and want to invite someone, I can't figure out how to add that contact.
