View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen will Blackberry Desktop Manager be able to sync with MS Outlook 2010? I spent £100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error message: "No available message stores". Burrowing into Blackberry's on-line support, it seems the most likely cause is BDM - 5.0.1 - trying to connect to an unsupported version of Outlook. (Article ID KB15564).
The result is no contacts or diary on my expensive new smartphone, which is disappointing beyond belief, since Outlook 2007 etc. seems no longer available.

I am unable to complete the sync.

View 5 Replies View RelatedWe recently upgraded my wife's Blackberry to a Curve 3G 9330. When we try to sync to Outlook (non-Exchange), we encounter an error with the contacts (address book). The Desktop Software simply indicates an "unknown error" - not particularly facilitate. We've narrowed it down to a potentially bad contact record on the Blackberry, but cannot find a way to delete it. The options menu will not come up on the Blackberry for this one record. We've try to sync the device by overwriting the contacts with new data from Outlook, but still get's the same error message. I cannot find any information on erasing/deleting the complete contact list on the Blackberry.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI purchased and have been happily using b torch 9800 since sometime early this year. It has always synced smoothly through h Outlook with my calendar, contacts, tasks and notes - but no longer. Several weeks ago I installed the new BlackBerry update. Now all I have is a phone and some nice photos and info about appointments I had weeks ago. I admit that I am technologically challenged, but "the tech guy" at work is stumped also. it appears to go through the motions of syncing (connecting to outlook, reviewing contacts, calendar, etc.)but when it announces completion nothing has updated on my bb. Tech guy tried to install the update but couldn't successfully revert to prior version. For now I'm back to writing down my appointments on paper and calling my office when I need the tel number for a recently new client , but that's already old. Apparently I'm not the only one with this bb created problem. I assume bb has a patch or will real soon
