BB Curve :: Unknown Error Message When Trying To Sync Outlook?
Jun 30, 2011
When trying to sync my curve 9300 with outlook contacts & calander through my laptop a box comes up with 'unknown error reported' and stops the sync process.
I've tried rebooting etc but still get the error message
We recently upgraded my wife's Blackberry to a Curve 3G 9330. When we try to sync to Outlook (non-Exchange), we encounter an error with the contacts (address book). The Desktop Software simply indicates an "unknown error" - not particularly facilitate. We've narrowed it down to a potentially bad contact record on the Blackberry, but cannot find a way to delete it. The options menu will not come up on the Blackberry for this one record. We've try to sync the device by overwriting the contacts with new data from Outlook, but still get's the same error message. I cannot find any information on erasing/deleting the complete contact list on the Blackberry.
I am trying to Sync My blackberry 8330 Phone with MS Outlook 2010 Beta. I can not Sync to any part of MS Outlook (Calendar, E-Mail, etc) I always get the same error message "No available Message Stores". Does anyone know what is causing this or how to fix it.
Windows 7 64 bit MS Outlook 2010 Beta 32 bit Default Profile Blackberry OS V5.0 Latest BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
When will Blackberry Desktop Manager be able to sync with MS Outlook 2010? I spent £100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error message: "No available message stores". Burrowing into Blackberry's on-line support, it seems the most likely cause is BDM - 5.0.1 - trying to connect to an unsupported version of Outlook. (Article ID KB15564).
The result is no contacts or diary on my expensive new smartphone, which is disappointing beyond belief, since Outlook 2007 etc. seems no longer available.
I have a Blackbery storm 9530 with software version 5.0.0.328 installed. I am using Windows Vista and trying to sync with Outlook 2007. Prior to a recent upgrade of the DM, I was able to sync my Calendar and Contacts. Now I get Blackberry Desktop Synchronization error "Determining the root configuration of main system" and then a Intellisync error follows displaying "Unknown error reported". I am unable to complete the sync.
Upgraded my Storm 2 9550 to v5.0.0.1015 and desktop software to v6.0.0.43. Media sync's fine. No sync with any Outlook conduits. I receive an Intellisync "unknow error" dialog box and the sync completely shuts down. Can't change any of the configuration settings as well. Receive the same "unknown error".
I upgraded my device softward to the latest version [6.0.0.522]. Now, I get "unknown error" every time i try to configure the organizer data synch. I am on windows vista sp2. it was working fine before the software upgrade. I have restarted my computer and the phone..
I keep trying to sync my callender through the blackberry desktop to outlook callender, its gives me the same message all the time. Unknown error reported.Spent hrs in phone shop today with v helpfull chap, my curve will sync with his laptop, his OS is windows 7 mine is Vista.
I've a problem with the settings of the synchronisation of my calender. I am able to sync 2-ways on contacts - in these settings I am able to choose outlook express & than 2 ways synchronisation. I cannot choose this kind of settings for my calender. I'm using: windows 7 with outlook 2010. I've downloaded the latest version of the Black Berry Desktop manager.
I just bought the blackberry curve 9360 and noticed two strange things. First, when I open the blackberry maps, an "unknown error" message pops up. Secondly, when I do a search, I am unable to scroll across the icons located above the extended search.
Kies 3 always crashes with an "Unknown Error" when trying to sync my Outlook 2007 calendar. Contacts and Tasks sync okay.
I've literally spent hours on the phone with Samsung (lack of) technical support with no resolution. They are in fact blaming Outlook claiming that this "Unknown Error" is an Outlook error and not a Kies 3 error (I doubt that). Their other suggestion is a factory reset on the phone which I don't want to do or to try another PC.
Using Windows 7 Pro, latest updates to Kies 3 and latest firmware updated today on the phone.
I forgot passcode on my iphone5 and tried to restore it through itunes on my PC. However it gave me an error message saying that that my phone could't be restored due to an unknown error. Now my phone does't turn off and it doesn't sync with itunes.
When I try to sync with Outlook 2003 I get the error 'folder is no longer part of the system data source or the folder could not be found' I have spent the morning updating the BB desktop software which took hours even though the phone is straight out of the box, 250mb worth. The email sync tick box is also greyed out but the wireless sync work a dream no probs at all but I would like to get my contacts on there along with email folders and such.
i cannot send or receive calls or texts. this randomly happened i need some support on what to do, i phoned o2 they are useless, ive got full signal and black berry messenger and the browser are working fine?
I recently upgraded computers and now have Outlook 2010 and Windows 7. Haven't been able to sync Curve to Outlook since. Getting message "Microsoft Outlook Connector Error" as title and then "No Available Message Stores".
Not sure what is happening and I am no Outlook expert but doing a sync using the DW with Outlook and all of the organizer data moves except the majority of the calendar data. Only 6-8 items from my 9700 calendar are moved to Outlook. It is like it does not "see" the others.Anyone got any insight on this?
I recently installed PC suite on my PC. I am trying to sync with Outook MS exchange. So far, I have been unable to do so. I receive a "PC Sync was unable to locate your Outlook message store" error message. By searching this board, it appears that this is a fairly common problem. I have never had any nokia products on it prior to my attempts.Connecting via USB (no errrors or problems reported with this).Does anyone have a bonafide solution for this? This really sounds like buggy software to me.
I am using a Nokia E51 and Ovi Suite, both the latest versions, under Windows 7 32 bits. However, some weeks ago, it stopped syncing with Outlook (calendar and contacts). However, it can correctly sync the SMS messages. It starts syncing and stops saying that the phone got disconnected, error 8393f017.The same thing happens with bluetooth and USB cable.
New version will not sync with Outlook 2010,says Outlook is not the default mail client when it is and once you continues it give sync failled message. Also each time I run it I get 250+ error messages in the Windows 7 System event log. Three screen shots of the error and event log entries attached.
I recently upgraded ACT 2005 to ACT 2010, along with getting a new server and firewall. Once the new server and firewall were up and running, I needed a new user profile on my PC. After doing this, I can no longer sync my Blackberry Tour. Desktop Manager recognizes the device, but every time I hit the sync button I get an "unknown error" message.
When i sync my blackberry to outlook all the tasks go into my phone as a time of 0:00 (midnight) Whereas my tasks all have proper times for them set in outlook? I have around 4000 tasks and this is really a major problem !Is there something i am doing or is this an issue that can be fixed?
Any assistance out there on the 2010 MS OFFICE PRO - - upgraded from 2003 and having difficulties sync-ing the device. "Got a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error - - No Available Message Stores" Read a few post(s) and it appears that 2010 Office Pro was not yet tested when during Beta period... Does anyone have any fix for this problem..
about a week ago, an additional nes message icon appeared at the top of the screen. It looks like a new message icon, gold and slanted slightly to the right. the number 1 next to it. Right now it is to the left of my regular message icon although I have seen it on the right too. I cleared both of my message lists and the icon is still there. I don't have any messages in facebook or twitter.I don't know how to find out what this icon represents or how to get to its list.
