BB Curve :: 9360 - When Open The Maps, An "unknown Error" Message Pops Up?
Nov 14, 2011
I just bought the blackberry curve 9360 and noticed two strange things. First, when I open the blackberry maps, an "unknown error" message pops up. Secondly, when I do a search, I am unable to scroll across the icons located above the extended search.
Hi. Last night I upgraded a new facebook on my curve 9360 and it gives me my notifications but the news feed will not show. Says unknown error. I've done every thing and I can not get into my bb app world to fix any thing says ' there is an issue with current session. Please log in to continue( error id: 30702). also I try to go to my world to log in and the same message pops up.
an unusual icon has appeared on my screen, anyone know how to get rid of it or what it is?! its a blue square with white dots in it and a red start in top corner of the blue square. it has a number one beside it. never seen this before, its not a facebook notification from what i can ascertain
i've got a brand new bold 9900, recently upgraded to the latest OS7 version. However when trying to sync by BBerry Desktop Software it starts ok but suddenly pops "error trying to open the device data base", then jumps to the next screen and finishes the whole process.
I realized that TASKS app doesn't work on my device. It prompts the error "Uncaught exception: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException".
When trying to sync my curve 9300 with outlook contacts & calander through my laptop a box comes up with 'unknown error reported' and stops the sync process.
I've tried rebooting etc but still get the error message
When I try to update an app I type my apple ID password and a box pops up with "Unknown error." but I can still log into my Apple ID elsewhere, so I know the password is right.
In the extended search I found the MAPS icon, but it gives me the message "unknown error"a) is it possible to solve that problemb) is it possible to publish the icon in the application group
I have a new Curve 9360 and since i updated my software, the BBM icon on the desktop will not open the BBM menu with contacts etc on. I can receive and send messages. When they appear but can't get my contacts and add new etc.
First, the application isn't readily available in the main Menu. I must execute an extended Search to be able to access it. Does this mean my device does not support BB Maps? I have one of the new Curve 9360 OS 7.0.0 (unblocked, Movistar). I am currently in Venezuela.I normally reside in Germany and I would like to use it there. I could understand if the app does not work well in South America, but I would like to rest in mind that it'll work in Germany once I set it up there.
i cannot send or receive calls or texts. this randomly happened i need some support on what to do, i phoned o2 they are useless, ive got full signal and black berry messenger and the browser are working fine?
I have a BB curve 9360 version 7.1 bundle 1133. My BB maps aren't working. Every time i open them, i get the message (in italian) about an unknown error and, if I continue, I see only grey and white checks. I would like to download again the BB maps on my smartphone but I am not able to find the way to do that. I went to [URL] but I am not able to find the way to download the BB maps.
I am seeking support on two things: 1) Why I always get this unknown error when I try to look at my maps? 2) How to download again the maps application?
The login on Blackberry ID refuses to let me login. Every time I enter my email and password, a message pops up saying "Unable to login to your BlackBerry ID account"
I recently got a brand new Blackberry Curve 9360 on the 15th May. The first day it was working perfectly but now its came up with a white screen saying "JVM Error 545" and underneath that it says "RESET" but when I do reset my phone it does exactly the same thing.
I have a problem that's been bugging me for the past 3 weeks. I have been searching for the way to solve this error with my Berry on the net but to no avail. I bought an app at the BB App World a few weeks ago but I cant open the application. When I try to open it, I got screen message saying - Uncaught exception: Source y offset must be greater than 0. I tried reinstalling the app, battery pulls and even emailing the customer service team who made the app but still no answer from them. I have no problems whatsoever if its a free app but I actually bought the app for USD 2.00. Its not much but its still money.
The details of my Berry are as follows:
Model: 9360 Carrier: Celcom OS: 7.1 Bundle 1647
The details of the app that I downloaded:
App name: Islamic Prayer Times By: Parachute Mobile Version: 1.5
just got a new Curve 9360. The default text message display shows all messages i.e. if I've sent a text most recently that is what I see at the top. What I want it to do is show the SMS Inbox (which I can navigate to via the folder options, but I can't find a way to set it as a default). Can't work out how to do it either on the device or when connected to the PC.
I can't access my Facebook + Twitter apps. Everytime I try to log in on Twitter, it says "BWP Security Token Retrieval Error" and "We cannot reach the Facebook server at this time. Please try again later. (100) from Facebook.
about a week ago, an additional nes message icon appeared at the top of the screen. It looks like a new message icon, gold and slanted slightly to the right. the number 1 next to it. Right now it is to the left of my regular message icon although I have seen it on the right too. I cleared both of my message lists and the icon is still there. I don't have any messages in facebook or twitter.I don't know how to find out what this icon represents or how to get to its list.
when I go onto ovi maps I always get unable to connect please try again error message. This has been going on for 2 weeks now but it only effects the maps and store but I can get on every thing else.
I'm hoping that you could have me resolve this annoying issue. For the past week or so, I can't seem to download anything using the device browser. Regardless of the size of the file, or type, such as .mp3 or .exe for example - it downloads a few hundred KB's then says error. I can, however download from app world and I can browse. The device is a Curve 9360.I'm on an EDGE coverage using BIS.I've cleared browser memory, did a reset by pulling out the battery, deleted browser service books and re-registered on the network, even went as far as to do a full security wipe
this is my second 9360 with the same problem alway searching for network got this replacement from blackberry a few weeks ago after the other one did the same thing and now same problem again does any one know whats causing this
I recently made the switch from iPhone to a galaxy S5. I have a macbook pro that of course has my music in iTunes. I recently tried downloading the android file transfer but whenever it would try to open on the mac it told me it could not connect to my device and to try to restart it or reconnect it. Nothing I did has made a difference. The computer just won't connect to the phone it seems. Both my S5 and mac have the latest versions possible updated so that's not an issue. I'd really like to get more of my music on my S5 other than what I put on there right when I got the phone using SmartSwitch.
I am using BB Desktop Manager 6.2010 with bb curve running 5.0.0.2030. I am attempting to sync outlook 2007 on my PC running XP. Every time the sync begins I get an unknown error and the sync shuts down.
I am unable to receive text messages but able to send, when sending a text message to myself (for testing purposes) I get a red cross error message stating "unknown subscriber"
