When I am in the messaging app and try to update my linkedin account, I get the orange traingle error, telling me that it is "unable to connect to Linkedin" I have re-entered the password, and get the same results. It appears that my linkedin contacts are working and syncing properly. I don't want to remove the account and then add it back as it removes the joinded contacts.
View 1 RepliesI used the Moto software to back up my phone yesterday, and since then it won't connect to wi-fi. It finds the signal, starts looking for an IP address, then stips the process. I've tried to turn off 3G and 4G, together and in combinations, updated PRL and profile, but to no avail. Even rebooted the router to make sure something wasn't wrong with it and other devices in the house are working just fine. Not sure if this has anything to do with the backup, but it's a problem I've never had before.

the bluetooth will not connect with my 2010 Escalade or my 2008 E Class MBZ. It connects to my old earpiece but not the cars. No previous problems connecting with my BB or Samsung phones.
I tried to add LinkedIn account through settings>>accounts>>add account, but there isn't icon for LinkedIn.

However, it will not connect to my new Photon 4G.I've made sure every other device to which it was ever connected has bluetooth turned off I've made sure the battery on both devides are fully charged I've made sure the Photon's bluetooth is on working I've connected the Photo to my car's bluetooth system to make sure it can connect to something I've connected my headset with my laptop to make sure it can connect to something I've turned them both on and off both devices I've searched and searched everywhere.When I go to bluetooth settings on the Photon and press "scan for devices", the headset never shows up as an available device When I power on the headset it flashes blue for a second and then slowly flashes red, but is never available to connect to the phone?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI spoke to Motorola today. They said it is a sim card issue. I took the phone into the Sprint store they told me I had to call the International department. I called and I was told an e-ticket had to be set up for me to take the phone back to the store and they have to trouble shoot it before they will send out a new phone. WTHeck this is getting ridiculous. This has been going on since September when I got the phone. And now I get this message during calls and it drops the call and I can't place the call again until the error resolves itself.

I found this out within 5 minutes of installing the update.I have not played with the phone enough to find out if it broke anything else. I press the buttons, or icons on the screen to turn these on, and they do nothing. I can hold on the icon and it will allow you to move them though

I went to Applications>Development> Unchecked Stay Awake and it keeps becomming checked everytime I reinstert it onto the Motorola Dock! So annoying, I made sure the phone is up to date and still this bug exists. Anyone know of a fix or work around?
View 10 Replies View RelatedWhen I am trying to sync music from Itunes to my Photon through the Motorola Media Link software I get a error message after all the music files have transfered. The message says that the MLL has stopped working. None of the music ends up on the phone.
I have updated the Motorla Media software and as far as I know my phone is up to date.
I am able to access the internet, but I cannot download anything from the market... If I connect via a wifi connection, then I can download. My old smart phone HTC HERO, was able to download from anywhere, not connected to a hot spot or wifi... I buy a phone that is supposed to be faster and better, but I'm not seeing it. I have only had the phone for 3 days, and i'm already starting to think I have made a bad decision. We do not have 4G in the area, but even 3G is faster then this phone.

I can view them just fine on my phone, but as soon as I move them over to my computer the images are all invalid and I can't view them anymore. I've only tried with pictures I took with the camera on my phone so I don't know if this applies to downloaded images as well.
I searched around the forum and it seems a couple of people ran into this or something similar to this but I haven't come across a definite solution that doesn't require me to go online with my phone.
I have attempted to register my new Photon Q numerous times, logging out, logging back in, and approaching from several different angles using different "Register" links on different pages, and trying MEID and IMEI.When using MEID HEX the server will check the S/N and reply that my IMEI S/N is in warranty, then several seconds later it will overlay the screen with a complaint from the server:"There was an issue with the serial number you entered or it was blank. Please try again."One can dismiss that complaint and continue with the attempted registration, selecting carrier, MFN, and Primary Device, adding purchase date and clicking submit, but that only take one to abject failure:"There has been an error with your request."Perhaps it is because the Photon Q is so new? Perhaps it is because your registration page has a problem.

I have 4 apps on the very bottom of my home screen. When I move between home screens, these icons stay in place.Calculator, maps, iD & a square I touch to open my applications. I am trying to remove/delete the calculator icon but am having trouble doing so.Any other app I can hold, it vibrates & turns red and I just drag it to the trash can. These 4 icons at the bottom of the screen don't.
When I touch the calculator icon, the calculator opens. When I touch and hold the icon for the calculator, it opens a new window that says ADD TO DOCK
and lists programs/apps to add to the dock. No options to remove.
Again, I can not hold it down to drag it to the trash can.
know how I can remove this calc icon? Is this bottom row on my screen something special where apps permanently reside?
When I tap on the camera to launch it, it would quickly flicker as if it were going to open but then immediately just go back to my home screen. "camera unable to initialize" error..I did a reboot and a factory reset it did NOT fix the issue. I am also unable to play any music.

I receive this error regardless of if I try to enter it from the Accounts area or if I attempt to add through Gallery --> Settings--> Quick upload for pictures --> Add account --> Picasa (Gallery)

Anyone having trouble sending mail? I have a POP 3 account with COX San Diego. I can recieve mail but I can NOT send mail. This phone does not have SSL. I tried 587 in the settings along with all of the other info, identical to the other phone ( EVO 4G) and my Outlook setting on my home PC (except for the 587 port) Home pc has 25 there.

When I try to loads pages it will maybe load 1 or 2 pages, then just time out and bring up the message - "unable to connect to internet please try again later,if the problem persists please contact your service provider."I have full coverage at the time when I am trying to load the pages. It happens on most pages I try loading, sometimes they load, sometimes they dont. I used to have to empty the cache memory, and then turn the phone on and off again to get it working again, but now even that doesnt work. Theres no software upgrades available according to my Blackberry Desktop Software.

Ive downloaded apps like readers and a different yahoo app but no luck - still unable to download those attachments. 1> I have tried using both domainusername and just username with no success.
2> Also have tried setting up gmail as corporate account and later changing to the desired account settings as suggested in other forums and it still shows the same error.
3> I have also tried unchecking "verify certificate"
My device is unable to detect any of the Bluetooth Headset. I have tried same with Nokia and Amkette bluetooth. Scanning does not list any of these bluetooth headeset.
