My device is unable to detect any of the Bluetooth Headset. I have tried same with Nokia and Amkette bluetooth. Scanning does not list any of these bluetooth headeset.

I've had a S10-HD headset for about a year and it has worked well with several phones and my laptop. However, it will not connect to my new Photon 4G.I've made sure every other device to which it was ever connected has bluetooth turned off I've made sure the battery on both devides are fully charged I've made sure the Photon's bluetooth is on working I've connected the Photo to my car's bluetooth system to make sure it can connect to something I've connected my headset with my laptop to make sure it can connect to something I've turned them both on and off both devices I've searched and searched everywhere.When I go to bluetooth settings on the Photon and press "scan for devices", the headset never shows up as an available device When I power on the headset it flashes blue for a second and then slowly flashes red, but is never available to connect to the phone?

If not used for a while, the phone will 'time out' and turn itself off.When this happens, I can't figure out how to get the headset to turn it back on, or unlock it, in order to make a call.One press of the 'call' button just brings up the phone's screen where you 'press & hold to unlock. A second press of the call button doesn't do anything.A press and hold of the call button redials the last number.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've run across an issue, not sure if it's since this last Sprint M8 update (3.31.654.2), or if it started a day or two prior, but using my Blueant Q3 Bluetooth headset, the phone's mic only works, not the headset mic. I couldn't figure out why when walking around the room people where saying I was getting very quiet. I re-paired the unit tried a couple of other ones and tested using a voice recording app, to discover the phones mic is only working.... Tested using the wired HK ear bud set that came with it and it uses the wired headset mic.

Unfortunately, when I go to the Zune player or Xbox Live, the sound comes out the speakerphone on the Lumia 800, not the headset. I turned the radio off, but it froze. When I unplug the headset, I'm surprised that my handphone is still playing the radio.
After that, it stops working and this happens.
I already restart, restore and remove the battery. The software is the latest version. However, it worked on my computer, but not my hand phone.
So I'm having a issue with Bluetooth during phone calls. I use a bt headset for most of my phone calls because then that gives me the ability to use the phone. The issue is when I'm doing things on the phone and using my headset people tell me they can't hear me or I cut out really bad. It doesn't do it every time but it happens a lot.
I'm running stock lollipop and on Verizon. I got the phone with 4.4.2 but as soon as I turned it on it got lollipop so not sure if it was a issue before. I have had the phone for 2 months now.
I have done a factory reset after the update to see if that would work...
I had been using Ovi Suite to sync my PC and 5230 and was having no trouble. But I tried connecting today (almost afetr a month's gap) and now the Ovi suite doesn't recognize my mobile. My PC is able to recognize the device but Ovi doesn't. And I've updated the Ovi suite too. Please help...

If I keep the screen on the connection seems fine. I don't see a setting that causes bluetooth to go off when on sleep like WIFI does so what's the problem here and how can I fix it?

The phone reboots itself sometimes when I try to make or receive a phone call (2 or 3 times a day). I know this is happening to other Photon owners and I already tried the factory reset twice. My build # is 4.5.1A-1_SUN-198_6. Does anyone know a fix for that?

My boyfriend bought me a "Stereo Bluetooth Headset" by AudiosynQ I set the device in pairing mode and navigated to the "Add Headset" section under wireless settings but the device kept saying it was unable to find the headset. The same problem is: If the bluetooth headset was closed first(out of power), You can not hear anything when calling or answer a call. And you'll find the button "Use the headset" appears when calling, actually the headset has already disconnect, meantime the loudspeaker becomes dumb.
Even if I closed the bluetooth function of Satio. The problem still exist. Then if You reconnect to the bluetooth headset, You can hear the sound through the bluetooth headset while playing game, music, video. But while calling, nothing could be heard, the loudspeaker becomes dumb again! You have to power off Satio and restart the phone, if you want to use the call function, not only a media player! The strange is if you closed the bluetooth of Satio first, the phone function works well.
Is that I have a pair of Wireless Beats headphones. When I scan for Bluetooth devices on my N5 It can't find my headset. I used my Ipad to search for the headset and that picked it up fine. I could even pick up my Ipad Bluetooth using my N5.. (Also note; I have never connected my headset to N5 before)
What I have tried to fix the problem.
-Reset Bluetooth settings
-Factory restore headset
-Connected headset to another device perfectly
-Changed the N5 Bluetooth name
-Reboot on both devices
-Changed WiFi off
-Changed WiFi frequency
-Tried various "Bluetooth Routing" apps
I see most other people with Android phones can long press the answer button on their bluetooth headset to start the voice dialing on the phone. When I do this, nothing happens. Should I be able to speak my contacts name and have it dial? Or is this option not available on the M8?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've got a blackberry 9000 device that I cant seem to reload. My computer (2 of them) have not been able to detect it through Desktop manager 4.6. Some things I've tried were detecting it with Javaloader's USB wipe, but that didn't work as it would not detect. I've tried two separate batteries, still to no avail.
It seems for some reason this blackberry cannot be detected. The device is relatively new, not used for more than a month. I'd love to get this issue resolved with some help.
it might be a stupid question but my bluetooth headset works fine when making phone calls but doesn't work when playing music.
The phone plays the music fine but when I turn on the headset it sais "phone#1 is connected" but no music in the headset.
