May 5, 2012confirm that the difficulty in pairing these two with each other is that they both have a Master BT protocol and so cannot adopt a Master - Slave relationship? setting the iPhone to a Personal Network for example. I haven't managed to find this on the iPhone 4S, just VPN, Wi-Fi or Data. Or should I just accept that they won't ever communicate via Bluetooth!?

Neither one can see each other even though both bluetooth are on. I am trying to use my IPHONE's 4S, 3G service on my IPAD 2 using bluetooth. A friend of mine has a Droid, we both have unlimited data plans from a long time ago, and my IPAD 2 can bluetooth with his Droid and I'm able to use the internet.

Jul 24, 2010I'm trying to set up bluetooth synchronization for my 8900 now that I am no longer on a BES.I picked up an Asus USB BT-21 bluetooth adapter for my PC, which is apparently based on Broadcom hardware. I'm running Win7 64 bit and installed the Broadcom drivers for the adapter. I followed the instructions here: http://www.blackberry.com /btsc/ search.do? cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB04132&sliceId=1&docTy.Everything works fine up until the point where I go back into Desktop Manager and try to find my 8900. Desktop manager manages to find every other blackberry in my building except for mine. At the bottom of the instructions, it says that a conflicting IT policy might be the cause of this problem.
