I cannot get my iphone 4S to bluetooth with my ipad 2, wifi only.
Neither one can see each other even though both bluetooth are on. I am trying to use my IPHONE's 4S, 3G service on my IPAD 2 using bluetooth. A friend of mine has a Droid, we both have unlimited data plans from a long time ago, and my IPAD 2 can bluetooth with his Droid and I'm able to use the internet.

confirm that the difficulty in pairing these two with each other is that they both have a Master BT protocol and so cannot adopt a Master - Slave relationship? setting the iPhone to a Personal Network for example. I haven't managed to find this on the iPhone 4S, just VPN, Wi-Fi or Data. Or should I just accept that they won't ever communicate via Bluetooth!?

I have a iPhone 4s and just bought a ipad2. They won't pair and I can get android phones to pair with the ipad2 with no problems. I have done a lot of research and doesn't seem to be a fix for it yet. I don't want to jailbreak either items. I have a iPhone 6 (32gb) OS version 8.1.1 and a Jabra BCE-BT350 bluetooth ear piece. For the last month or two every time I make a call using my bluetooth it rings once on my bluetooth then automatically switches over to my iPhone speaker (not loud speaker, just regular). I have to get my iPhone and manually select my bluetooth device as the speaker, which defeats the safety feature of using a bluetooth. I've had this bluetooth for a while now and never had this issue until recently. Not sure its an issue with iPhone 6, OS 8, settings or Jabra.

View 24 Replies View RelatedIf i had the money to buy an iPad id want to put it into my dashboard of my car. That would have been a better idea for apple to market the iPad. That way you can have a music player, gps, maps, watch videos, not sure what else but on a big screen like that in the car would be nice. I think iphone and ipod touch are too small to use in the car. I dont know why apple didnt think of doing this in the first place. Be able to put it and detatch it from the dashboard cuz you wouldnt wanna leave it in the car. Another good thing to use it as would be like an mpc with intua beatmaker app if you make music. It would be way cheaper than buying an mpc. What would be some other good uses for it?

The quality of the calls is great. I just think it's just shows that Ipad soon will have all the missing features everybody is complaining about.
