Xperia Pro/Neo/V/L :: Not Able To Detect Home Wifi?
Mar 15, 2012My new Xperia Neo V is unable to connect to my home adhoc Wifi. In fact, the adhoc network is not even detected on the phone. I've tried reinstalling the phone software but it didn't help. Is there any solution to this issue?
PS: The Android version is 2.3.4 and the build number is 4.0.2.A.0.62

Jun 3, 2012I bought my iPhone last week from a friend, and took it to the AT&T store and it connected to the wifi there. When I brought it home it didn't even detect my network unless I was standing right next to my dad's computer, which is above our router. It will connect in any other area with wifi, just not at home. I have tried restoring it from a recent back up, and as a new phone. I have turned it on and off, I have tried resetting the network settings. Nothing works. I don't the taking it to the genius bar would be much help because my phone is out of warranty and I don't want to pay $200.00.

I tried re-entering my pre-shared key in my laptop just to make sure I don't remember it wrong and it connected fine, it's just the phone that doesn't connect.My laptop says my network is connecting using WPA/WPA2 to connect so does the phone. I rebooted the cable modem and was then able to see and connect to the network with both iPhones and an iPad, but, a few minutes later, was unable to join the network. I have an iMac and a Thinkpad laptop that both connect fine and stay connected. I've tried rebooting the iPhones and forgetting the network, but the problem keeps coming back. I called Comcast to suggest they "change the channel" on their wireless gateway, but they couldn't do it.

Having trouble with connecting to my or my works wifi. It registers both routers and displays the name across at the top of the phone and in wifi settings I have a black square with a white dash line and a green wifi symbol.
I have a Asda pay as you go sim which is fine for the calls text etc but I hearing not so good for the Internet.
I have managed to get the browser going with the Hotspot setting but I'm guessing this isn't using my home wifi as it as slow as a snail and keeps cutting out.
Without Hotspot enabled it tries to use VodaphoneLive and I get the message "unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider"

Mar 14, 2015I have the Xperia Z3, Until recently, my phone was fine. About 3 weeks ago it started disconnecting from my home wifi, this is extremely annoying. It does it when it feels like. Mostly when ive been idle for a bit, but does occur at other times too, in the middle of a written conversation it disconnects.
Things ive tried:
Resetting Router, moving it.
Resetting apps on phone to default.
Forgetting the Wifi connection and re connecting it.
