My new Xperia Neo V is unable to connect to my home adhoc Wifi. In fact, the adhoc network is not even detected on the phone. I've tried reinstalling the phone software but it didn't help. Is there any solution to this issue?
PS: The Android version is 2.3.4 and the build number is 4.0.2.A.0.62
I was normal the other day I used. But yesterday it was unable to detect my home wifi network. It detected other network though.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought my iPhone last week from a friend, and took it to the AT&T store and it connected to the wifi there. When I brought it home it didn't even detect my network unless I was standing right next to my dad's computer, which is above our router. It will connect in any other area with wifi, just not at home. I have tried restoring it from a recent back up, and as a new phone. I have turned it on and off, I have tried resetting the network settings. Nothing works. I don't the taking it to the genius bar would be much help because my phone is out of warranty and I don't want to pay $200.00.

My X10 does not detect any wifi. I tried at my place and my friend's place. The router is working for sure because the wifi is working for my laptop and ipod touch, so pretty sure it's not the router's problem. The phone used to detect wifi no problem, this issue just started this month. I tried reinstalling the software but still couldn't fix it.

It does it when it feels like. Mostly when ive been idle for a bit, but does occur at other times too, in the middle of a written conversation it disconnects.

It detects our home network but when you ask the phone to connect it says' connecting... disconnected'.
I've checked the router settings and the network uses all three interfaces - 802.11g/n/b and encryption is by WPA + WPA2 - so I believe that these are the correct settings for this phone.
I got a X Play for christmas but it can't find my home wi-fi. I upgraded it like 30 minutes ago and nothing.The routes is set to 2.4ghz and 802.11b/g/n.

View 4 Replies View RelatedBefore updated to iOS 5.1 and iTunes 10.6, there was no problem for iTunes to detect my phone in order to perform wifi sync, but after updated to the latest firmware for both platforms, the issue occured. iTunes couldn't detect my iPhone even though both were under same wifi network. I ever sync via wifi before, so I've done those settings. Now when the issue occur, I need to reboot the iPhone, then it works again. The issue happened each day. Very frustrating and unreliable and inconsistance. My Mac iTunes has no problem to detect the iPad2 (OS 5.0). The problem only happen to my iPhone (OS 5.1). No such thing happen before during OS 5.0.

My Lenovo laptop did not connect either until another techy said look at LAN settings. I checked automatically detect settings on the laptop and was connected through to the Internet.I do not see a similar function on the phone and droid. Since I was in Europe at the time, WiFi was better than network data usage ($$$).Is there a setting in the Droid & Xoom?

I've got data traffic, and Wi-Fi ticked and I can see my network on the Wi-Fi Networks list but when I click on it and enter the password beneath Wi-Fi it says "disconnected".What's even weirder is that I managed to connect the phone to the internet the first time I booted it up for five minutes, but since then I haven't been able to recreate that success .
