Mar 20, 2011I use the blackberry 8900. my phone does detect the wifi connection however it tells me to enter a given pin in my router.. what am i supposed to do?

Jun 5, 2014I have an iPhone 5S, I charged it this morning and after that I noticed that it had two problems:1- It detects and connects to wi-fi but has no internet connection (it´s not a problem with the Wi-Fi because it works OK)2- The bottom and the sides of the screen started twinkling, it lookes like the distortions that appear when you touch a plasma screen.Â

BB Curve :: Connected To WIFI But Phone Not Using Connection?
Aug 28, 2011I just bought my first blackberry (Curve 8520). I have connected it to my wifi network. But to get the phone to use it for BIS I have to turn off the mobile network and then turn the mobile network back on. But after a few mins it goes back to using the mobile network for BIS and stops using the wifi and it does not go back to using the wifi until I turn off the mobile network again.

BB Curve :: BIS No Connection Without Wifi
Mar 9, 2011so my next post. i reported some problems previously about my phone about BB app world not working unless its on wi fi as well as facebook and it specifies as something to do with service provider and data plans as problems, which they say everything is alright. as its too late for phone vodafone i thought i would try here first.
everything on my phone is working fine (BB messenger, emails, browsers, texts etc etc) but like i said app world and fb arent. App worlds works perfects whilst using wifi, but as soon as theres no wifi it stops working.
i found out that when i turn the wi fi off on the manage connections part and check the service status, under Blackberry Internet Service it says no connection. and im unsure how to change this. When the wi fi is on it says 'connection: wi fi'. and i was told when i turn this off it should turn to my service provider (vodafone) but it doesnt. so im guessing the main problem is something to do with this.any way to get it working

Nov 22, 2015I'm having a really weird problem with my phone. The wifi connection is super slow on my Nexus6P, but on my macbook it is fine as it should be. I tested on two more phones, one iPhone and my OnePlus one, wifi works fine on both of them.
I tried restarting my phone and nothing, I did a factory reset on my phone and the same problem still happens.
When I did turned of my router for like 2 minutes and then turned it on again, the wifi connection on my nexus6p worked fine for some minutes and then got slower again.

Apr 9, 2012My girlfriend has a BB Curve 9300, it was working all fine on the OS5. Last weekend she asked me if i could update her software, and i did so from the Blackberry Desktop Software and updated to OS6. Everything was working fine until we found out that it only connects to the internet if i use data service, but i dont want to because we have wi-fi at home. When i turn data services and while roaming OFF, and put wi-fi preferred, and when i try to open a web page in the browser it pop ups a window saying "Data Services are disabled. Go to Mobile Network to enable".

Mar 15, 2012Before updated to iOS 5.1 and iTunes 10.6, there was no problem for iTunes to detect my phone in order to perform wifi sync, but after updated to the latest firmware for both platforms, the issue occured. iTunes couldn't detect my iPhone even though both were under same wifi network. I ever sync via wifi before, so I've done those settings. Now when the issue occur, I need to reboot the iPhone, then it works again. The issue happened each day. Very frustrating and unreliable and inconsistance. My Mac iTunes has no problem to detect the iPad2 (OS 5.0). The problem only happen to my iPhone (OS 5.1). No such thing happen before during OS 5.0.

Jun 3, 2012I bought my iPhone last week from a friend, and took it to the AT&T store and it connected to the wifi there. When I brought it home it didn't even detect my network unless I was standing right next to my dad's computer, which is above our router. It will connect in any other area with wifi, just not at home. I have tried restoring it from a recent back up, and as a new phone. I have turned it on and off, I have tried resetting the network settings. Nothing works. I don't the taking it to the genius bar would be much help because my phone is out of warranty and I don't want to pay $200.00.

I have created the WiFi profile on my phone, the connection get established, my phone get an IP address from the router (that is also a DHCP server) but I can't connect to internet. Also, if I try to ping the phone itself or the gateway (that is the router), the ping times out. I can't figure out which is the problem. From al of my devices (PCs, Wii) internet connection whit this router is OK.
