I have a iPhone 6 (32gb) OS version 8.1.1 and a Jabra BCE-BT350 bluetooth ear piece. For the last month or two every time I make a call using my bluetooth it rings once on my bluetooth then automatically switches over to my iPhone speaker (not loud speaker, just regular). I have to get my iPhone and manually select my bluetooth device as the speaker, which defeats the safety feature of using a bluetooth. I've had this bluetooth for a while now and never had this issue until recently. Not sure its an issue with iPhone 6, OS 8, settings or Jabra.

I'm trying to set up bluetooth synchronization for my 8900 now that I am no longer on a BES.I picked up an Asus USB BT-21 bluetooth adapter for my PC, which is apparently based on Broadcom hardware. I'm running Win7 64 bit and installed the Broadcom drivers for the adapter. I followed the instructions here: http://www.blackberry.com /btsc/ search.do? cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB04132&sliceId=1&docTy.Everything works fine up until the point where I go back into Desktop Manager and try to find my 8900. Desktop manager manages to find every other blackberry in my building except for mine. At the bottom of the instructions, it says that a conflicting IT policy might be the cause of this problem. So, I reset to factory defaults to remove any lingering IT policies as per the instructions here: http://www.blackberryforums.com/rim-software/67224-remove-policy.html?highlight=remove+policy Tried to connect again but still no joy in mudsville.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have had a white Z5 Compact for a week and have now noticed that the bottom speaker is much louder than the top, ruining the stereo effect. I am sure it did not come this way out of the box. I didn't notice until after the recent firmware update (32.0.A.6.152), but cannot know whether this is the cause of the problem. I went through the hassle of factory reset and the phone still has the problem. I haven't subjected the phone to any physical trauma at all and will be returning it.Â
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy one month old xperia has a problem, sound volume of bottom speaker is much lower then speaker on the top. Actually i don't remember if it was like that always or happened during my usage. It's so quiet that I need to apply it close to the ear to hear it as much as top speaker.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy phone was working fine until a few days ago. Now, if I try to use the phone to make a call...I hear nothing through the phone. I also cannot answer calls. the only way I can talk on the phone or answer an incoming call is if I use "Speaker" or Bluetooth as the audio source.

I have an iPhone 5 16gb with iOS 8.1.1 that I used last night with my LuguLake Portable Bluetooth Speaker to listen to music. I've used this particular bluetooth speaker for about 3 months.Â
I turned the bluetooth speaker off, like I always do, but the sound did not return to my phone. It has not made any sound since last night before I used it with the speaker.Â
I tried restarting the phone twice, using it with the bluetooth speaker again (works fine), tried it with headphones (works fine), but otherwise it acts like the mute switch is on - and its not. I've even tried restoring the phone and it didn't make any noise, so I restored my backup, still no noise... What do I do?!!!!!Â
I have an otterbox case on my phone and do not recall dropping it recently. I never use the headphone port so it's not dirty but I cleaned it with a q-tip just for good measure. I don't know what else to try.Â
It seems like the phone won't disconnect from the bluetooth speaker even with bluetooth off.Â

I am curious if there's a way to keep the built-in headset speaker enabled while the phone is connected via Bluetooth, even if this means downloading an app.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm wondering if there is a way to use my Lumina 1020 as a Bluetooth speaker? The reason being I want to be able to plug it into my speaker system, and use it as a receiver for my PC laptops music. There must be a way/app to do this. I don't want to have to fork out for Bluetooth speakers, and using long audio wires to connect directly are just a pain.
I'm using windows 7 on my PC.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Waze volume from my S5 to my Blue Ant speaker has recently become very low. Hardly audible with A/C blowing and radio at normal listening levels. It used to be extremely loud, to where I had to turn it down some. I have phone media volume maxed (after clicking OK to that annoying message about damaging ears), Waze sound settings maxed, and blue ant maxed. BTW, other sounds from the Blue Ant are excruciatingly loud, like "Say a Command," so it's definitely either an issue with a recent S5 update or a Waze update.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have my car paired with my S2 Bluetooth. The other day I connected the speaker out on the S2 to the audio-in on the car stereo. I received a call while listening to an audio book on the phone. The car muted the audio in and answered the call. I could not hear the person calling. I think the phone was trying to send the sound out the speaker rather than the Bluetooth. When I don't have the phone speaker connected, Bluetooth works correctly.

The router is working for sure because the wifi is working for my laptop and ipod touch, so pretty sure it's not the router's problem. View 9 Replies View RelatedI was able to update my 16GB 3GS to iOS4 without a hitch, that is until I paired it up with my Contour Design SurfaceSound Compact Bluetooth handsfree car kit. Upon syncing the device would confirm pairing to the phone by announcing "handset connected". However, after updating to iOS4 the device would continually announce "handset connected" every minute or so (quite annoying). I've tried unpairing it to my iPhone and then repairing it but the problem continued.
However, I did find a workaround to this problem. I noticed that if I left my iPhone on the Bluetooth screen (within the Settings), the pairing takes place but it doesn't force my car kit from announcing "handset connected" every minute. Aside from not being able to switch to another screen or application, pressing the power button (turn off the display) will bring this "bug" back.
At least the iPod functions still work and I can take incoming phone calls...hopefully Apple fixes this annoyance soon.
I have a wireless bluetooth enabled speaker. I have paired it with my Blackberry Bold 9930. I play music (Pandora) on the blackberry and it plays thru the speaker. When the music changes songs it stops playing on the wireless speaker and starts playing thru the BB speaker. I have to disconnect and reconnect the bluetooth on the BB to make the music play thru the wireless speaker again. The same thing happens when I get a phone call and music is playing thru the wireless speaker..The speaker instructions say to use A2DP for audio streaming between devices. how to keep the music streaming to speaker?

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy wife can not believe that the phone rings through the Phones speaker even if she is listening to music through her BlueTooth headset(s). This happens with several BlueTooth devices, so it must be either a function of the phone, or a setting she has not found yet.
The problem is that if she is in a public area listening to music on the BlueTooth, and a call comes in, it transfers to the Phones speaker and disturbs everyone. I would think that if the phone was connected to BlueTooth, it would know enough to keep the speaker OFF. Is this normal for his phone? She uses a Motorola S9-HD headset, or a Plantronics Voyager Pro or a BlueAnt Supertooth 3. This happens no matter which device she is using.
I have an iHome Bluetooth speaker and I also have a new Bluetooth surround home theater. Now, I know it is a bit of a stretch asking if I can connect both Bluetooth. I would like to know if it is possible to use the headphones jack without muting it, so that I can connect it to my Bluetooth as well.
