My iphone 4s is not pairing with my new bluetooth headset. I turn on the bluetooth on phone- make sure all other devises are off - turn on the headset - it says it is pairing - but my phone only shows it is now discoverable - shows the headset name - but never makes the connection.

I'm having problems pairing the BlackBerry Bold 9700 (on Vodafone) with a Visor Go. I've set the headset into pairing mode, and the BlackBerry lists it. It also lists the available services. The BlackBerry then asks if I'd like to connect to the device. When I select 'Yes' it throws an error saying "Connection to Visor Go failed". I'm pretty clued up with phones and managed to pair an iPhone to it. But for some reason the BlackBerry just doesn't like this device. I've tried everything I can think of, like rebooting the device, setting Trusted to Yes and No, deleted the device and found it again (multiple times). Is there something I'm missing, or is it just a case of incompatibility? I'd imagine it is compatible because it finds it and knows what services are available.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy 2006 BMW X5 comes with a bluetooth handsfree feature. It used to pair and work with my iPhone very well. Now, I am off the iPhone and much happier with my Atrix.However, the bluetooth doesn't work too well. I can pair the phone with the car fine. However, the phone keeps constantly disconecting and connecting (like every minuto or so), which makes it unusable with the car's handsfree. I know it is not a problem with the car (it still pairs fine with the iPhone) nor with the phone (it pairs well with my bluetooth headset). It's just the combination that is bad. I've read somewhere else that BMW's are tricky and several android users are having trouble. It seems that android lacks a handsfree profile required by BMW. Anyway, is anyone having the same problem? Any ideas of what can be done? (I've already unpaired all phone from the car, repaired, removed the battery from my phone, etc, etc, etc).
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy car's bluetooth (2011 Honda Odyssey) was working perfectly with my Droid X (which had "FroYo" 2.2 software). Due to problems with my phone, Verizon had me update to the newest software (2.3, called "Gingerbread"). I now cannot pair the Droid with the car. I have called Verizon and Motorola both, who both stated that the most likely culprit was the car. Honda states that it is compatible with "Gingerbread" on newer phones, but not certain if it is on the original Droid, and Motorola has not sent a sample for Honda to test for the original Droid. What do I do? Is there a fix available here? Should I ask Verizon or Motorola to put the previous version, 2.2 or "FroYo" back on my phone?

I can make calls fine, but the only data that transfers to the MB display is the phone numbers, no names or information. I have previously paired a Palm Pre, Droid X, iPhone 3G, HTC Thunderbolt(couldn't stand it, way too many problems/issues) and all of them paired fine and the data transferred showing name, place (work/cell/home) and the phone number in either numerical or alphabetical order.

Now, i want to make the connection again. And whenever i press Search.. after a while, it says "Phone" is found and then ask the passkey to be entered . Which i use "0000". At the end it says "Unable to pair with. Try again"

Have an iPhone 5 with IOS 7.1.2 and MBA with IOS 10.9.4I can not pair them via BTWhen the MBA finds the iPhone it sends the numeric code which is received OK by the iPhone.When I accept it the iPhone is listed as Connected in the BT menu of the MBA. For a couple a seconds.It then shows as not connected. In the phone the MBA is listed as NOT CONNECTED, of course.When I touch the MBA in the list of devices of the Bluetooth screen in the iPhone a pop-up tells me the MBA is not compatible. I have tried with airplane mode, turning BT off and on, and several combinations thereof with no result.

I just got a Blueant V1 bluetooth headset and everytime the milestone sleeps [screen auto goes off] my bluetooth will disconnect shortly after that. If I keep the screen on the connection seems fine. I don't see a setting that causes bluetooth to go off when on sleep like WIFI does so what's the problem here and how can I fix it?

I recently purchased a Billionton bluetooth audio receiver that is supposed to connect with the iPhone through bluetooth and has RCA line-level outputs to connect into my stereo. The idea was to be able to listen to music on my iPhone wirelessly through my home stereo.
I cannot get the iPhone to "discover" or find the bluetooth receiver. I have connected wireless headsets to my iPhone in the past and all I have had to do was put the device in pairing mode and the iPhone would automatically find it once I entered the bluetooth menu on the iPhone. I tried my wife's Blackberry and it seemed to be able to pair and connect to the receiver without problem.
The receiver is a Bluetooth v1.2 compliant, Class 1 Radio. It supports A2DP. The model of the receiver is a Billionton GMHSBTAR.

I have a different problem than I've seen here, all of the BT posts seem to be about difficulty pairing or having a phone and a BT device auto-connect.
My issue is that after connection... even after making calls successfully... my phone and my car will to stop communicating. Both devices continue to indicate they are still paired... but calls do not come in through the car, nor can the calls be initiated through the car's controls. Thusly, the stereo remains on (sometimes loudly) and I miss calls when the phone rings. The connection is gone, even though both devices never reported loosing it. This happens about 30% of the time when I'm in my car more than 15 minutes or so.
I have a 4S running iOS 5.1... this is my third iPhone and my last. It is the 2nd iPhone I've used in this car... a 2011 VW CC. I've also had no issues with other BT 4.0 phones, a blackberry and a samsung.
Additionally the genious bar has replaced my phone once already, even though they couldn't find any hardware issues. Subsequently they did a complete reset on the replacement, again finding no hardware issues. It was then set up as a new phone, and not restored from a backup. Volkswagen has tested the car's BT unit against their test iPhone 4 with no issues, even after leaving it connected for the duration of a 20k service.

I just purchased a Zoom 4322 (bluetooth adaptor) for my Canon iP100 printer. My MB pro late 2011 running 10.7.4. MBP saw the printer immediately and connected. However my iphone 4s running 5.1.1 doesn't see the printer with the Zoom 4322.
