I have had a lot of phone issues the past few days . I had to reset the phone and finnally got it to work. Now when i go back and try to set up my email it wont work. I go to set up and when i cluck on email nothing happens. All other options worl. BBM, Wifi, ect...
I used a Storm for the last 30 days, and had 3 distinct and separate icons: Messages - catchall for everything Desktop email icon 2nd/personal email icon However, I switched back to the Curve (8530) because of the keyboard, and now I don't have a primary desktop email icon. The only way to view work email is to use the messages icon where everything else goes as well. Is there any way to create or separate the two email accounts so I can view the work email separately?
I need to reset my email on my blackberry so I followed the directions: go to setup>email accounts>BUT THAT IS WHERE IT ENDS! I can't open the file, sometimes I can and I click internet email up but it just brings me to the pervious page. This is really annoying! Blackberry is usually great but I am considering leaving the company because this phone sucks!
My BBM and email are only working when I'm connected to a wi-fi network. Once I'm out in the real world, just on the network I can't send BBM, send emails, check-in on Facebook, or connect to App World.
I am using a Blackberry Curve 8520 phone. I can send-receive phone calls, i can send-receive SMS messages and I can surf the internet. However, I cannot find an option to configure the Email I only get the option of The Blackberry Enterprise Office setup. My provider is in Spain and is called www.HITSMOBILE.ES.I contacted them and they said it was an issue with Blackberry not them!I cannot configure the email setup, that i can receive Blackberry Update email messages only!
I resored a previously saved back up into my phone, now my email addresses will not work. even the link to setup the email address says no email addres available.
Since I mistakenly wiped my phone a week ago I cannot set up my email accounts again.I seem to remember having to use a blackberry address and then got to key up my live mail account but now i cant seem to do it. THe email account icon doesnt lead anywhere in the setup icon.
I have a Curve 8310. I have had it for 2.5 years and have been receiving home, work, and Blackberry email accounts on my device without problems until now. Recently at work, they changed our email server. I have tried several times to set up my device to receive work emails both on the device or on my provider's website (AT&T), with no luck. I double, triple, and quad checked all email addresses, passwords, usernames, server names, etc. But I can't link the work email in. Our IT guy is stumped too.
I have a black berry curve and my new work email is <Personal Content Removed> and it will not sync for me to get emails on my blackberry. I tried using the enterprise and the internet options and does not work. When I use the enterprise I do get an immediate email from blackberry but nothing ever synchs. When I try using the internet option is just says it is invalid.
I purchased a new BB curve 9360 & every time I reboot it my emails & browser do not work, my emails stay blank & my browser is not accessible. The only way to fix this problem is to reset my phone software, once I do this it all works again. Why my phone keeps doing this as I'm sick of resetting the software every time?
I seem to be having the same problem as others with the email setup application.
When I updated my Blackberry to the new OS6, I went to my email setup and it said "looking for updates" It finds a new update from my already installed email setup app 6.0.0 to the new 6.11.0419.0755.
When I click "download" it says replace existing version? I click "yes" The it says: "com.rim.bis.client" contains a different version of module "net_rim_bis_client" which is also used by email setup application. If you proceed, "email setup application" may cease to function properly. proceed?
If I click "yes proceed" it crashes my blackberry and it will not reboot and I have to do a complete hard reboot, wipe the device and reload everything from my backup on blackberry desktop.
If I click "no" not to proceed, I cannot open the email setup application.
I have tried downgrading to version 5 of the OS, I have rebooted with a battery pull, crashed my blackberry twice and spent hours reloading all my applications and systems. I am at the end of my rope, and I don't know what else to do?!
If there was a way to turn off the automatic search for updates on my device under the setup and email settings, i think I would be able to set it up in the older version 6.0.0
attempting to setup my email on my replacement Curve 8520 after the track pad ceased working.Problem is, I only get one option: "I want to use a work email account with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server"This being my third Curve 8520 in less than two years, the first two rebelling with track pad failures, Android's sounding better and better.
When I did the email set up wizard, I thought my phone would only be for personal do didn't choose the enterprise email server option. Now I need to add my work email account which is through Outlook and cannot do so properly. What steps do I need to do in order to get this email set-up or to be able to change my email settings to have both an hotmail and outlook account set-up?I have a Blackberry Curve 8330
Well I have just been given my 1st BB from work this morning. I'm trying to set it up to get my work emails but when I try it is coming up with "Invalid email address or Password".
I need some help setting up my Blackberry Bold 9000. I bought it off of Ebay and I have already wiped with memory. I need help setting up my email account and all of that stuff. When i try to set up a personal email address the only option I get is for setting up a Work email. This is what it says "I want to use a work email account with a BLackberry Enterprise Server"

I have got myself a blackberry and have been told by t-mobile UK that I am on a BIS account plan. I have set up my gmail email and emails come through nearly instantly. With my work emails I am not getting them instantly. Work does have a BES server and can give me a password to access their server but T-Mobile are using my webmail URL to connect me to the emails.
1) is this correct
2) Can we get rid of the time lag/delay in receiving emails from my work email address so it is more instant?
On iPhone 4s, how do I prevent personal email accounts (yahoo, gmail) from accessing my work email contact list? I want to keep my work contact list private.
Just got my new bold 9700 today and im loving it. only one problem, i cant get my email to work... iv set it up for my xxxx@hotmail.com email address and it works perfect, but i cant get it to work for my myname@mycompanydomain.co.uk email address which is ideally what i need it for (work on the move) I own the domain name, its not a generic one. Neither Verizon nor Numericable, my provider in France, seem to be able to offer any tech support beyond telling me to pull the battery, toggle connections on and off, etc. I am not a techie by any stretch of the imagination, so I probably won't understand any jargon or acronyms you use in your replies, and will similarly need more detailed instructions on how to access things within my device (e.g., "just go to the host routing table!" won't mean anything to me).
1. I have a Verizon branded Bold 9650. I have unlocked it so that it is able to make/receive phone calls and texts by having Verizon provide me with the MEP code.
2. I have an unlimited data and Blackberry internet plan with Numericable, who contracts their 3G service through Bouygues. I am 100% sure of my plan, but whenever I try to open my browser, it tells me that "Browsing over the cellular network is not included as part of your current service plan. To browse the web you must use Wifi or contact your service provider to change your service plan".
3. I plan to crosspost this on the Blackberry France forums and the Crackberry forums. I hope this isn't bad manners, but I just want to get this resolved as soon as possible.
4. I have browsed other solutions but a lot of them seem to require a Windows computer to connect the Blackberry to. I unfortunately only have a Mac.
5. I've been waiting for over a week for something to change - Numericable at first told me that 'it takes 5 days to register on the network' and then to await a call from tech support that never came.
6. I would ideally like to be able to use this phone whenever I go back to the States in 7 months, so I don't want to mod it in an way that makes it permanently unusable on the Verizon network.
My phone, web browser , text, Facebook all are working. My email did for the first month with O2, but suddenly my ability to get emails has stopped. when I try to set up the email i get an errori that my device is not registered with Blackberry. Even when I go through the steps to register it, including getting a confirmation from Blackberry that I have registered , it still does not work. When i attempt to set up email again I get the same response to register my Blackberry.
Prior to the gingerbread update I had my personal email adds set up (Tiscali.co.uk) Now after the update it doesn't work. It takes the incoming settings but not the outgoing settings. Also previously I could use my WIFI and now it just has a yellow warning triangle on top of the witrelssssignall saying "Limited Connectivity".
I have tried everything I know to make email work. Data is on and I can connect to the Internet and use the browser. But email says cannot connect to server on sending and sent email is not received.
Exchange server does not work. Gmail does not work.
If I can connect to a WiFi, then email works. But without WiFi, email does not work at all.
