I purchased a new BB curve 9360 & every time I reboot it my emails & browser do not work, my emails stay blank & my browser is not accessible. The only way to fix this problem is to reset my phone software, once I do this it all works again. Why my phone keeps doing this as I'm sick of resetting the software every time?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been having trouble lately with my BB Curve in that it will decide at least once a week that it does not want to scroll down at all in the internet browser. It scrolls left and right and goes back and forth between pages just fine, loads the page just fine, but it absolutely will not scroll down! Only a reset by taking out the battery will work to let me scroll down again until the next time it decides to stop working. It doesn't seem to be a specific website I go to, either. It just doesn't want to scroll down! It isn't a critical problem, but it certainly is very annoying when I have a few tabs open and lose all my memory because I have to reset it.

Just shows a not-working browser and the rest is blank.) any search i make doesnt works i cant even open my emails or facebook notifications on the messages thing. Then, the device asked for a reboot - until now it is rebooting.What I see is the Blackberry logo, and the loading bar, accompanied by the red LED in the right upper corner flickering. There is no getting past that screen - once it loads completely, the screen goes dark, and it starts all over again.So inspired by similar problems posted here&in other tech support websites, I decided to download the Desktop Manager and try to update the OS. This is where I got hit by a second time - although it is connected via USB cable,the desktop manager won't recognize the phone as connected, the phone won't show up a selection screen as to what I want to do (storage/sync... etc.) Yet it asked for my device password, which I entered correctly, and could choose the Update option. But while downloading the update, it suddenly stops and tells me to either check my internet connection - which is UP - or try it again later.

I rebooted and the alt key is always shown pressed rendering the device impossible to use.I would want to get a replacement option where i can go in for a better device as i have read on the internet about this being a widespread problem on all blackberry devices.Could you direct me on how to take this matter further as the blackberry service station Redington in Bangalore, India is refusing to take this up.A service probably means a hot fix which i do not want as i am sure the problem will crop up again.

I've not loafded any new apps, I was rebooting after dropping the phone - however i've done this many times before and never had this issue.
I've tried hooking up to my laptop but I've never used it to sync or back up before and because the device isn't actually on it wasn't finding it.
Just upgraded from Curve 8520 to Curve 9360, and I'm a little disappointed at the moment. Firstly, the battery doesn't last half as long, and secondly, its sending duplicate text in an email.
E.g.:
I send an email saying : Hi, how are you?.
What it really sends is : Hi, how are you? Hi, how are you? </div>
I am trying to set up multiple email accounts with BIS on my Curve 9360. My existing email accounts were initially copied from a previos Blackberry (Bold 9000), but when I attempt to add an additional one, the only option I get is "Create a new email address' (the Blackberry one).
My service provider confirms to me that this is not due to them.The problem was there with OS7.0 and remains with 7.1.
I have a brand new BB 9360 with unlimited email, bbm and phone plan (no data plan but I didn't have one on my old phone either and I didn't have this issue). When I'm connected to Wifi, my bbm and email works perfectly. As soon as I leave that wifi connection, it shows I am connected to the Bell network but bbm and email do not work until I turn my phone off then on or make a phone call. It is like it has to reset before really picking up the bell network. I called Bell Canada and they basically told me I have to manually disconnect and reconnect every time I leave a wifi connection. That doesn't even work.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to setup email connection. On this 9360 I do not have any Connection Assistant so I use "setup" mode and "mail accounts" options. Usually (as on my previous Curve 8520) I used to have two options when entering there :
- Use my own email address (personal address) or create a new one
- Use my Enterprise email address
But when I launch Email setup on my curve 9360, I have only the Enterprise option so that I Cannot setup email! My 9360 runs under OS 7.
I am using bb curve 8520 with O2 and has been running perfectly since january. My wifi keeps going on and off which is 1 problem as its not the wifi as it works with laptop. I noticed that while it was off that my bbms weren't sending and my browser and also twitter and facebook apps didn't work. (The only apps I use all the time) I could send emails and texts and it was showing GPRS next to the grey wifi sign. But once the wifi was white these things would work but it only lasted a few minutes before going again.
