My phone is a blackberry 9360 and I don't have a plan but I am connected to a wifi. The problem is that whenever I open fb, app world or the browser it keeps on telling me that I need to turn on my data services.

I've done every thing and I can not get into my bb app world to fix any thing says ' there is an issue with current session. Please log in to continue( error id: 30702). also I try to go to my world to log in and the same message pops up.

Could have sworn someone reset it for me via Blackberry network once, but could be wrong-- couldn't find any forum regarding that.After my data was wiped I reloaded my contacts via an app called Lookout Mobile. B-Berry was being fickle so I let it charge alone for a while to blow off some steam. Restarted our unrequited relationship this afternoon only to find a number of problems.
First, foremost, and probably the center of all problems is that I have no access to the internet or any app that uses the internet. I don't even have a browser icon. I called my wireless service provider and I unwittingly performed every one of their tasks only to find that they don't understand my problem.
I have battery pulled. I have done the host table. I have done diagnostics. I can't seem to find the problem. They also made me download the blackberry desktop software-- obviously should have used it hindsight, but does no good to me as a solution to this particular problem.When I try to access something like the Facebook app, it tells me, " You are currently on a service plan that does not support this application.connect to a Wi-Fi network or contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan."
I have just upgraded from an 8520 to a 9360. Originally I moved everything onto my new phone by using desktop manager but there seemed to be a problem with constant rebooting because it didnt like some of the third party apps. I restored the phone to the original settings but although I have Appworld and Bridge in my list of applications there is no icon for them - i have checked by Show All and they are not there. Both showed as icons on my 8520 and worked fine (I have a playbook too which is why I need the Bridge).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been having trouble lately with my BB Curve in that it will decide at least once a week that it does not want to scroll down at all in the internet browser. It scrolls left and right and goes back and forth between pages just fine, loads the page just fine, but it absolutely will not scroll down! Only a reset by taking out the battery will work to let me scroll down again until the next time it decides to stop working. It doesn't seem to be a specific website I go to, either. It just doesn't want to scroll down! It isn't a critical problem, but it certainly is very annoying when I have a few tabs open and lose all my memory because I have to reset it.

Just shows a not-working browser and the rest is blank.) any search i make doesnt works i cant even open my emails or facebook notifications on the messages thing. View 2 Replies View RelatedWhat I like to do (and have always done with my other, non-blackberry phones) is go outside for a smoke, while listening to some music on my phone, then come back in, send some text messages and maybe make a call, then go out for another smoke, playing the music where I left off. My new bb curve 9360 can't seem to do that. Once I navigate to any other apps or anything, it resets the music player, gets rid of Now Playing and I have to start all over (I try to cycle through all my mp3s on random/shuffle). How can I even get to texting w/o stopping the music. Shouldn't there be a Home button or something (that doesn't stop the music)? I set up facebook. Now how do I stop all the activation sounds every time someone posts something?

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust recently I bought a Blackberry Curve 8900 with tmobile. Now here is the thing, I dont have a data plan of any kind with tmobile. So when I bought the phone I insterted my phone and booted it up. Checked with my seller to make sure it made a phone call... it did. So I knew for sure my SIM card was working just fine....
When I got home, the first thing I did was connect to my wireless network.. using Wi-Fi.. obviously. And from there I went to the Setup Wizard and went through each step. When I got to the Email portion, It gave me two options, I dont remember both but one of them was "set up email through blackberry enterprise server".. or something like that. I was aware that I didnt have a data plan, so I clicked the second option. I went through the process and had EMAIL... through WIFI. I even sent my self email messages to make sure it was working and have proof that i recieved email and sent emaily to myself and others!!! without a data plan.This is what i expected.. i didnt know that this wasnt supposed to happen? and that blackberrys customers were only able to get email if they had a blackberry data plan?Well, naturally i figured everything else would work on a wif connection.. like the iphone. Even though you dont have the 3G data plan one can still access email, web, and aps. So anways, all the apps communicated with the wifi network and my web browser viewed pages on a wireless network.
Then my myfaves dissapeard and gave a java encoding script error or something. So what do i do? i call tmobile and spend hours troubleshooting. Eventually i am able to restore or update my OS with a PC and get my mfaves back. But now my ap world ap wont start and tells me that i need a data plan.. next its my web browser that tells me the same thing, as well as facebook. I am like what is going on?!. AND then when I try to set up email... there is only one option... and thats "setup email through a blackberry enterprise server"..if you took the time to read this.. why in the world did everything stop working with wi fi and out of nowhere asked me to use a blackberry data service plan?

If i try and zoom in they go fuzzy so thats no good. Also if i try save it they save small so i cant see them better that way. This happend suddenly and i have no idea how to fix it.
