BB Curve :: Internet Browser On 9360 Is Not Working
Jan 5, 2012my BB turned off itself and then when i turned on the browser was different (it doesnt show my favorites or my home page. Just shows a not-working browser and the rest is blank.) any search i make doesnt works i cant even open my emails or facebook notifications on the messages thing. Also i cant close the internet browser with the "back" button.

May 15, 2012I've been having trouble lately with my BB Curve in that it will decide at least once a week that it does not want to scroll down at all in the internet browser. It scrolls left and right and goes back and forth between pages just fine, loads the page just fine, but it absolutely will not scroll down! Only a reset by taking out the battery will work to let me scroll down again until the next time it decides to stop working. It doesn't seem to be a specific website I go to, either. It just doesn't want to scroll down! It isn't a critical problem, but it certainly is very annoying when I have a few tabs open and lose all my memory because I have to reset it.

The only way to fix this problem is to reset my phone software, once I do this it all works again. Why my phone keeps doing this as I'm sick of resetting the software every time?

Dec 18, 2011First, the application isn't readily available in the main Menu. I must execute an extended Search to be able to access it. Does this mean my device does not support BB Maps? I have one of the new Curve 9360 OS 7.0.0 (unblocked, Movistar). I am currently in Venezuela.I normally reside in Germany and I would like to use it there. I could understand if the app does not work well in South America, but I would like to rest in mind that it'll work in Germany once I set it up there.

I followed the reinstall procedure and now the terms and conditions screen is showing but I can't move in ant direction using the touchpad. Pressing it does select things, unlock and OK when I enter password but that's all I can do.

Feb 10, 2012I have a brand new BB 9360 with unlimited email, bbm and phone plan (no data plan but I didn't have one on my old phone either and I didn't have this issue). When I'm connected to Wifi, my bbm and email works perfectly. As soon as I leave that wifi connection, it shows I am connected to the Bell network but bbm and email do not work until I turn my phone off then on or make a phone call. It is like it has to reset before really picking up the bell network. I called Bell Canada and they basically told me I have to manually disconnect and reconnect every time I leave a wifi connection. That doesn't even work.

Oct 27, 2012My blackberry browser is not behaving properly. It all started a few months ago, I dont know the exact month or day but it's been a while now. When I use the browser, the blue bar at the bottom will progress very slowly and get to the end but no page will actually load. Resetting the phone will, as I said, result in a temporary fix but I am now growing tired of this re-occurance and would like to seek out a permanent fix. I have also re-sent service books, to no avail.

I have a package throiugh my network provider which is operational but the phone will not change. May 16, 2011I recently upgraded to (according to my phone) version 5.0.0.1067, platform 5.20.96. Since this upgrade I can no longer use my browser to do anything. It shows at the bottom that it's "requesting" the site, then it changes to "loading" and gets stuck there forever. The blue bar at the bottom indicating how much has loaded will go all the way over to the other side, in about 15 minutes, but never loads anything.
I haven't changed any settings with the browser. I have icons for my email and for facebook and can still receive updates/emails so it's even more confusing to me as my internet is obviously working.
I apologize if this has been answered already, I went through 5 pages of questions in the forum and had not seen anything yet. I've tried taking the battery out about 10 times, I've cleared all of the history, cache and cookie cache and noticed that there isn't any "pushed" content.

For some weeks now, I have been unable to access the internet via the blackberry browser (I can access via Vodafone WAP and can recieve e-mails via corporate account, but not google mail) and any apps using this browser have also stopped working.
