Internet is not working on my blackberry phone though it was working previously but it stopped. I have not registered for a bb plan. Is it happening for the same reason for not registering.
View 1 Repliesmy BB turned off itself and then when i turned on the browser was different (it doesnt show my favorites or my home page. Just shows a not-working browser and the rest is blank.) any search i make doesnt works i cant even open my emails or facebook notifications on the messages thing. Also i cant close the internet browser with the "back" button.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry curve 9360 and I wanted to connect my blackberry to my home router while I'm at home, but away from the computer, so I did this:
-I went to Manage Connections
-I went to Wi-Fi Network
-My network at home, which is my saved network, shows up and I click on it
-instead of asking for a passcode even though it shows that my home internet is locked, it immediately starts trying to connect to my internet, and then says "Failed to authenticate against the network"
Since this happens ALL THE TIME, I went to "other ways to connect", then "Wi-Fi Protected Setup" and I see that the two options are "Press button on router" or "Enter PIN into router."So I clicked the first choice and it tells me to press the Wi-Fi Protected Setup button on my wireless router or its administration screen. That will probably get my internet working on my Blackberry?

View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I just got the new Blackberry Curve 9360 on contract, and I noticed that while I am loading webpages the device gets really warm, mainly the back bottom right corner, near the memory card...when I am finished browsing the internet, and use the phone for texting or BBM the device remains cool. I have googled this but where the device is quite new there is nothing on it, should I try to get a replacement, or is this normal?

Does this mean my device does not support BB Maps? I have one of the new Curve 9360 OS 7.0.0 (unblocked, Movistar). I am currently in Venezuela.I normally reside in Germany and I would like to use it there. I could understand if the app does not work well in South America, but I would like to rest in mind that it'll work in Germany once I set it up there.

I followed the reinstall procedure and now the terms and conditions screen is showing but I can't move in ant direction using the touchpad. Pressing it does select things, unlock and OK when I enter password but that's all I can do.

Last night my fone turned to GSM signal due to weather and this morning, everything is working except Blackberry Messenger. I can receive BBM messages but the ones I send does not go through. Whatsapp, Email and Facebook is working, it is Only BBM that does not deliver messages to my contacts.

Ive tried the small button on the home screen and the larger button on the menu, this has happened before but usually starts working agan after about an hour but it hasn't been working for a full day. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a brand new BB 9360 with unlimited email, bbm and phone plan (no data plan but I didn't have one on my old phone either and I didn't have this issue). When I'm connected to Wifi, my bbm and email works perfectly. As soon as I leave that wifi connection, it shows I am connected to the Bell network but bbm and email do not work until I turn my phone off then on or make a phone call. It is like it has to reset before really picking up the bell network. I called Bell Canada and they basically told me I have to manually disconnect and reconnect every time I leave a wifi connection. That doesn't even work.

Every time i open them, i get the message (in italian) about an unknown error and, if I continue, I see only grey and white checks. I would like to download again the BB maps on my smartphone but I am not able to find the way to do that. I went to [URL] but I am not able to find the way to download the BB maps.
I am seeking support on two things:
1) Why I always get this unknown error when I try to look at my maps?
2) How to download again the maps application?
my blackberry internet services wont work(BBM, browser, appworld etc) iv phoned vodafone a number off times to be told the same thing, they keep saying it will be on in 24 hours and it still doesnt work. they then told me to follow some steps which included registering through the host routing table and i didnt get a reply.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry curve 8520 on orange pay as you go. The internet service as been intermittent for a couple of weeks and seems to have died. I can get it up and running for a short period if I reboot the phone. I have checked that BIS is connected. Roaming data services are on. I have cleared the cache, cookies, and history from the browser. I recently upgraded the blackberry messenger service and these problems seem to have started at about the same time. Is this a coincidence? Perhaps it is a problem with my service provider?

I have registered the phone with my network company (vodafone) but still it wont connect to the net. View 2 Replies View RelatedMy daughter bought a Blackberry Curve 8520 from Carphone Warehouse with a Vodaphone PAYG Sim in it. She got BBM to work fine with me and a number of her friends. After a few weeks, I bought her a pay monthly SIM and got her original PAYG number transferred across to the Pay Monthly SIM. Since then, she hasn't been able to get BBM to work. All her friend requests are 'Pending Authorisation' and she cannot send or receive messages. The Internet is also not working, although she hadn't tried that until now, so I don't know whether it was working before. Text and voice calls are, and always have been, fine.

i am having problems with my bbm, mobile intenet and facebook app, none of which are working. I have full signal and i have also phoned up Orange to make sure that it is activated as i am on PayAsYouGo. It is still not woring.

I have a curve 8250 and I am on a vodafone contract and I do have blackberry plan in my contract so it should work but it keeps saying it is not connected. I connected toa wifi connection yesterday and when I disabled that connection, my BIS did not start up again, i tried a battery pop reboot which didn't help at all, I even ran a diagnostics test and the resutls said as follows:
blackberry registration: no
Connected to blackberry:abort
blackberry pin-pin:abort
I recently updated the software on my blackberry to OS6 and after i seemed to have a problem with my applications email and the internet on the phone. My messages on bbm are not sending and the applications and internet just refuse to load.
i called vodafone as they are my network and they suggested that i go into options, then mobile network, then change the mobile network to any other network, after doing this i would change it back to vodaphone and switch my phone off. i did this and turned my phone back on after 20 minuets but then the proplem was still there.
i am paying monthly for this internet sevice and as a person that uses it on a regular basis (this meaning all day every day!) it is being a real pain.
I have just come back of my holidays and i got a message of o2 saying that my blackberry messenger and internet have been ceased, what do i do to get them to work again?

My BBM, Twitter and Facebook are working fine however, my internet and WhatsApp isn't. When I click on WhatsApp, it just says "Initialization can take up to 5 minutes" and when I click to use the internet, it just says "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later".
I've had the phone for 2 years and have never had this problem before. I currently have the WhatsApp free trial which expires in August so I don't want to delete and re-install incase it charges me?
My internet doesn't work unless I reboot my phone (even after that it doesn't last for long) and my phone freezes for very long periods of time so I just reboot it. I thought this problem occured because I had alot of files on my 2gb memory card (music, pictures, videos), but this problem is still happening and I have an 8gb memory card.(BB 9300)

My internet browser is not working, it takes ages to load, the blue bar at the bottom saying 'requesting' is there for ages and then comes up with the notification "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider." None of the apps involving internet are working either - BBM, Facebook, Whats App etc. I have already done the whole resend service books thing and that hasn't helped.
