i was using the internet on my bb curve when it just cut off and i cant get back on to it at all. When i press the button it doesn't do anything at all. I have turned my phone off then on and even left it off for 8 hours and still joy.

If I try and switch applications the phone states that your device dose not currently have any browser configuration service book entires. Please contact your service prodiver to enable the browser on your device. The thing is I have just recently moved from Ireland to Canada and I am currently on an Irish provider, but I have not got the data plan and never have had a data plan. I access the browser through wi-fi connections. The wifi has always worked even when I arrived in Canada. now that I have been here for a week it has suddenly stopped. I have trid the host routing table, taken the sim out, taken the battery out and tried rebooting it.

Bolt works for me but browser does not. I can't even change my default browser to browser anymore or even change it to bolt. It just gives me option of hotspot and web2go. How do I fix this problem? Going to HRT and registering still will not give me my browser back or the option to pick it as default browser like I previously had.

I always get the "HTTP Error 400: Bad Request" dialog. And under the details "Connection refused". Not sure what to try other than several battery pulls, etc. Again, never had any issues until a few days ago havent loaded any new apps, etc.

If i go to google i can type in what i want to search but then when i hit enter it doesnt respond, same as if i try to click on the search icon it doesnt do anything. If once on any page i can move the arrow around just unable to click or do anything else and if i need to reinstall browser please let me know what my options are.

When ever I try and access the Internet or click a link, the Browser opens up says "requesting" and then "loading" - the Blue Bar starts to slowly load up at the bottom of the screen - and thats it, nothing else happensthe screen remains blank, the Blue bar loads up and ... nothing.
My Mobile plan allows me Internet 2G acess and I also have Wi-Fi - all of which has been working perfectly for 8 months until now.
Wi-Fi and 2G internet appears to work perfectly for my Twitter app and my Emails come thru fine too.

The reply from support is simply update software, I can't see why I have to do all this, as apart from anything else I don't currently have a phone line for internet due to illegal BT sales activity! It is also suggested that I send phone off in a jiffy bag to be repaired if unsuccessful, and what do I do for a phone in the mean time?? Not only that they suggest that it will cost me if it is not a fault they cover.

When I use the browser, the blue bar at the bottom will progress very slowly and get to the end but no page will actually load. Resetting the phone will, as I said, result in a temporary fix but I am now growing tired of this re-occurance and would like to seek out a permanent fix. I have also re-sent service books, to no avail.

I have a package throiugh my network provider which is operational but the phone will not change. View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded to (according to my phone) version 5.0.0.1067, platform 5.20.96. Since this upgrade I can no longer use my browser to do anything. It shows at the bottom that it's "requesting" the site, then it changes to "loading" and gets stuck there forever. The blue bar at the bottom indicating how much has loaded will go all the way over to the other side, in about 15 minutes, but never loads anything.
I haven't changed any settings with the browser. I have icons for my email and for facebook and can still receive updates/emails so it's even more confusing to me as my internet is obviously working.
I apologize if this has been answered already, I went through 5 pages of questions in the forum and had not seen anything yet. I've tried taking the battery out about 10 times, I've cleared all of the history, cache and cookie cache and noticed that there isn't any "pushed" content.
My internet browser is not working. The error says uncaught exception: shared webkit instance unavailable: null. checked manage connections and it saysStatus: Available

It would go between working and not working without the article of clothing for a few days but now it only works if I have something between my thumb and the trackpad. Nothing was working, the trackball, keyboard, etc all just stopped working. Assuming I needed to do an OS update, I went out and got a USB to do one. It just finished, however the BB is still in the same state, and everything seems to be gone from the few seconds I can see my screen... it's all deleted and plus my reception is off..
