BB Curve :: N Key Not Working Anymore - Just Stopped
Mar 19, 2011My N key was working pretty fine and now it has just stopped and I have to hold down the end button to get the option to put in my password to unlock the phone.

BB Curve :: Internet Apps Are Not Working Anymore
Mar 21, 2011I can no longer go on the internet. I've had that capability for 2 years now on this bb (8530), OS 5, and suddenly it stopped working and asked me to sign in with my blackberry id but I can't now. I've done a security wipe, I've updated via pc with the bb desktop manager and I've reset the phone via CDMA screen (##231898). I've spoken to four live advisors at my provider's call center (Virgin Mobile) and nothing has I've tried has added back my data services. Now they say my only option is to buy a new phone as mine's out of warranty. with My phone works fine. I can receive and send texts as well as phone calls. But I can no longer set up email, go online, or go to app world but I'm still paying for unlimited data service. There's just the "hotspot browser" (for wi-fi) and I need the "internet browser"! There is just that one option now to choose from and there's no way to delete it either.

Sep 20, 2012So about a week ago, my trackpad stopped working, to get it to scroll I had to hold a piece of clothing such as my shirt between the trackpad and my thumb. It would go between working and not working without the article of clothing for a few days but now it only works if I have something between my thumb and the trackpad. May 16, 2011With the battery fully charged, the screen was only viewable for a few seconds when plugging/unplugging from the charger and would go back to frozen state after. Nothing was working, the trackball, keyboard, etc all just stopped working. Assuming I needed to do an OS update, I went out and got a USB to do one. It just finished, however the BB is still in the same state, and everything seems to be gone from the few seconds I can see my screen... it's all deleted and plus my reception is off..

Jul 27, 2011My Curve 8520 's e button just stopped working, doesnt work no matter how hard you press. Sometimes will get assign speed dial to e or if i'm texting a capital E but it is completely random. Also at the same time when the screen times out it is unresponsive, the screen wont come up until you press any button many many times, found out that holding any button down will also make the screen reappear after a few seconds, also if you turn it off, the power button wont turn it back on, you have to take the battery out to get it on again, otherwise it works fine.

Mar 9, 2011I bought a 2nd hand BB Curve 8520 about 6 months ago, and had it unlocked to use on Orange. My problems started on Sunday - I was unable to connect to the internet using WiFi or my unlimited access. Since Monday I have discovered that I cannot receive phone calls - it goes straight to voicemail, and any texts / emails / FB notifications I receive are massively delayed.Orange don't seem to know what the problem is. I have performed a factory reset, and the problem has not resolved. I am currently waiting to hear back from Orange, as my call was "escalated" to another department. So far I haven't heard anything, but they did say 24 hours... it's been about 23!

Oct 30, 2011i have had my blackberry for about 4 months, i am on a sim only contract which has blackberry internet, this morning i installed the blackberry desktop manager so i could update my blackberry from version 4.6 to 5.0, wouldnt let me do it from my blackberry, dont know why. After i did this everything was working fine but my app world had gone, so i downloaded it again and it was the new version, i noticed i could update bbm, so i tried to do this, i then went out to a area which doesnt have signal for orange, so the updates cancelled, when i got back in signal it was telling me to reboot my phone, do i did this, after i did this and it came back on the internet is no longer working, instead of GRPS it says GSM and when i go to services status it says blackberry internet not connected and i cant send bbms, use facebook or the internet, im really confused and dont understand what has happened,i have tried everything but nothing works, do i need to ring Orange?
