Feb 27, 2010My keyboard has stopped working. The menu button now types random letters when pressed. The track ball and call key still work normally, but nothing else.

BB Curve 83xx :: Keys And Keyboard Combinations Not Working
Aug 22, 2010I put my AT&T 8310 in an aftermarket hard shell case, trying to protect the keyboard. When I pulled it out some of the keys weren't working. Gradually some are coming back, but the delete/backspace key doesn't work (sometimes it kicks in and does a Pac Man) and the Alt Back combination to bring up switch applications isn't working even though both keys work independently.

May 11, 2010Im 8900 owner, and im using Hebrew language and running 4.6.1.199 OS.When i got the BB (running Hebrew) the keyboard shortcuts ("R" to reply, "T" for top, etc) worked well, and after a while its just stopped to work.
I tried battery pull, doesnt help.With English the shortcuts works fine, but sometimes after reboot it stop working and then im changeing the language to another>then back to English again and the shortcuts back. (it doesnt work for Hebrew).Anyone can think about something i can do to make the shortcuts work on Hebrew again?

Apr 14, 2011the keyboard and buttons on the side and top on my 8900 simply stopped working, in that they will no longer activate the phone even though I know the phone to be on.The phone is a PAYG handset on Orange, whom I have contacted and was told that because the unit is over 12 months old (18months) I must contact Blackberry. There are unfortunately no support telephone numbers apparent on the site, so this seems to be my only option! This is incredibly annoying as I need to use the phone on a daily basis for email, etc!

Nov 21, 2014I couldn't type at all on my G3 as the keyboard stopped popping up when clicking a text field - luckily I had Swype installed (as I'd bought it for a previous phone that had a rubbish stock keyboard) to use as a back up so I made Swype the default and could type again... however, I miss my LG Keyboard and it's emoticons but I cannot turn it back on - when going into the 'language & input methods' menu, I can adjust the settings for it, but the tick box to turn it on is greyed out?I tried the usual turn off and on etc, but it's still greyed out and seemingly can't be turned on.

Dec 1, 2011Recently my 9800 torch keyboard has stopped working it hasnt been exposed to water or anything. The touch screen is fine no problems at all i presumed that it had broken and that was that...then one morning my screen flashed black l(like it had been locked) and the keyboard started working then after 5 mins it stopped. This has happened for the past 3 mornings now so i thought it could poss be a software issue. I have rebooted my phone (bat pull) done a full wipe of everything and still no joy
My device version is v6.0.0.246 bundle 695 it says it is the latest software

Dec 7, 2015Im not sure whats wrong with my s6 but it keeps restarting itself. Yesterday was worse because I was texting someone and.. during that 20 minutes, it restarted itself 4 times! I did some experimenting these past few weeks, I switched my phone to safe mode for a day or so, and the problem never occured.. not even once! Back to the problem, I have a feeling it might be some of the apps I have (I dont have that much apps), I got rid all of my game apps but problem is still occuring.

Oct 16, 2012I have had a Nokia E51 for about 4 years - I used it till it literally stopped working. That phone started out great, but gave me A LOT of trouble and I started to hate it around month 6.
Fast forward a few years and I need to buy a new phone. I search around and find a phone that has OFFLINE GPS! Whoa! Also, great reviews! I am sold. Turns out it's another Nokia (C6-01).
I have had this thing for about 2.5 months now and I am getting really really paranoid considering my history with Nokia phones. They have always surprised me in a very negative way after initially seducing me. I want to love Nokia, but the phone's always prevent me.
Anyway, Last night I tried to set an alarm on my c6-01 and when I tried to alter the time by tapping the text field, THE ON SCREEN KEYBOARD DID NOT SHOW UP. f*ck. Basically, according to my phone, I could only wake up at 11:15 AM - despite having work at 8:00 AM.
I did do a recent software update a few weeks ago, but from what I remember, the keyboard worked after this update. I am pretty sure I am still under warranty and if that's the case, I am just going to return it to Amazon and never touch another nokia.

BB Bold :: 9700 Keyboard And Lock Button Has Now Stopped Working
Apr 19, 2012I have a Blackberry Bold 9700 which was replaced under warranty in January this year. T mobile told me that they could not repair the old one and therefore it was replaced with a new one - the keyboard and lock button has now stopped working on this some of the time meaning it can't be used as I cannot unlock it. Despite the fact that it was only brand new in January as the contract is over 2 years now they say there is no warranty on it but speak to Blackberry can't find any other way of doing this?

Feb 9, 2010At 4:30am this morning, my email was working as normal, but when I checked again at 7am, it was not receiving emails, although I can send them to myself. I had my wife try from her work email and I have gone to my laptop and all email functions are normal. Do you need to know that I am on Verizon.

Feb 20, 2010Greetings, blackberry 8310: some keys are not working, now normally I would think it's because it has gone through some rough punishment, but odd enough, sometimes they work. The Keys i'm talking about are the Z-C-N-M-SPACE-RIGHT SHIFT-LOWER VOLUME keys, but, when I press Z like 10 times it starts to work, so does the C, and then the N and M and SPACE, and what's even weirder is that when the keys do work, they work without any problem whatsoever, I think it's a software problem or something or an OS problem but I'm not an engineer, so I dont know.

Mar 5, 2010I'm a noob when it comes to BB so if you give me an explanation, you will have to type it as if you're talking to a 5 year old. So anyway, When I download themes they are jad. files i believe and NOT zip. I then go to my computer and drag and drop the themes into my blackberry media card folder (i made a themes folder) i then go to my blackberry and go to media and click explore then i got to the themes folder but when i go to download it it says "download failed" so i click details and it says "907 invalid COD file not found"

Jan 26, 2010I upgrade to 5.0.0.438 and haven't ran into too many problems but this one. i was setting up individual sms tones for some contacts and some of them work and others don't. The one that doesn't work is a downloaded tone from crackberry but I also can't get a built in ringtone to work either. not sure what to do here. Is any one else having this problem? Feb 22, 2010I downloaded ringtones from crackberry a couple hours ago and now my ringers won't work and when I try to play ringtones in the media application it won't let me play them. I tried going through the profiles to make sure they weren't muted or off and nothing is working. I had the exact same problem less than 24 hours ago and the cell phone place just gave me a new phone because they couldn't figure it out either. If I could get some kind of direction as to what I need to do I would appreciate it greatly.
