BB Curve :: Messenger And Apps Have Stopped Working?
Feb 16, 2011I have noticed that the past three days I have been unable to use blackberry messenger and facebook on my phone unless connected to the wifi at home. When I go outside the messages do not work. I do not know if this is a problem with my phone or if it is a problem with the browser outside. It's really stressing me out because I can't use it unless I am in the house.

Jan 14, 2012I have a blackberry bold 9930 which I brought from USA. I am on T-Mobile in the UK. I have been using the messenger and all other services for around 4 months now and suddenly my messenger has stopped working. I can use whatsapp and facebook but my messenger wont show any updates or let me send a message or recieve a message. Before this problem started I installed the new update for the new blackblerry messenger which carries customisations such as bubble colours and the like. It worked fine for a few days then suddenly this Friday it stopped working after experiencing some heavy lags.The phone is on BOLD 9930 on 7.1 OS bundle 457 (v7.1.0.163, Platform 5.1.0.137) which is the latest update

Apr 8, 2012I think I inadvertly deleted or blocked a contact on BBM. I have read several posts and tried several methods of re-adding them.
They can see my invitation, accept it so that I show as a contact on their BBM, but the status remains pending on my phone & I don't receive their messages.
BBM works fine for all of my contacts. I have tried deleting them as a contact, inviting them by PIN no, scanning barcodes.

May 18, 2011When I got my E5 I could start typing a name of a contact and the search worked nicely. But now nothing happens as I type - it just shows the text/numbers that I have entered. I'd like to get this back as it's a really nice feature. Is there something I should be turning on/off to get this to work?

Jan 7, 2012My phone underwent a security wipe after my password was put in incorrectly continuous. After the security wipe I was able to reinstall all of my apps but my blackberry messenger is no longer working. I am not receiving invitations and my invitations are not being received. I am registered on the blackberry network under my service provider in the United States but I am currently visiting in a different country and using my apps using WiFi. I have tried deleting and reinstalling my bbm. Is there a way to fix this problem?

It would go between working and not working without the article of clothing for a few days but now it only works if I have something between my thumb and the trackpad. May 16, 2011With the battery fully charged, the screen was only viewable for a few seconds when plugging/unplugging from the charger and would go back to frozen state after. Nothing was working, the trackball, keyboard, etc all just stopped working. Assuming I needed to do an OS update, I went out and got a USB to do one. It just finished, however the BB is still in the same state, and everything seems to be gone from the few seconds I can see my screen... it's all deleted and plus my reception is off..
