I've got a curve 8900 and the last few days my Windows Live Messenger hasn't been working....anyone got any ideas??It lets me sign in and refresh the contact list to see who's online but then it doesn't deliever any of messages to my friends who are online.All other apps/internet working fine.I have recently upgraded to Windows Live Messenger 2.5.85.

When I install the 2.5.84 update it will install the 2.5.69 I believe this is a downgrade. What can I do to receive the 2.5.84 upgrade?

View 2 Replies View Relateddon't know if anyone can help me, but I'm having serious issues with this version of WLM on my pearl 8120.I tried updating the version via BlackBerry App World. Downloaded and apparently installed fine. Rebooted the device and it keeps crashing on the restart. basically it'll start to load, then hang there for about 5-15 mins, then the red led will come for approx 3-5 seconds then it will turn off and do it all over again.Only way I have found to get my phone turned on again, is to connect via blackberry desktop manager and removing wlm version2.5.69 and then it works fine. But It's a pain in the **bleep** as I don't have WLM on my phone and I really need it on there.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi set up emails on my Blackberry Curve 8900 about a month ago (via BIS) and they've been working fine since then - until yesterday. Yesterday I got an email saying: "Action required:update password!" - there was then some info asking me to go to the BIS page and validate my password before I can receive emails again.
I keep doing this and it keeps saying it has been validated (I am absolutely certain it is the correct password) - but then 1 minute later I get the same email again saying I ned to validate my password. I click the email icon in setup and it's gone back to needing to be validate again?!
It's my work email address accessed via BIS. Has anyone got any ideas?? (I've treied searching on here but the posts I've found are all talking about a problem with Hotmail / Live / MSN - which this isn't about)
I have BB Desktop Manager 5.0.1 and I am un able to syncronize my Contacts with Windows Live Mail from Windows 7. The only options the Desktop Manager offers are: Outlook Express, Importad./Exportad. ASCII adn Yahoo.
