BB Desktop Software :: Contacts Sync With Windows Live Mail From Windows 7
Jan 19, 2010
I have BB Desktop Manager 5.0.1 and I am un able to syncronize my Contacts with Windows Live Mail from Windows 7. The only options the Desktop Manager offers are: Outlook Express, Importad./Exportad. ASCII adn Yahoo.
I no longer use Outlook or Outlook express. I installed Windows 7 and am very happy with Windows Live. Am I able to sync to WLM? I also have a g-mail account. If WLM does not work can I sync with Gmail? I need to sync contacts and calendar>
Is it possible to synchronise contacts, calendar and emails from Windows Live Mail with 9320?If not, do I end up needing to use something like Microsoft Outlook 2010?
I am using windows 7.I cannot sync windows mail , contacts, calendar with my new BlackBerry 8520. Under available desktop applications None ASCII Importer/Exporter Yahoo!
i'm a new BB user and i have this problem with forwarding e-mails from my windows live account (hotmail).
In there i have multiply folders with filters so e-mails are sorted properly. The problem is that when i get a mail in my inbox it's forwarded to my phone but when it's filterd to a specific folder it's not being forwarded.
So my question is how can i setup it up on my phone so the e-mails from a specific folders are forwarded to the phone?
I use Windows Live Mail for all my email addresses. When I delete an email from Blackberry this does not delete in Live Mail. How can I set things up so that when I delete an email from Blackberry it deletes the email from Live Mail too?I would like to keep calendar on my Blackberry that synchs with a calendar on my laptop.so information is viewed the same on both Blackberry and laptop and updates both ways regardless of where the information is inputted.
I am trying to download apps from the marketplace and use other things that use Live. Whenever I try to download an app, I get "The Windows Phone Live ID service is unavailable right now. Try again later". I have tries to reenter my live ID password and restarted my phone. Sent from my SGH-i917 via the HowardForums WP7 App?
Is there any way to directly sync the BB calendar with the Windows Live Hotmail Calendar? It seems that the only way to do so is indirectly by using the Microsoft Office Outlook Hotmail Connector to sync with my desktop Outlook and then use DM to sync through a USB connection?
Tried to install the desktop software for the Bold 9700 on a laptop with Windows XP. Receive an error stating that the operating system is not compatible. Is there a fix or a version of the Desktop Software that will work with Windows XP Home Edition operating system?
I have recently purchased a new laptop that uses the Windows 7 operating system. I downloaded Desktop Manager for this new PC and when I try to configure the synchronization with my Blackberry to Outlook 2007 I keep getting a runtime error.
I spoke with technical support at Verizon and they told me that I was not able to sync my Blackberry to Outlook because it is not yet compatible with Windows 7.
Can anyone verify if that is true and know if Blackberry will soon be able to use all sync options - email, contacts, etc. - with Windows 7? I know have to continue to sync with another PC.
Amazing feature...now..not only can you backup your contacts as a BB file but you can save them on your PC as normal contacts which have full details (email, numbers, etc.)
You can download version 6 here >>> https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...247A852FAD3647
I set up iTunes to sync my contacts with my Google Gmail account before restoring to 4.0.1. Everything worked just fine other than having to go through and remove a few duplicates. Now I'm trying the same thing with my wife's phone. I set iTunes to sync her contacts with her Gmail account. It asked me if I wanted to Merge or overwrite the contacts on the iPhone. I selected Merge, but when it was done, it only had her Gmail contacts on the phone (with e-mail addresses only). All phone number contacts were gone. Thankfully most of them were still on her SIM card.
Before all this I tried to sync her contacts with an empty group in Windows Address Book, and it ended up copying the empty group to her phone, NOT copying her contacts to Windows Address Book, and it also copied the group with all of my phone's contacts to her phone.
How in the hell am I supposed to get this thing to work?I even tried setting up her Gmail as an Exchange account with mail, contacts, and calendars set to sync, but I still couldn't get her phone contacts into her Gmail account.I swear I'm about ready to manually type out all of her phone's contacts and numbers and just put them back on the phone after restoring to 4.0.1.
I am using Windows contacts for syncing my iPhone contacts through itunes. I have the latest iTunes and iphone 4.
All the contacts sync with WIndows but NOT all the numbers witihin the contacts. For e.g. the numbers stored in my iphone under type "iphone" do not sync nor do numbers stored under a custom category. last time I refreshed my iphone from my backup I lost a lot of numbers.
I'm trying to sync my iPhone contacts with windows contacts using iTunes. I keep getting the message "iTunes could not sync contacts with iPhone because the sync server failed to sync the iPhone." Internet connection is on. They used to sync before and one day they just stopped syncing.
I have a really old 3Gs that will not sync contacts (or even offer the option of syncing to) my gmail contacts. I've tried everything. I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, I reset my phone's settings. I made gmail the default email account on my phone and changed the port to 443. The only option it offers is my Windows Address Book, which apparently isn't even a thing anymore (it's now Windows contacts).I don't want to pay for the cloud because I don't think I'll have this phone much longer and I can't afford a new (or even used) iPhone...
I have a new PC and want to sync all my tunes, contacts, calender and notes from my iphone into the new PC.I want to synce the notes and calender with outlook and the contact with windows contacts. Do a need some software to do this?
I had both my office mail (Enterprise) and my Windows Live mail linked on my blackberry. My folder however dissapeared where my Windows live email appeared to, and I can't seem to receive any mails anymore. I have reset and wiped my phone, but nothing..
