BB Bold 9700 :: Live Messenger - Facebook Not Working
Apr 3, 2010
i just bought my new bold 9700 and i faced 3 main problems.
1- whenever i tried to download any application through blackberry.com i face this messag
"Sorry , your session has been expired. Please close all your browser windows and then return to the welcome page to start again." it was the only one page running at that time . i tried to restart the bb many times but i keep facing the same message.
2- Live messenger is not working . this message appears "Service not enabled for this handheld"
3- facebook application also not working ( i gess it is the same problem as live messenger)
I've got a curve 8900 and the last few days my Windows Live Messenger hasn't been working....anyone got any ideas??It lets me sign in and refresh the contact list to see who's online but then it doesn't deliever any of messages to my friends who are online. All other apps/internet working fine.I have recently upgraded to Windows Live Messenger 2.5.85.
I have problems clearing Windows Live Messenger (WLM) login history on Blackberry Bold. It seem to be "logged" down and remembers all the hotmail/live live messengers logins. Wonder if there is a way or a new update function on "Clear History" or "Forget Me" for Blackberry WLM?
I have the bold 9700, OS 5.0.0.862 with a blackberry data plan add on: unlimited social networking and instant messaging (not the full data plan).I've been using apps, such as facebook, twitter, bbm, etc for around 2 months, then it suddenly stopped working
my fb app suddenly stopped working, when i click on it it says 'we cannot reach the facebook server at this time, please try again later (100)'also bbm wont work - my messages wont even deliver to anyone and no one can send me anything however my web works fine - i went on it and did a google search and it worked, can someone suggest whats going on.
I have a 9700 BOLD. BBM worked for about a couple of weeks and suddenly stopped working. since then i've tried re-downloading etc, i called my supplier up who said everything is activated so it should all be fine and working.
I have recently bought a bb Bold 9780, subcribed to BIS on mobily network.i can send and recieve emails and browse internet too.. however cant use the facebook my space twitter or other app on the phone. In network option , Blackberry internet options shows not connected.on the status bar on the top of the screen i see 3G with the bb logo.
Does any one know how to get the Blackberry Bold 9700 to sync wirelessly with Live.com like it will with Yahoo or Google? I'm trying to cut down on the number of calendars that my Bold tells me it has, but can't seem to get the CONTACT LISt to wirelessly sync with Live.com If it sync's with Yahoo, it creates multiple entries on my BB and I need my Yahoo address book for my Messenger AND how do I get it to stop showing with Facebooks' Calendar? I Don't use that and it won't stop syncing all my information onto my Facebook account.
Only one problem, windows live messenger will install but cant sign in. Keeps telling me Connection 65 error. I have spoke at great lengths to Telus Tech support and they cant figure out why it is happening. Have reinstalled it at least 10 times. It has been off Blackberry world or of microsoft itself. Msn can have its issues.I can sign in on everyone elses phone...BUT MINE! No one who has tried could sign in on mine. They are still researching why it is not working. My yahoo works fine!
I no longer use Outlook or Outlook express. I installed Windows 7 and am very happy with Windows Live. Am I able to sync to WLM? I also have a g-mail account. If WLM does not work can I sync with Gmail? I need to sync contacts and calendar>
Is it possible to go to a radio stations' web site and use their streaming audio or 'listen live' feature? I had no problems doing this with my last smart phone (Samsung). Apparently the BB platform doesn't support streaming audio. Why not is my question and is there an application to remedy this. This is my first BlackBerry and although I really like the phone.. the user interphase leaves a lot to be desired.
does anybody know a way to put messenger live on nokia e63? i am not talking about web messenger or any those things. i am refering to an actual trustworthy aplication that could be run in the cell phone.
I have a problem with my email. i put in the address and password correctly but my phone says incorrect address/password. but yet my gmail works fine. i know im entering the correct info because i tested the same info on the mobile site in the browser and it worked.
I was wondering why the Windows Live Messenger is not available for the Nokia 5230.What alternatives are there? I used ebuddy, but I don' like that one.
I have a blackberry torch 9800 I buy on ebay is unlocked and works with att and tmobile i have a tmobile plan but when I want to sing in on widows Live messenger a messege appers: " service no enable for this handled" everything works facebook, twitter, internet, BBM, yahoo messenger. The only they I can't opened is windows live messenger and AOL.
every time I want to use live messenger, I have to use the search icon to found it. I do not understand why. I always saw him before on my desktop, but now I always do a search to find it I remove and reinstall but nothing to do I even try to put it in favorites but in the search screen is impossible
I have updated my BB Torch 9800 OMS 6.0 Bundle 2647 (v6.0.0.600, Platform 6.6.0.223) and receive windows live messenger and Yahoo messenger 2.5.81 after three weeks I have receive a windows live messenger 2.5.84 update in App World. When I install the 2.5.84 update it will install the 2.5.69 I believe this is a downgrade. What can I do to receive the 2.5.84 upgrade?
So im using my new 9700 i just upgrade the OS to 5.0.405 but i have not upgraded the Blavkberry Mesnger. I am currently using ver. 4.7 but i do want to see what the new version 5.0 is like. when i click on the messenger i con i get the 'Updat Available:Get Link/Copy Link/cancel options. What im wondering is if i upgrade this way will it install a fresh install or will it simply add on to the existing version, i guess the concern here is if it will delete my contacts as well or will it preserve all my contacts. Ihave already created a back up but want to know other peoples experiences in upgrading.
I've had my fantastic new 9700 for about a week now and I love it! But This morning i find that everytime i go into BB Messenger I get a box that says 'Upgrade available' I click on the 'get link' box and go to the page it takes me to on explorer. There is a big grey button on the screen that say 'Download' but I can't click on it....... I hold the arow over it and click and nothing happens, I've tried zooming in and i've tried pressing enter.
I'm new to BlackBerry and I'm trying to add contacts into BB Messenger but its still on pending authorization and my friends were telling me that they didn't receive any of my request. i found my PIN in option under status but it looks like its not working.
I have a 9700 eith the latest version of the software installed.
I read an article on the net that said to free-up device memory I should install items to my memory card.
In Application World, I highlighted Yahoo Messenger 2.5.32, clicked archive & it came up archiving complete. I tried to use the app but couldn't so I restored it, restarted, typed in my username/password & my contacts no longer received any of my messages.
I read on the net to remove the batter & try again, which worked until I logged out of Yahoo & since then Yahoo hasn't worked since. I have removed/re-installed it a number of times, removed the battery & nothing
Before I clicked archive & if logged on to the computer then logged on Yahoo with my 9700 it said on the computer I have logged in from a different location. If I was logged in on my phone then logged in via the computer I used to get an error 100 (unable to connect to the server) meaning I was logged in from a different location. Now, I can be on the computer, login on the phone which doesn't log me out of the computer & I can send messages from the phone yet no contact receives them. Go to the computer & send them with computer & phone logged it & automatically the contacts get my messages.
Also, if I remove the application, auto-restart when the phone comes back up I see a 'Y' on the Yahoo e-mail folder, but not always.
So the Ovi store says that the Nokia N97 Mini isn't supported by Windows Live Messenger yet my friend has it on his. Anyone any ideas why not or how I can get it?
don't know if anyone can help me, but I'm having serious issues with this version of WLM on my pearl 8120.I tried updating the version via BlackBerry App World. Downloaded and apparently installed fine. Rebooted the device and it keeps crashing on the restart. basically it'll start to load, then hang there for about 5-15 mins, then the red led will come for approx 3-5 seconds then it will turn off and do it all over again.Only way I have found to get my phone turned on again, is to connect via blackberry desktop manager and removing wlm version2.5.69 and then it works fine. But It's a pain in the **bleep** as I don't have WLM on my phone and I really need it on there.
