I have a problem with my email. i put in the address and password correctly but my phone says incorrect address/password. but yet my gmail works fine. i know im entering the correct info because i tested the same info on the mobile site in the browser and it worked.
I had both my office mail (Enterprise) and my Windows Live mail linked on my blackberry. My folder however dissapeared where my Windows live email appeared to, and I can't seem to receive any mails anymore. I have reset and wiped my phone, but nothing..
i just bought my new bold 9700 and i faced 3 main problems.
1- whenever i tried to download any application through blackberry.com i face this messag "Sorry , your session has been expired. Please close all your browser windows and then return to the welcome page to start again." it was the only one page running at that time . i tried to restart the bb many times but i keep facing the same message.
2- Live messenger is not working . this message appears "Service not enabled for this handheld"
3- facebook application also not working ( i gess it is the same problem as live messenger)
BBC mobile live streaming used to work great on my 5800XM when I was on V3 and V4. I upgraded to V5 last week, and now it no longer works. The BBC web page saysthat the handset is not compatible. However, when you read the help file, it says that the 5800 is a compatible device.
I have updated my Nokia C7-00 with live update but suddenly after 2 days it stopped working and is dead. Even power supply button is also not working. I have given cellphone to authorized service center but they were not able to resolve the problem and return handset. where i can get my device working as i Nokia care has taken there hand off.
When I try to video chat with my friend on Snapchat I can hear and see them but they can only see me, they cannot hear me. I have restarted my phone and completely uninstalled the app and re-installed, still nothing. Note: This is when we are live chatting. My regular snaps work just fine.
I've got a curve 8900 and the last few days my Windows Live Messenger hasn't been working....anyone got any ideas??It lets me sign in and refresh the contact list to see who's online but then it doesn't deliever any of messages to my friends who are online.All other apps/internet working fine.I have recently upgraded to Windows Live Messenger 2.5.85.
I did it previously and now it doesn't work. Sprint doesn't know what they are talking about I'm hoping someone here does.My Yahoo! account syncs PERFECTLY w/my Tour. My Gmail and WindowsLive accounts do not. I can delete a msg from the PC and it remains on the phone. I delete from the phone and it remains on the PC.
I've noticed for a few days that the Store app live tile was not working on my Lumia 1320 running cyan. I checked the settings but realized that I don't have the option to enable live tile for the store app. My device region is set to United States along with language.. But the option is totally missing. Strangely, the option is present on my Samsung ATIV S and it works perfectly.
Im running gingerbread and it came with a new update for the forest live wallpaper. Im suppose to be able to tap on the wallpaper to see the temperature/weather and a double tap should take me to accuweather. But taping it does nothing and the weather doesnt update either as it was raining and I hopes to see the animation but nothing happened.
I love how the 920 and 1020 would let me link certain email accounts and relabel them. I linked my two personal accounts (G mail and Outlook) and renamed them as "personal email", then I kept my work email as a separate account. I could pin them as two different live tiles on the start page. It was great. So far, I have not been able to do this with the 950. Is this a "lost feature"?
The only way to transfer contacts, as far as I've read, is that i have to import my contacts into my gmail account. I don't want to use my gmail account to hold all my contacts because I used Outlook.com for emails. If i were to ever make a new contact on my phone, it then wouldn't sync with my windows live acct. Am I missing something?I should just be able to hook up my email on my phone and have it sync everything, not just email
I've recently bought a nokia 820 and am having trouble with the messaging app. In my settings-ringtones+sounds, I've got the ringer on, and the new text or IM set to a sound, the 'play a sound for' everything is checked. However when I receive an SMS neither the messaging live tile updates to reflect this, nor does any sound alert me. The phone is set to ring+vibrate, is there somewhere else I'm not checking?
My Lumia 800 Music+Videos Tile is not showing any artist images. The music in my device is having full album information (With album art) but still the artist images are not coming on the tile.I just see the non-interactive tile on the start screen.
My live tile for Outlook was working until the update. When I get a new email, I don't get the unread message count on the live tile. This worked before the update. I also removed the email account and re-added it, but the message count does not show up on a new email.
I do get the alert sound when I get an email along with a notification, just no count on the live tile.
I have just purchased a Lumia 950. Among the many bugs I am trying to deal with, this is currently the most frustrating as it is affecting my work email notifications.
I currently have an old email notification stuck on my lock screen, and also on the live tile. I have deleted the email, refreshed the account, restarted the phone.
Both lock screen and live tile now no longer show new mail.
the title says it all, iv noticed the hotmail icon is a real pain when it replaces my theme custom icon, it looks really out of place how can i get the default email folder icon back?
I've not been receiving any emails today. i tried to delete and re-register my email and reboot the phone but it still cannot receive any email at all.
For the past week I have been receiving a message from Blackberry requiring me to validate one of my email addresses. Each time I do so, I get confirmation that the validation has been successful. However, the email address still does not work and within an hour or so I get a new message telling me to validate the address. This has happened several times daily since the Blackberry outages started, In all that time, I have had no access to my email at this address.
If anyone has any words of wisdom. I used my desktop manager to switch the devices. I went to my setup wizard and for some reason it will not let me add my user name or password. I tried adding the complete email address and just the user name. No go. It seems that I have had this little problem before I cannot remember how to fix it.

All worked fine.When I switched the UK SIM into my phone, the emails that were registred on my device were not working.I went to Setup, selected Email Accounts (Internet Mail Account), entered the page "Email Account Activation" where my email address is saved.I clicked on it, added my password and clicked on verify. A page opens snd says: "Sorry, unable to continue your session. Please log in again."I tried to reboot the device several times and it is always the same.

Does any one know how to get the Blackberry Bold 9700 to sync wirelessly with Live.com like it will with Yahoo or Google? I'm trying to cut down on the number of calendars that my Bold tells me it has, but can't seem to get the CONTACT LISt to wirelessly sync with Live.com If it sync's with Yahoo, it creates multiple entries on my BB and I need my Yahoo address book for my Messenger AND how do I get it to stop showing with Facebooks' Calendar? I Don't use that and it won't stop syncing all my information onto my Facebook account.
just got a new Bold 9700 and is having trouble setting up the email. When we go through the wizard on the device, everything seems ok. The wizard takes the info, and says that a new icon is now on the home screen and email is ready to use. No icon is displayed (it is not hidden, i've checked), and when I attempt to send an email from the Messages application an error message comes up that says, "No message services configured. You will be redirected to the Setup Wizard to set up your email account."
I've also tried (numerous times) sending the service books, updating the host routing table, and doing hard reboots (removing battery). None of those seem to make a difference. If it matters, she is able to send SMS texts, and use BBM without an issue. I've emailed the accounts we have tried setting up (from my laptop) but the emails are not recieved on her device (they are in her inbox - checked on laptop).
I got the new Bold 9900 a couple of weeks ago, and everything was working fine, but then a couple of days ago, everything just seemed to stop working. On BBM, whenever I try to send a message, the little red clock just appears, and I'm not seeing anybody's recent updates. My emails aren't coming through & none of the internet based apps are working. I've tried the hard reboot and reinstalling all the apps but nothing has worked.I've also done the Host Routing Table registration stuff but have not recieved any message. When I click on the service staus option, under the Blackberry Enterprise Service option, it says 'not connected'.
