My Lumia 800 Music+Videos Tile is not showing any artist images. The music in my device is having full album information (With album art) but still the artist images are not coming on the tile.I just see the non-interactive tile on the start screen.
View 3 RepliesI've recently bought a nokia 820 and am having trouble with the messaging app. In my settings-ringtones+sounds, I've got the ringer on, and the new text or IM set to a sound, the 'play a sound for' everything is checked. However when I receive an SMS neither the messaging live tile updates to reflect this, nor does any sound alert me. The phone is set to ring+vibrate, is there somewhere else I'm not checking?

I checked the settings but realized that I don't have the option to enable live tile for the store app. My device region is set to United States along with language.. But the option is totally missing. Strangely, the option is present on my Samsung ATIV S and it works perfectly.

The only background apps I have running is the one for the weather app I am currently trying to use. I have sent logs to Amazing Weather and Weather Flow and from what they see the background task is running and not getting any errors, but still no updating.

View 18 Replies View RelatedMy live tile for Outlook was working until the update. When I get a new email, I don't get the unread message count on the live tile. This worked before the update. I also removed the email account and re-added it, but the message count does not show up on a new email.
I do get the alert sound when I get an email along with a notification, just no count on the live tile.
I have just purchased a Lumia 950. Among the many bugs I am trying to deal with, this is currently the most frustrating as it is affecting my work email notifications.
I currently have an old email notification stuck on my lock screen, and also on the live tile. I have deleted the email, refreshed the account, restarted the phone.
Both lock screen and live tile now no longer show new mail.
Will these phones be getting regular updates?
950xl dual sim from US, non insider.I just got the firmware update yesterday and found out the live tile stop showing any information. Not a big deal but once you know it, it is annoying, just like the creaking back cover.I don't think this firmware update fix the heating issue, my phone heats up quickly even when browsing internet with Edge.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I press the Music & Video tile it looks like it is going to load but then bounces back to the main menu.Does on the complete list menu as well.Did this once before for a while then started working agin.Also now the xBox Live games is doing the same thing .The Nokia Music tile works OK though.When it first happened I thought it was a low battery thing as the battery was lowish, but this time the battery is fully charged.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy 822 is duplicating music, videos & pictures. I have 10-12 copies of some songs & pictures. It stops duplicating videos at 3 copies. It does not do it with all music, photo's or videos, so I do not think it is a card issue. I have a new Sandisk 64gb class 10 card that I formatted with this phone. Photo's music & videos were loaded to card through the phone by hooking up cable to windows 7 computer drag & drop/cut & paste. I can delete extra pictures, but I cannot delete extra videos or music. If you delete one of the copies, none of them will play. When you delete photos, there will be new copies by the next day. Have had this phone since the release at Verizon... Like the phone, but the video playback is very choppy & these duplicating issues are insane.

I've tried to call the 3282 data number, and it always tells me I'm at 0 even though I know i've been on the data network and not wifi.Also, can someone explain to me how much data something like the people tile/email account setup uses? I've never understood apps like that coming from suuper old phones. Is it constantly checking your email/facebook? On some time interval? I'd really like to set up facebook and such with the people tile because it seems really nifty, but I don't want to go over my 2gb plan. I just don't terribly understand how it all works, and i'd be willing to try it out if I could see how much data i'm using..but that goes back to my first question...In the past when checking email/facebook I'd always just use the internet browser on my old Nokia e71x, and it wasn't giving me updates in real time like I know this guy is capable of. I'd like to use it, I just don't wanna eat up my data plan.

I've removed Facebook from Accounts on the Phone and Re-added it to no avail. I am at a loss as to what else I could try to make it work.

I have a question about the live calendar tile on the 820. It doesnt seem to showing events on it.On the 800 I used to get an event reminder on the tile, which meant every time I was on thescreen I was constantly reminded of things I had to do!

I plug the phone into the USB cable, the phone software launches, select explorer, navigate to my sd card, wait for it to refresh, goto the camera folder and wait forever for thumbnails to draw. When I start to scroll through all the photos and videos, I barely get to the videos I want to transfer on to my pc.
Most of the time I give up and upload them to onedrive and download them, which is just stupid way to transfer files.
I had a question If I log in to a Music site on N900, a website which plays live streaming Music and if i Wanna relay it to my Car Audio system using the FM Transmitter in the N900 can I do it ? Mind you it is a website which plays live music.
