My live tile for Outlook was working until the update. When I get a new email, I don't get the unread message count on the live tile. This worked before the update. I also removed the email account and re-added it, but the message count does not show up on a new email.
I do get the alert sound when I get an email along with a notification, just no count on the live tile.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have just purchased a Lumia 950. Among the many bugs I am trying to deal with, this is currently the most frustrating as it is affecting my work email notifications.
I currently have an old email notification stuck on my lock screen, and also on the live tile. I have deleted the email, refreshed the account, restarted the phone.
Both lock screen and live tile now no longer show new mail.
Will these phones be getting regular updates?
like the title says my store tile isn't updating...today only I got all the update counts on my 720 but nothing on my 1320.

I checked the settings but realized that I don't have the option to enable live tile for the store app. My device region is set to United States along with language.. But the option is totally missing. Strangely, the option is present on my Samsung ATIV S and it works perfectly.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've recently bought a nokia 820 and am having trouble with the messaging app. In my settings-ringtones+sounds, I've got the ringer on, and the new text or IM set to a sound, the 'play a sound for' everything is checked. However when I receive an SMS neither the messaging live tile updates to reflect this, nor does any sound alert me. The phone is set to ring+vibrate, is there somewhere else I'm not checking?

The only background apps I have running is the one for the weather app I am currently trying to use. I have sent logs to Amazing Weather and Weather Flow and from what they see the background task is running and not getting any errors, but still no updating.

I linked my two personal accounts (G mail and Outlook) and renamed them as "personal email", then I kept my work email as a separate account. I could pin them as two different live tiles on the start page. It was great. So far, I have not been able to do this with the 950. Is this a "lost feature"?

View 4 Replies View Relateda couple of days ago I tried to do an update on my W995a via the SEUS program (latest version used, downloaded the day I did the update), It got to about 90% then stopped and stayed at 90% for about 2 - 4 minutes then it came up with Update Failed, I've retried the process a few times and all have failed, I've used the repair feature in the PC Suite program to try to fix the phone but it fails about about 90% as well, I had no issues or software glitches with the phone before attempting the Update. The phone now will not load the OS but instead just sits there with the keypad lights on. Is there a solution to this problem? As this is my main phone and the SEUS program has broken it.

After rebooting my phone told me that I had 35 new texts and a number of unread messages. I have tried everything short of deleting all of my messages. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?
View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen I upgraded to BB OS 5.0 I now have my message indicator default is 10 unread messages. I have gone into SMS, Email, missed calls and have asked to have all messages marked as prior read and it doesn't go away.
so if my day starts with 10 messages marked as unread and I get new ones thru the day it goes up and as I read these messages it goes down BUT never goes below 10.
If I have to reboot due to an app upgrade It may go up, not always but sometimes, I am now @ a steady 14 unread messages according to my message indicator. I really have NO unread messages
On my 4S I don't get a text character count unless I turn on the text message subject field.

I'm experiencing a weird glitch that no one (including tech support at Verizon) seems to be able to figure out. I have a gmail account set up on my Bold 9650 and everything works properly EXCEPT that I cannot get it to show me the message count of unread messages (which usually should show up in parenthesis when I scroll over the account envelope icon). It seems that this is an issue with the Bold 9650 in particular because I have gotten the gmail unread message count to work on other blackberry devices, but not my (or another friend's) Bold 9650.
