I did it previously and now it doesn't work. Sprint doesn't know what they are talking about I'm hoping someone here does.My Yahoo! account syncs PERFECTLY w/my Tour. My Gmail and WindowsLive accounts do not. I can delete a msg from the PC and it remains on the phone. I delete from the phone and it remains on the PC.
View 1 RepliesE-mail reconciliation is not working for me with my Gmail account. When I read an e-mail on my BB, it isn't being marked as read in my Gmail. It also isn't working the other way: when I read an e-mail on my computer, my BB doesn't mark it as read.
How can I fix this? E-mail reconciliation in my options is already turned on.

My purchase was based on the formidable reputation of Blackberry for easy and efficient email handling and I fully expected it to out-perform anything on the market in this respect. On setting up my IMAP accounts I was therefore shocked and very disappointed to find that sent item and read/unread email reconciliation is one-way only ie. from handset to mailbox.
On reading Blackberry support information and numerous Blackberry user forums I find that there is a substantial user base who share my feelings regarding this glaring and annoying omission of full two-way IMAP email reconciliation which is the norm on other smartphones including the iphone - presumably Blackberry's main competitor. As it is my 13 year-old son who uses an iphone is now laughing at the inability of my new Blackberry to perform simple email tasks!
In a moment of insanity, I turned off wireless email reconciliation for three of my email accounts. I did this, not knowing that it is impossible to turn it back on from my device! Is there any way to fix this without deleting and then re-adding my email accounts?

I have spoke at great lengths to Telus Tech support and they cant figure out why it is happening. Have reinstalled it at least 10 times. It has been off Blackberry world or of microsoft itself. I have updated my BB Torch 9800 OMS 6.0 Bundle 2647 (v6.0.0.600, Platform 6.6.0.223) and receive windows live messenger and Yahoo messenger 2.5.81 after three weeks I have receive a windows live messenger 2.5.84 update in App World. When I install the 2.5.84 update it will install the 2.5.69 I believe this is a downgrade. What can I do to receive the 2.5.84 upgrade?
View 8 Replies View RelatedJust went from a storm 1 to a tour and I am loving it. I can't believe how much more app. memory I have!
However, I cannot get my tour device to show up in windows explorer. It connects and I can browse my media card. There is no drive in windows explorer for the device itself. I can connect to desktop manager and back-up my device memory so I know the computer can read my blackberry device. I upgraded the os with no problems.
I am running vista home premium with blackberry os 5.0 from sprint. I am on verizon. I do have mass storage mode enabled and all of those memory settings set to yes (auto connect, etc.). BBSAK and Blackberry Master Control Program see the device as well. I do not use roxio media manager and it is not installed with my desktop manager. It was too slow and clunky when I had my storm so I never bothered with it.
So the Ovi store says that the Nokia N97 Mini isn't supported by Windows Live Messenger yet my friend has it on his. Anyone any ideas why not or how I can get it?
