I think I inadvertly deleted or blocked a contact on BBM. I have read several posts and tried several methods of re-adding them.
They can see my invitation, accept it so that I show as a contact on their BBM, but the status remains pending on my phone & I don't receive their messages.
BBM works fine for all of my contacts. I have tried deleting them as a contact, inviting them by PIN no, scanning barcodes.
Is there a way to recover/retrieve BBM messages/chats from a deleted BBM contact on a BlackBerry Curve 9300? The "save message history" was turned off at the time of these chats.
i have an issue trying to add a contact to BBM but always goes to pending. Tried all fixes Vodafone have gave me.Pulled battery that much phone was off more than on! Deleted BBM an reinstalled. Tried adding contact with PIN, barcode and email. Always goes to pending. Same happens when contact trys to add me. At my wits end with itUpgraded to new OS software (Via vodafone remote access) but still same problem. reinstalled new version of bbm but problem still exists. Called RIM with number vodafone gave me in uk but they say all fine ??
I have a Curve 3g and when I set the alert tone for message alerts for a contact it still plays the default tone.If I goto contact info it shows that is has the tone that I had set for it.I have tried rebooting, deleting contact and re adding them with the tones. When I deleted and readded it worked ok for a brief moment but then reverted back to using the default. It uses the proper ringtone. Its just the message tone I am having a problem with.

How to delete photos from my iPhone 5 previously synced from my desktop but now have been deleted from my computer? I have an album on my phone named Desktop and can't delete photos from this album on my phone and they don't show up in iTunes now.
I had deleted one of the contacts from my phone, but still, I get the name of the particular contact on my screen when he calls me. I am not able to understand why this is happening.
I have a BB Curve 9300. It was updated yesterday to connect with the Blackberry server at work. After the IT person had done this, so that my BB is now synched with my work Outlook program, I found that I had all my work contacts in the BB and had lost all the personal contacts which had been on the BB before he got to work on it. They had not been backed up. I guess tehre's no way to restore them is there? I then backed up my wife's BB contacts from her old Curve 8320 onto my Mac using the BB desktop software. But when I tried to restore that data to my BB, it said that it was a read-only database and could not be restored.
I have deleted a contact on my bb and my outlook. Wheni compose an email the first two letters of his email pop up.Exmaple. in the compose an email field I want to write an email to GD-George Dunn so i type GD and the email address of a deleted contact Gemma Dirosso (Gdirosso@gail.com) pops up first. I had deleted her on my bb and outlook yet only her email address pops up. So i cannot find her on my contacts, so by rights her email info should be gone but it isn't. so i cannot delete it as it is no where to be found on my bb and outlook
Alright so, I've never had a hitch with my blackberry since I got it in August 2011.Recently I could be talking to my friend on BBM and the next minute it's saying I no longer have them as a contact and if i'd like to reinvite them? It's starting to get really annoying because it happens about 4 or 5 times a day with multiple contacts. I've tried restoring my phone back to an earlier date, I've updated bbm and I'm now running out of options because I can't delete BBM and reinstall it because I don't have the option anymore.
On the previous OS 4.6, if I received a new SMS message from someone I didn't have in my contacts list, all I had to do was scroll up to the number, click the menu key, and then select "Add to Contacts" and then I could enter in all of the other pertinent information and save. On OS 5.0, however, I can not scroll up to the contacts number no matter what I do and there appears to be no way to add the number to my contacts without manually adding it or some other round-a-bout way.
I am far from an expert on this 'ere Desire phone but am trying to add a picture from Gallery to a Contact. From Gallery/Picture i can get the list of options from which I pick "Set as" then "contact icon" it then asks to select from ASTRO or HTC people. When I "select contact" it says that no contact matches? Could it be that contacts need to be saved from SIM onto Phone?
Here is where I get stuck: When I am at the "New Group" screen, and it asks me to "Add a Member," I click the trackball and it brings me to my contact list. Then, whether I click the trackball or the menu button on the contact, I seem unable to add a member.
I cant seem to just add one contact it has to be two or more. i put the contact click ok but nothing happens but if theres two contacts i can compose an sms.

how I manually add a contact. I had a look at the help page and it tells me to open Timescape and do it that way. But it's a new phone and I don't have any records in there. I jusr want to add some more contacts. I know I can do this via my Google contacts but there must be a simple way to do it on the phone, but I just can't find it.
Currently, if someone shares a contact in WhatsApp, and you tap the contact, the 'Add to contacts' button will automatically add the contact to Phone contacts by default. Is there any way to change that so contacts from WhatsApp (or any other app in which contacts can be shared) will be saved to my Google Contacts by default?
Is it possible when adding a new contact on the iphone 4S to have it default to a particular group of contacts? The reason for asking is that my wife and I both have iphones, and in Address Book on our home iMac all our contacts are mixed up, but then we each have a group.
This should be an easy function, but I cannot figure it out. I view the list of calls, select options -- no option to add from the list. When adding a contact, no option to add from the call list. Am I missing something or is this really not a valid function?
there is any way to make groups of ******* Say you want to separate work people from normal people? That way, I could just turn off ******” when I don’t want to be bothered with any calls.
I found one option to go on icloud and make new groups and add the contacts I want to those groups.
I cannot figure out how to get those new groups to actually show up on my phone.
I don't use icloud for anything, other than backing contacts, thats it.Â
BTW, without using any additional programs or downloads.Â
I have had repeated problems with my pearl BBM auto-deleting conversations.I have a good deal of memory available, so I don't think that's the problem. And the conversations don't ALWAYS disappear, which makes this problem all the more odd.But I would say most of the time the convos are deleted for no reason at all.
