my blackberry is not allowing me to see my e mail messages in the phone. It was working fine and suddenly it stopped working.I have tried deleting the email account and setting it up again and it has not worked.
I have problem on setting up my email account.. I have a hotmail account but I can't access it through my blackberry. At first I tried to set it up via set up-email account etc but I couldn't. Then I opened my browser, clicked on communication and then integrate hotmail but the stage doesn't''t open at all.It appears the message unknown error, please try again.
I can't setup email. I tried setting it up via the device, but since I don't have enterprise account this doesn't work. I then tried to do this via the web, but after going through all the steps, including inputting my IMEI and PIN numbers it then said that the device wasn't registered on BT. So where do I go from here?
These few days I got problem viewing my email on my blackberry. Every email got cut off somewhere in the middle. I can still scroll up and down on the email but just can't view the other half. The other half just appear as a small square box. My device is curve 9360.
I have a similar problem on the BB 9360. My email ID is incorrect and hence the password too. how to go and change the base email ID coz everything on the BB is linked to it.
I have several blackberry's (Curve 9360) all linked into the company's Blackberry enterprise server. There is one company email account, I need to be set up on three of these BBs.I'm told this cannot be done, as BB will only allow one email account to be linked to one BB mobile.
I purchased a new BB curve 9360 & every time I reboot it my emails & browser do not work, my emails stay blank & my browser is not accessible. The only way to fix this problem is to reset my phone software, once I do this it all works again. Why my phone keeps doing this as I'm sick of resetting the software every time?
Just upgraded from Curve 8520 to Curve 9360, and I'm a little disappointed at the moment. Firstly, the battery doesn't last half as long, and secondly, its sending duplicate text in an email.
E.g.: I send an email saying : Hi, how are you?. What it really sends is : Hi, how are you? Hi, how are you? </div>
I am trying to set up multiple email accounts with BIS on my Curve 9360. My existing email accounts were initially copied from a previos Blackberry (Bold 9000), but when I attempt to add an additional one, the only option I get is "Create a new email address' (the Blackberry one).
My service provider confirms to me that this is not due to them. The problem was there with OS7.0 and remains with 7.1.
I have a brand new BB 9360 with unlimited email, bbm and phone plan (no data plan but I didn't have one on my old phone either and I didn't have this issue). When I'm connected to Wifi, my bbm and email works perfectly. As soon as I leave that wifi connection, it shows I am connected to the Bell network but bbm and email do not work until I turn my phone off then on or make a phone call. It is like it has to reset before really picking up the bell network. I called Bell Canada and they basically told me I have to manually disconnect and reconnect every time I leave a wifi connection. That doesn't even work.
I want to setup email connection. On this 9360 I do not have any Connection Assistant so I use "setup" mode and "mail accounts" options. Usually (as on my previous Curve 8520) I used to have two options when entering there :
- Use my own email address (personal address) or create a new one - Use my Enterprise email address
But when I launch Email setup on my curve 9360, I have only the Enterprise option so that I Cannot setup email! My 9360 runs under OS 7.
I live in Panama, and I use Telefonica services.Currently I have two accounts already set up on my phone, one is hotmail and the other of my university where I live.I want to add a new email account at Setup-Email Settings and it send me to the page = if you want to access your email settings or you changed your device log in. how can I add a new email account?
I am wanting to know is there a way to delete multiple email messages or normal messages for that matter at one time.If i receive like 20 emails, do I really need to delete each one individually? As it's major painful. Even my old dilapidated cell phone could delete mutiple messages at once.
Email Set-up. I recently bought a Curve 8520 blackberry and got it unlocked, I got problems regarding setup-in my email. I should go to set up. Click set up wizard then email setup. And only one is appearing in my device which says: I want to use a work email account with a blackberry enterprise server.
The Email Settings : add more account envelope is missing ! I activated my host route table 100% fine, but I cannot set up a personal email, only a enterprise one.
Note: Some wireless service providers and third-party device manufacturers have processes called master reset, factory reset, or master clear, which erases all user data and settings for non-BlackBerry carrier devices, restoring them to a "factory" or "out of box" state. The wipe handheld command performs this same function on a BlackBerry smartphone:
I recently received a message that I need to confirm my password to further have my private emails forwarded onto the blackberry. now the blackberry won't connect to the server and i can't change the settings/ confirm password.
I just updated a blackberry 9300 to OS6 and found some issues regarding the email settings. Here are the issues I've found
1. Somtimes, it takes a very long time to load up email settings. For this , I clicked on "Settings", and then "Email Accounts"
2. Under Email accounts, it is obvious that there are 2 types of emails, one being enterprise, and one for the other types. I wanted to add an emaiil account, however when I click on the first option , nothing happens.
I tried to do some research about this, and came accross articles saying that I need to install "Email Settings", from the desktop manager. So I did, but apparently , it gives me an error that there are dependency issues, which means that I can't install "Email Settings" afterall.
When I enter the setup tab, I then click on email settings nothing happens.I need to change my gmail settings as I am not happy that my contacts and calendar are being synched with google given their new privacy statements. how I can change these settings.
I have a Blackberry 9300, on Vodaphone, I set up my email sometime ago, but i wanted to add another email address but i can not access my email settings on my phone, does anyone know how I can do this, also after updating my phone my email icon has disappeared how can i get this back?
Just downloaded a Blackberry update yesterday and lost my email settings. Set up wizard is frozen. Is there a back door available to reset email settings?
My company had to wipe my BB and now I do not have the option to 'create or add an email address'. The only option is to 'use a work email account with a BES'. How do I get that option back?
my phone doesn't have the email settings icon ir doesn't appear in my phone i think is because me phone hasn't been activated yet . witout this email settings i can use many aplications in my cell.
I want to manage my work emails on my personal blackberry but I want to know if there is any way of setting the email so it only receives mail between 9-5.30 weekdays, so I don't get bombarded with work related emails whilst not working - a little like auto on/off. This function actually exists? Or will I just need to switch off the configuration?
I have a curve 8300 which used to be connected to my mobile account through my former employers BES which worked perfectly. I have now left the company so have switched it from BES to BIS using the same mobile service provider. Emails are not synchronizing properly between handheld and laptop and I am told by mobile service provider that this is likely due to the 'email settings' not being set up correctly on my handheld. The problem is that most of the fields that should be appearing under options/email settings on my handheld are missing. The device software has been wiped and reinstalled but problem remains. Any ideas on why I am missing some of the fields and how I can get them?
I have only had this for 2days and I am unable to get the emails working, in the set up tables the email setting icon is not there and when I try to set up the email in the set up wizard, email set up only gives 1 option 'I want to use a work email account with blackberry enterprise server' which I don't I wan to connect to my home email address with Sky Email
In email settings appears next to an address: Invalid account check. The password and username are correct and the account is existing, how come I can not validate with the Blackberry Curve 8520?The operator is sitomobilevodafone from vodafone but I can not verify the account, I have to do with the device?
In the "message settings' option menu, "e-mail settings" isn't available. I have managed to set up several email accounts by simply going into the 'email" option in the "messaging" menu, but I can't set the phone to check for emails automatically or to notify me of new emails, etc, etc, in other words, I have no menu option, for adjusting the settings for emails. I am running the latest version of the software
I have a Curve 8330 and want to keep my outlook and Yahoo email separate. Is there a way to keep the yahoo emails form showing in my Main Message List?
