Feb 6, 2012Just downloaded a Blackberry update yesterday and lost my email settings. Set up wizard is frozen. Is there a back door available to reset email settings?

Nov 18, 2011My company had to wipe my BB and now I do not have the option to 'create or add an email address'. The only option is to 'use a work email account with a BES'. How do I get that option back?

Feb 9, 2010I have a curve 8300 which used to be connected to my mobile account through my former employers BES which worked perfectly. I have now left the company so have switched it from BES to BIS using the same mobile service provider. Emails are not synchronizing properly between handheld and laptop and I am told by mobile service provider that this is likely due to the 'email settings' not being set up correctly on my handheld. The problem is that most of the fields that should be appearing under options/email settings on my handheld are missing. The device software has been wiped and reinstalled but problem remains. Any ideas on why I am missing some of the fields and how I can get them?

Feb 9, 2012After the update downloaded and while my two email accounts linked to my Blackberry still show up under email setup (under setup icon), I'm no longer getting emails. One email (gmail) icon shows up on my main screen but my other email acccount icon is gone. I thought I'd setup my emails again but when I go into email setup, both account addresses are there and both asking for a password (?). I even tried to change the password but, when I use the help instructions how to do this, there is no menu items for what the help suggests I try. I can't even delete the email addresses to try again.

Nov 17, 2011Email Set-up. I recently bought a Curve 8520 blackberry and got it unlocked, I got problems regarding setup-in my email. I should go to set up. Click set up wizard then email setup. And only one is appearing in my device which says: I want to use a work email account with a blackberry enterprise server.
The Email Settings : add more account envelope is missing ! I activated my host route table 100% fine, but I cannot set up a personal email, only a enterprise one.

Jan 31, 2012I just updated a blackberry 9300 to OS6 and found some issues regarding the email settings. Here are the issues I've found
1. Somtimes, it takes a very long time to load up email settings. For this , I clicked on "Settings", and then "Email Accounts"
2. Under Email accounts, it is obvious that there are 2 types of emails, one being enterprise, and one for the other types. I wanted to add an emaiil account, however when I click on the first option , nothing happens.
I tried to do some research about this, and came accross articles saying that I need to install "Email Settings", from the desktop manager. So I did, but apparently , it gives me an error that there are dependency issues, which means that I can't install "Email Settings" afterall.

Feb 6, 2012I upgraded my OS this weekend to 6.0. I cannot send or receive emails on my device now, nor do I even have the icon for my email accounts anymore. I tried to go through setup to verify them, but I keep getting a messag that says, "Sorry, unable to continue your session. Please log in again."
I used to be on an enterprise server, but no longer use that email, but I have always been able to continue using my other accounts. I don't know if that makes a difference at all, but I mention it so the response I get doesn't include activating my enterprise server.

Jun 24, 2010I reformatted my BB on Monday, and reinstalled it from backup. Before that, when I'd get an email notification, the LED would flash red and a tone would sound. Now, nothing. I have it set up correctly, and even took it to the store today to see if they could figure it out. All other sounds/notifications work fine, except for email.

Feb 2, 2010I have a very big problem about 8310, as for a sudden I have lost my email application with no reason and I couldn't receive send email at all. I have contacted my service provider and they have helped me to check in many methods that would help to fix this even check my IEMI and Pin number in Canada and there was nothing wrong with it. Today I double checked in every application and I found I have no certificates details at all compare to the other BB.
I start to check this because it seems my provider doesnt recognize my emei and pin number. I have tried many times to delete email setting and reset. I couldn't even add the pin and emei number, it's always showned 'Invalid Pin and Emei' please contact your service device. Btw, I have been using it for 4 months only

Apr 27, 2010In the "message settings' option menu, "e-mail settings" isn't available. I have managed to set up several email accounts by simply going into the 'email" option in the "messaging" menu, but I can't set the phone to check for emails automatically or to notify me of new emails, etc, etc, in other words, I have no menu option, for adjusting the settings for emails.
